The location ”
Great hotel in awesome location central Valencia. Small pool/hot tube and solarium on top floor. Just remember parking is expensive at the hotel and public parking
Very nice hotel”
Large room , clean room, very friendly staff , excellent amenities, great location Wanted to mention Andre Schoder-Bieschin at the front desk, who was very professional and very helpful
Nice property with great location and very helpful staff.
Excellent location. Walking distance to everything - Mercat Central, Valencia Cathedral, Estacion del Norte, etc. There are nice restautants, tapa bars, etc around the hotel.
Perfect Location - Nice Hotel”
Great position for all the local restaurants and bars, went room only so can't judge the food. There is an abundance of cafes and bars serving great food on the doorstep. Too far to walk to the beach (approx 1hr) but easy access by both the local and tourists buses, 5 mins walk from the metro station (xavita) 20 minutes direct from the airport (great!!) about 4 euros. Will use the hotel again, there is a gym on the top floor with an outside (small) Jacuzzi and sunbating area, which served the purpose but wouldn't accommodate much more than 6 people.
Wifi was horrible
Great Location, good facilitie, excellent room good value for money we had a great time
Good location and service. Worth staying in
Location is great . We were on 11th floor which gave us a sunny terrace in the afternoon . However the service room and lift was next door and very noisy from 6 am. I would avoid if possible .
Melia is fantastic. ”
Great location! Rooms very nice & comfortable. Definitely would come back!
Everthing good, hotel near center of the city.
Best location but small room”
The hotel is in the very centre of Valencia, which is a plus. Yet, the room was tiny. Nothing to complain: good wi-fi, friendly staff, etc. Just, you cannot stay in the room without suffering claustrophobia. Perfect if you are on holiday. Very small gym, as well.
I strongly recommend this hotel
One Night Stay”
Great location for a one day trip to Valencia. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Nice bathroom. Staff was helpful. Great relief to find that they provide parking - and will park your car for you!
The room we were checked in to was a little on the small side, although bed was big & comfy & bathroom large. A leak developed in the ceiling of the bathroom so management relocated & upgraded us to a much larger room (suite) with a view over the Plaza d'Ajuntament. Bed & pillows were very comfortable & linens crisp & clean. Bathroom was large with a bidet & extra large soft fluffy towels. There was a plunge pool on the roof, sauna & small gym. Live music in the downstairs bar on Friday & Saturday evening. Breakfast was substantial, however some of the hot dishes were cold & the bacon overdone. Location is fantastic, easy walk from the station & close to everything in the Old Town. Free wi-fi but connection failed a few times. My only negative comment is that the shower leaked beyond the glass over the bath flooding the floor & lighting in the shower was non existant which made it a bit dim. Otherwise a fantastic hotel with pleasant reception staff.
Hotel was comfortable, clean and in an excellent location close to the historic centre. However the pool featured is just a cold jacuzzi.
The best !”
There is only one thing to say - fantastic hotel !
Unsatisfactory stay ”
Actually the location of the hotel is alright but they gave me a room at the end of the corridor that was unclean and musty smelling, with hair on the bedsheets and in the bathroom sink. I suspect that the housekeeping staff are sloppy and the management do not check them regularly. After unpacking everything and discovering the hair then, I was too tired to change rooms and just asked the hotel to change the sheets and disinfect the bathroom. Also, there is absolutely no view from the room, but the back alley of the hotel. I would definitely not stay here again.
Great New Year Location”
We chose this hotel due to its location for New Year celebrations and it was perfect. Crowds gathered on 30th for a fancy dress fun run, again on New Year's Eve to count in 2016 although the fireworks were cancelled due to security warning - they put on a laser show and there was still a good crowd to eat the twelve grapes on each strike of midnight. Then, on 5th there was a parade to celebrate Epiphany with lots of floats full of costumed people throwing sweets to the excited crowd. We watched this from our balcony (room 307) which was excellent as the crowd was up to 10 deep in the square. The location was also excellent for walking to all the historic sites and it was easy to catch a bus to other places like the City of Arts and Sciences and the beach. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful - we swapped from our original room (410) as this was rather dark - and the change was made swiftly and with good grace. We ate in the restaurant on New Year's Eve and the food was delicious with generous quantities of cava and wine - our only slight quibble was the lack of festive decorations which made the ambiance a bit dull. Altogether though, a great stay and would definitely recommend.
A fantastic hotel for the first timer in Valencia”
