This is a comfortable hotel, the staff are very friendly and it has great facilities for all the family. We always try to stay here when we are in Benidorm
its not exactly central but plenty of bars and stuff around so your walk into benidorm central is not a boring one.
Excellent hotel adn friendly staff”
This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel for New Year's Eve in Benidorm. The breakfast New Years day was outstanding.
Good quality hotel, quiet, but not very central”
Good value, gorgeous pool and a good international menu. Not impressed by the internet facility and it's quite far away from the old town (about 2 miles). However, the trade off is that it's considerably quieter than the rest of Benidorm.
Excellent hotel with friendly, cheerful staff”
We found our stay excellent. The hotel was easy to find, and we were only kept waiting a short while at reception. We had booked 2 superior rooms, which lived up to their names. Plenty of wardrobes, cupboards etc, 32" tv, and a huge bathroom. Very clean. We had ordered non-smoking, and one of the rooms had a strong smell of smoke. On notifying reception, they rectified this by spraying the room, and it was fine afterwards. The breakfasts were excellent, with a wide range of hot and cold food, and all the staff were happy. This was a value for money stay.
sol mellia exellent”
very good price good location good piano music well done victor all round first class will stay again soon
Bright, airy, pristine hotel, very friendly staff”
Very good facilities, a beautiful reception and foyer area with internal gardens, very attractive. Lovely outdoor areas, large amount of space. Rooms clean, a little on the small side. Lovely south fcaing balconies, great views.
A very nice hotel”
Check in was good, no long delays. Easy to find room which was clean and comfortable. We booked on a bed and breakfast stay with the breakfast being very good with lots of choice.
Food was really awful, lack of choice and cold. Coming from a catering back round, chefs should not put so much food on the servary at any one time when restaurant is not busey. But monitor the levels so they have a constan flow of fresh hot food! The Que for the microwave should have told them the food was not hot. At breakfast customers had to open their own cava no assistance from the staff. Where was the dinning room manager making sure the hotel guests were being looked after?
Fabulous hotel, very clean, great location”
We had a really lovely stay, the staff were friendly, everything was lovely, best hotel we have ever stayed in, it was perfect.
excellent hotel and service”
booked upgraded room and well woth it, out of way of hustle and bustle of centre but only 20 min walk,
the hotel was very nice however it is under staffed at the reception area. when we arrived to check in it took 40 minutes standing in sweltering heat. when we arrived first we saw the que and got some food hoping the que would have disapated by the time we returned. sadly it had not. this was a daily occourance for all visitors to the hotel as we witnessed the ques daily when exiting the hotel. the same happened to us when we were checking out. the lifts were a joke even at off peak times with an avarage wait of 5 minutes. the disabled bedroom is to small for wheelchairs to get around the bedroom comfortably resulting in not being able to get anything independently. the bathroom was excellent as was the breakfast in the hotel. there were not enough sun loungers of the hotel perhaps should employ some system that prohibits people of leaving towels on loungers despite not using the loungers for long periods of up to 4 or 5 hours
Excellent, good clean comfortable hotel, good food and very helpful staff.
Value for money excellent. The pool area is beautiful. There is a huge range for breakfast. ”
You get what you pay for and I was not disappointed. It's in lovely setting. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Melia hostel ”
Check-in took way to long 30 mins as only one member of staff trying to help 1 customer with the Internet code . Then when we got to the room we had 2 single beds after requesting a double room , the bathroom had hairs all over the toilet and shower ! The sofa in the room was so old I touched it and dust and it fell apart! The decor and cleaning needs a massive overhaul. This hotel only has a good name ! As a Melia club card member I stayed in a lot of Melia hotels and this is the worse by far !!
All was excellent and we have stayed here before. Just one problem the lifts were slow in coming to pick you up and also travelled quite slow.
Good location excellent food the bath tub very old”
Facilities are good such swimming pool and the dinning room. The bath tub in the room very old and its white coating was coming off I had to change the room. The new room was slightly better but the bath tub was old and its white coating had been repaired and the shower head very noise We had breakfast and the food was really good. I think it wasn't a great value for money.
Upon arrival we tried to park the car in the underground car park. Unfortunately, we could not do this without the car park voucher that had to be paid for when checking in. How can you check in if you can't find a parking space? When I checked in, the receptionist was quite rude and wasn't paying full attention to what she was doing. She didn't ask me whether I wanted a safe in the room (that had to be paid for) nor did she ask me whether I wanted WIFI in my room (again, that you had to pay for). There was a good selection of food at breakfast but was horrified to find that the plate I had used was dirty. Very disappointing stay and will not use this chain of hotels again.
