A luxurious property, Melia White House Hotel is situated in Regents Park, right in the prime area on Albany Street. Guests will enjoy unfettered access to numerous historical sites as well as interesting tourist attractions. The hotel itself boasts a significant history, as during World War II it was used as a strategic pinpoint for German warplanes due to its distinctive shape, thus it was never bombed. Today, it is one of the few structures that survived the Great War and provides a unique accommodation atmosphere. The rooms continue its rich history with a traditional yet modern decorative theme that provides a uniquely English ambience. Melia White House Hotel is the perfect historical hotel for guests that want a posh area and ornate rooms.

Great location, good sized rooms”
perfect for tourists wanting to explore central London. Oxford street is a 10 minute walk away, Regent's Park is around the corner and there are great transport links nearby. Nice hotel with a cool lobby and great rooms despite some agony furniture.
Love everything about this hotel”
i just love everything about this hotel. it's located near the city center with a few steps to the underground access. the hotel staffs are very helpful, kind, and provide us with the best services and great smiles. the hotel's food is also great. i will definitely come again!
Lovely hotels with beautiful rooms ”
location of the hotel is good..relatively near oxford street, the main shopping area. however there weren't many restaurants around the area if you want to have you dinner nearby on a cold winter night.
Nice room, well cleaned every day. The drain in the bathroom was a bit clogged and the ac dropped from the ceiling, but that wasn't a real problem for us. Great location with the underground justdown the street and great places for breakfast a few minutes away :)
Beautiful hotel, wonderful experience!”
After reading reviews online, we upgraded To The Level, Davide at the front desk was extremely helpful and provided us with a budget friendly upgrade. The room was. clean, spacious and had a lovely view of London. The Level Lounge breakfast were delicious and there were multiple items to choose from. After a long day of being on the town, The Level Lounge was once again the perfect place to relax with free tapas and beverages, including but not limited to beer, wine and champagne. Last but not least, EVERY staff member at the Melia was kind, courteous and eager to help with anything and everything. Will definitely be staying at The Level at The Melia Whit House when we're in London.
Decent hotel next to Regent's Park”
The room was pretty cramped, especially the bathroom, but I suppose par for the course when it comes to similarly priced hotels in London. The beds were comfortable though the decor was a little plasticy. The location was ideal for a stroll around Regent's Park as well as within easy walking distance of sights, food and drink. There are two tube stations on the door step. There was a lot of choice at the breakfast but I couldn't help noticing the use of cheap ingredients.
Acceptable Spanish owned group offering fair value”
Check in was easy and unfortunate that the card key coder was out of action requiringa Security escort everytime you wanted to re-enter the room. The lift floor select system still works well. Standard rooms are a little cramped & an upgrade would be well worth considering. The hotel operates an auto mini bar charging system so be prepared to pay £15 if you want to use it as a fridge. Why? Our recall of the restaurant was that thebreakfasts did used to be better. Having said that the choice is well varied and perfectly adequate. Concierge staff are helpful and courteous.
Good hotel, but missing small touches.”
My stay at the Melia White House Hotel was good. The hotel is literally a very short walk to the Great Portland Street station, which makes travelling in London very convenient. The hotel room that I had was clean and bed was standard comfortable (not Wow comfortable). Besides that, I feel that the hotel is missing in little touches which I had hope a hotel of this standard could have provided (simple things like toiletries, bathrobe, complimentary bottles of water, offering umbrellas to guests staying at the hotel).
One night stay”
We had a very nice night at the hotel, the breakfast was very good too. The room was very generous and the bed enormous!! Towels were a good size and very thick and soft. The room and hotel were very clean, it was a very enjoyable stay and we would return.
Central, Comfortable & Clean”
Rooms were quiet, clean and of a superior quality. Staff were friendly and solved minor issues very quickly. We did not use the dining facilities, but they appeared to offer something for everyone. (note breakfasts seem expensive). We had Four rooms and all were of the same standard on different floors. We will stay here again, depending on price and circumstances.
Short and sweet.”
This is our 3rd stay, and each time we suffer similar issues, namely noise. Sound insulation does not seem to be one of the areas improved with recent renovations, and you can hear both street noise as well as any party happening in the hotel from your room. We've complained, and even asked for rooms in higher floors, but the problem persists. As much as we like the hotel, not sure that we'll try again.
Five star treatment for a three star price”
We had a really enjoyable stay at the White House. Sharing a spacious, comfortable Junior Suite between three of us proved to be excellent economy and the additional bonus of access to the Level Lounge was much appreciated for post-shopping drinks and a great breakfast, without the queues, in the morning. Whether this was a special treat or part of the standard suite package, I didn't ask but it was a nice gesture either way! Attentive staff, speedy check-in/out away from the large tour group queues...our only gripe was the unusual lift system, which baffled most people we encountered and made travelling between floors a slow process. Otherwise fab, would definitely come again and recommend to others.
Very good experience! The staff was friendly, room was spacious, equiped with everything one could need. The hotel is located next to two tube stations and just opposite the Regent's Park, so it's a great place to stay for sightseeing!
Clean and comfortable”
we had a wonderful stay. the first impression as we entered was really great. the place is clean and neat and so spacious. as we check into the room, we were really impressed. we had had dinner at the dinner downstairs and enjoyed it totally. th only concerned we had is the the cctv is really too soft to hear. it would be perfect if there is a swimming pool.
4 nights stays at the hotel, the staffs are commendable and extremely polite and helpful, a big applause to the staffs department. The room is a bit small but overall clean. We stay in the classic room although i cant really tell whether its consider old or classic. During the final night the fire alarm rang and we had to run down out of the hotel, unfortunately there was no staffs to greet us outside. But we were given a good explanation of the situation at the lobby. Overall pleasant.
The hotel was very nice, good location”
The hotel was smartly furnished. lots of Spanish staff and guests. Not a problem to us.£15 FOR A GLASS OF WINE AND A SINGLE DISSARONNO!!!!!!!.. Right opposite great Portland street tube station. 15 mins walk to oxford street and Madame Tussaud's. Regents park just round the corner from hotel. We would recommend this hotel.
Central location, real value.”
hotel location and service were real plus points. struggled with negatives; our room had an internal door which could link to the next room so on the last night we could hear the folk next door chatting for a bit, not a massive deal but worth considering; also the tv is all on demand which looked priceyto get, amazing how not being able to turn on the tv for the odd ten minutes makes a difference, not great but not a must have for your average tourist like us?
Great location, lovely rooms - excellent service”
delighted with hotel - will be back. i got a great rate on agoda and the hotel did not disappoint. from arrival to check-out, staff were very helpful and welcoming. the room was lovely, spacious (even for london!), quiet and good temperature control - windows that opened as well! it's in a great location, near 3 tube stations and next to the park for walks. easy to walk down to the main tourist areas. 15 mins to oxford street.
Very comfortable hotel”
i received an upgrade and stayed in a newly decorated and refurbished room. the staff are excellent, pleasant and very professional. this hotel is part of a spanish group and the majority of the staff are spanish but speak perfect english. i am female and was travelling alone and felt safe and comfortable in this hotel.
Fantastic quality and cheap price”
A cheaper than average high quality hotel in the heart of london. 5 mins from Great Portland Street tube station making city access swift and easy. Stylish hotel with exceptional staff. Nice rooms though a little on the small side.
