like living in Paradise!”
It's a really beautiful hotel comparing to the others in Nasa Dua. Staying there likes living in Paradise. It's my really personal comment based on the truth. I'm not a blogger writing this for any business purpose. If any weakness of the hotel, it could be a little oldness of the room. The design of the sockets for power, USB charger and Wifi connection area are not so convenient for business trip. However, for vacation travelers, the hotel is excellent enough.
We had a pleasant stay in Melia. Room is clean and the garden in Melia is just so beautiful! A good place to bring the family with kids. Breakfast spread is good but may need more different variety from day-to-day. We stayed for 4 nights and almost all the food we had was the same from Day 1. In saying that, the quality of the food is decent. The only complain is the housekeeping. There seem to be no consistency in replenishing the amenities everyday. There are 3 of us. However, what we received each day varies. Some days; no hand towel is given, bath towel 2 instead of 3 & for shampoo, conditioner and bath lotion - we can get 1 small tube of shampoo for 3 person? Everyday the number of tubes for each type varies.. Apart from the housekeeping, we did enjoy our stay in Melia Bali.
Good for families, but food was disappointing for us.”
We found the found extremely overpriced for Bali, even for a luxury resort (which we've stayed at many in Bali). The worst part for us was we found the food very average so it was even more disappointing. 19,500 for a Mee Goreng that wasn't even good. For a family, we can see the appeal as a cheaper option to say Fiji or the Maldives, but not for someone wanting to experience the "real Bali" or for "Foodies". Good thing - it has beautiful gardens and a huge pool, nice beach front and bars area, decent coffee at the Kopi shop and a comfortable quiet room. Just not our vibe.
Everything here is just so overpriced.”
Everything here is just so overpriced. From the food and drinks to a taxi. Double/triple what you will pay any where else. For example: you cant just order a taxi you have to take their taxi. Ride to the airport is 250k but airport to Melia in a normal taxi is only 100k. Bintang bottle over most of Bali is less than 30k but at Melia it is 75k.
Very good location to enjoy Private Beach near to the jogging track, Devdan Theater and Famous Resto”
Stay at Melia Nusa Dua will make you wanna go back because so many places to explore near the Hotel that can be reached by walk and so many activities for children who came along with you... The facilities are very satisfying, the ambience are very beautiful, cozy and luxurious... Definitely wanna go back to stay there someday 👍🏻 Thank you Melia...
A bit pricey ”
We are long time travelers to Bali but the first time staying in Nusa Dha. We picked the Melia as part of my wife’s 60th birthday celebration. The grounds , room and the facilities were top class. The beach was great, nice sand and warm water. However I know you expect to pay a little more for the food but $110 for breakfast for 2 is a bit over the top. The food pricing across all food outlets were too high and does not encourage you to eat at the hotel. The other major item that disappointed was the pool. It was warmer than a bath. Not good on a hot day when you want to cool off. I would go and get under the pool shower rather than having a swim. Don’t think we will return.
Dear Robert, Warm greetings from the tropical paradise! Thank you very much for staying with us, and for taking the time to share your experience via Agoda. We are sincerely glad that we could meet your expectation in terms of our facilities, rooms and immaculate grounds, and will surely pass your kind words to our team. In regards to your comments about our breakfast price, I would like to clarify that the value of our breakfast is IDR 530.000 nett/person or more of less USD 35/person. Aside from it, we also offer All Inclusive package, which many of our guests found as a good value offer. The All Inclusive package allows our guests to enjoy 24 hour free flow beverages with other benefits such as various food options, regular themed night buffet, non-motorized water sport equipment and culturally enriching Uluwatu excursions. Once again, thank you for your feedback and hope that we will have another opportunity to host you again. Best regards, Isma S. Quality Co
Great Hotel and perfect location. ”
Have stayed at Melia 3 times now in the last 4 years. I just love this Hotel, it is big but still personable and not too far to get to breakfast and pool. Location is great, being on the beach and boardwalk which allows you to take a leisurely stroll past all the other Hotels near by. Also located next to Bali Collection if you want to shop or find somewhere alternate to eat/drink or spa treatments. Staff are also lovely and if a problem should arise are quick to respond.
Always a very pleasant experience, very friendly and helpful staff, wonderful beachfront and pool.”
Location is great with wonderful beachfront and pool. Various types of rooms to cater for bigger families so all can stay in 1 room at a reasonable price. Would be great if both upstairs and downstairs toilets can shower. This is the only inconvenience for family room type which my family stayed. Breakfast can be improved with more warm food and vegetables. Lifts are under repair which can be improved too.
in general , this hotel is good”
so far so good.. most of the staff are frendly.. but also got small portion not really, we asked for life location for my mother as she couldn't climb up and down, but the staff told us.. all life are under repair.. u must climb down, later I found out that the few lift are under repair, but the working lift is just beside our room, before I found out this, I complaint to the front desk, they are fine that really want to offer us a new room , but still not suitable, basically in general this hotel is good.. good breakfast.. good staff..
Great resort, quiet and serene”
right from room to swimming pool is less than 3 mins walk and from pool to beach is less than a min away. very beautiful resort with great service and great well spaced room and got restaurant and also this place where the photographer teaches you photography.
Lovely food choices and friendly staff”
Well maintained hotel, and such a wide variety choices of food. Booking all inclusive and ended up enjoying to food very much along with the facility with my husband and babies. Would really love to comeback again. Room needs upgrade- a bit dusty and old but its good overall...
Rooms are lacking but the gardens are beautiful ”
The gardens really are great to walk around in. The restaurants are pretty good but very expensive compared to the rest of Bali. We had issues with our rooms and ended up moving twice. The lagoon rooms were really nice with private access to the pool. There isn't much in the area to explore. 15 dollars++ for spirit and mixers will soon make your money disappear in the bar. Staff were hit and miss. So many trainees it seemed however we did encounter some very good staff too.
My holiday is really GREAT because of Melia. I'm really lucky to choose a good hotel, good locations and comfortable to go around by myself. One more advise, I think you need to review your breakfast menu, so people not boring :)
Big hotel with good management.”
I liked this hotel because it is so beautiful，clean, comfortable and all the staff were friendly and always smiling. My kids love the big pool and the activities like handcraft making at the kids club. We did had lunch at the beach restaurant, it was tasty and big portion, so can try it with good environment surrounding you.
Excellent Luxury Family Holidays”
I will definetely repeat, perfect hotel for family with young children looking for a high end holidays to spoil parents and family. Kids club great, garden gorgeous, pool beautiful, staff extremely friendly, facilities good with room for modernisation. The hotel feeling is fantastic you really feel in Bali. Nusa due has all you can need to spoil yourself, and still able to do day trips for more adventure and buzz.
Great serivce and facilities”
We love the family room, it is 2 storey and gives us the privacy needed from the children. My teenage sons love the gym. Food selection for breakfast is great with variety of selection. We love that the location of the hotel, even though it is far from shopping area. We like the serenity of the palce and the peaceful environment. Service was excellent too.
We were really happy with our stay at Melia hotel.”
We were really happy with our stay at Melia hotel. We're 3 families plus 1 year old baby girl. We really enjoyed everything: from Food, staff, cleanliness, pool facilities, beach, spa and everything is very good. The breakfast was pretty amazing, the restaurant by the beach (Sorrento) also served very good food (their bruschetta is recommended). The only thing the hotel could improve is they should check their shower, it's really slow and took us a while to shower.
Nice hotel, great stuff”
The check in took acually a long time. Much longer than to be expected for a 5 star hotel. The breakfast was nice - many choices. The food in all the restaurant is expensive but good. Beach really depends on the tide schedule. The hotel is very close to Bali collection. only 10-15 minutes walking. At 2am in the morning a group of chinese checked in and for arround 30 minutes it was very noisy in the hotel. Even we called the reception the hotel stuff did not really take any action the help them to check in easy and quit. When we checked out I was not even asked about how was my stay... The hotel is very nice. Stuff very friendly!!! But for me sometimes they look realy helpless in such situations....
We are at our honeymoon trip and we are really impress with the Villa that we stayed. It is very huge with private pool + big compound!! Thanks for Melia Hotel to give us this unforgettable honeymoon experience & looking forward to come again :)
RELAXING, COMFORTABLE AND PLEASANT STAY”
THIS WAS MY SECOND TIME BACK TO MELIA AND IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. LOCATION PERFECT FOR SHOPPING AT BALI COLLECTION AND PROXIMITY TO THE BEACH IS PERFECT. BREAKFAST WAS STILL OF A VERY HIGH STANDARD BUT EVEN BETTER AT CHRISTMAS TIME. STAFF ARE JUST SO NICE AND FRIENDLY AND GENUINELY SEEM TO ENJOY WORKING THERE. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE AND LOOKING FORWARD TO RETURNING SOON.
