4 nights in Mui Ne”
The hotel is a little bit old but if you are looking for a quiet place it is where to go. I ve been upgraded for a villa with view on the ocean, so nice to enjoy the view from the terrace every morning and evening. The staff is friendly and try to make you comfortable. The breakfast very basic but every morning I asked my yogurt and they gave me. T You don t have a direct access to the beach, need to walk about 10 mns, anyway if you stay there the best thing is to rent a motorbike. I like the location cause you are between the 2 cities so you can change the place easily for your dinner or lunch if you don’t want to eat at the hotel. The swimming pool is really big and I was alone every morning, so peaceful!

Stylish rooms in beautiful surroundings”
We stayed at Melon Resort Mui Ne for 2 nights over New Year 2012/13. The room price was fantastic value for money, especially at a time of year when prices are generally inflated. We did however have to pay for a rather pricey compulsory New Years Eve buffet, but after looking at other hotels, this seemed to be common practice for New Years Eve and still didn't make our stay too expensive as the room itself was so cheap. The food was excellent (and drinks free as part of the package on this occasion). The location felt a little far-out from the action. One evening we walked to the bars and restaurants of Mui Ne, which felt like quite a long walk. Would recommend a taxi instead (which we took the following night). The hotel itself was wonderful – well kept garden areas and a lovely pool. Very quiet and peaceful, despite the time of year! Our large villa was beautifully furnished, modern and super-clean.

Great hotel”
We loved our stay 5 star hotel with 1 star prices Ignore the negative reviews and try for yourself We have been travelling for 6 months and have been staying in £50-£200 a night hotels. Melon popped up on a flash deal thanks to our good friend agoda and we were very very very happy. Couldn't ask for more. Villa was incredible with lovely bed, terrace and shower. We didn't eat at the hotel due to not really eating at hotels as we hired scooters and cars and mui ne has unbeatable value seafood but the breakfast was nice

Very good view of the ocean”
The hotel is located on the hill side of Mui Ne, thus, it has very good view of the ocean. However, there is no private beach. If you want to go the beach, you have to take the hotel shuttle bus to a beach rented by Melon. If you have a car, you can drive to the beach by yourself. The room is large, clean, but there is no safe box in the room. There is no reading lamp either (we had to ask for one). The salt water swimming pool is very nice. There is also a playground for children. The cocktail at the bar was terrible! Overall we are happy with the stay and likely to return. However, there are numerous resorts in Mui Ne to choose from.

Great resort!”
Great resort. Quiet, great pool, clean and comfortable rooms, the staff was friendly and helpful. We had a really great time and would recommend. The resort isn't on the beach, but it's just a short walk away. It's quite far from Mui Ne though - not walkable. But it's a quick, cheap taxi ride if you want to go in for dinner, etc.

One of the best hotels we stayed in”
It was great. It was out of town (Mui Ne) so quiet but close enough to walk to the beach or into town for shopping (definetely a taxi for the return!). We had a great time at the pool and the pool bar where the staff were friendly and attentive. A very well run hotel and the staff went out of their way to be of any assistance when they were asked. The food was also very good and it's one of the few times we have had ameal in a hotel rather than go out.

Incredibly good value”
We intended to stay for one or two nights but kept extending our stay for a few more nights. The staff were fantastic and more than helpful which was from reception through to the staff in the grounds, no one could do enough it seemed to make our stay a memorable one. We were also inpressed by the location which was out of Mui Ne but within walking distance, close to the beach (across thee road), the food was very good and the rooms were spacious and self contained.

Great value for money”
We ended up extending our stay as we enjoyed it so much. It's close enough to be able to walk into Mui Ne (and taxi back with shopping) which gives you the restaraunts, beaches, shopping and anything else you may need. The staff were great and went out of their way to assist us and arrange local tours if needed. The rooms were large and very comfortable and I would be staying there again if the chance arose.

Great Hotel with very good service.”
Room is great with good quality wood structure. Toilet is clean and neat. The swimming pool is best of the best. The hotel manager (Binh) was very helpful whenever we needed help! Thanks to him to help us talk to driver who don't understand english. A bit far from Mui Ne city center.

Korean hotel, nice large rooms”
This hotel is aimed at Korean travelers; it has a Korean bbq restaurant, a Koran ginseng sure, and a Korean k-mart. It's even got makkeoli (Korean rice wine) in the mini bar. It's set right next to a golf course, and positioned slightly away from the coast, with another hotel taking the prime spot in front of it. If you are after more of a backpacker feel, you need to be further up the coastline towards mui ne beach.

Relaxing, newly built, quiet beach escape”
Melon Resort has lovely grounds and rooms, including new rooms and a very nice pool area with loungers, umbrellas and a reasonably-priced bar. Their restaurant specializes in wide variety of tasty Korean cuisine. It's not directly on the beach, but they have a free shuttle that goes to the beach or town twice a day. While the facilities were four star, the service definitely was not. During our three night stay our room was not cleaned the entire time. The first day we asked the cleaners to come back in an hour--they said okay and never did. The next morning we left the hanger on the door asking for room cleaning. Still didn't get cleaned. The rooms are all up on a hill and we didn't get help getting our luggage up and down the hill. We nearly missed our bus because the check out staff didn't manage to sell us the tickets until the bus has already gone past (despite us asking four hours earlier). Every interaction with staff was frustrating. The resort itself is lovely, so if they'd manage to train their staff a little bit better it would be a very nice place to stay.

Beautiful resort”
This was a beautiful place to stay. Rooms were huge and very clean and comfortable. Pool was position with a great view of the ocean and the food quality was excellent. The staff had very poor English which was disappointing for such a high class resort and it is also about 15 mins out of the main area of Mui Ne which was annoying if you didn't have a scooter. It is also up a hill across from the nrach do don't Ne fooled into thinking the ocean view bungalows are on the beach like we thought.

Ok Resort in Mui Ne”
We have stayed at Melon Resort at the beginning of January 2013. The landscape of the resort is nicely done. The rooms are large and equipped with a small kitchenette. The balcony is nice and gives a good view to the ocean. The resort itself is located just a bit outside of Phan Thiet (Mui Ne) and it does not have a private beach. They do offer a bus transfer to the beach but they just drop you off in the middle of the beach and you do not have any lounge chairs nor private beach. Breakfast was ok and staff friendly.

The Best hotel to stay for couples in muine”
When we saw reviewers, I hesitate but we made mind go ahead! Because of 50% promotion that resort! They are beginner so something immature but it was acceptable. When I see the swimming pool, it is fantastic, especially we can see the ocean in the room ! Generally we were satisfied...

Designer rooms spotless quiet”
Initially I was very disappointed that it was out of town and had no beach front but actually after five days in HCMC the sense of quiet was welcoming. The rooms are beautifully designed very fen shui with lovely bathroom products and a balcony overlooking the sea. There are beautiful poolside bungalows and this is an ideal hotel for people with young children - it does not front the ocean so no security risk, the large children's pool is surrounded by playground t oys and the resort is fenced in. The staff particularly the duty manager were very friendly and helpful sorting out an emergency dental appointment, offering the hotel motorbike for free and checking in with us at breakfast every morning that all was okay. As it was low season there was no buffet breakfast but you could order as much as you want off the menu which was very good perfect eggs! I still missed the beach though!

large room, good landscape with sea view”
cons: - the resort doesn't have its private beach. need to use the resort' golf cars to go to the beach. - included buffet breakfast is so far so good. - the ocean view bungalow does not have bathroom tub. - we were assigned to a twin room, instead of a double. - the resort is not near to the center of resort, also on nguyen dinh chieu street, ~1.5-2km away from the melon resort. hence, it's ok if you're on honeymoon or lazily enjoy your vacation, for the other purpose, this resort is not recommended. pros: - great landscape - quite spacing room, with good equipment. - good services. - nice pool, with sea view. - it would be better if you can choose ocean bungalow view type, since those 8 are located around the pool. for the other room types, you need to walk, not just a little bit.
