Clean room. Good value”
This hotel is good value as Pakse is an expensive town to stay. It is also a building site and so is this hotel. My room was finished and very nice. My friends had a twin which was not so nice but in due course will be renovated. The staff were not so helpful but this was mainly due to no English being spoken apart from the son when you can catch him. Pakse is a base to go off on bikes on the waterfall loop. Which is amazzing. But Pakse needs to be finished then maybes has something to offer

Nice location!!”
The location is very good. The hotel was near by the bus terminal of Pakse. But the staff couldn't understand English at all. However I can speak and listen Thai but I couldn't understand Laos at all. They spoke very fast! And didn't appropriate with who was English speaking only.

Don't do it!!!!”
the bed was alright and was clean enough, fair enough. that's about all I have to say on the positive side. On the negative, I had to look for ages for a power socket to charge things up- I finally found one in a very odd place but it was only one. there had been another where the TV sat, but that had been ripped out. secondly, it is a bit of a walk from town. oh, and the 'in-room WiFi' is not worth a thing.i was very close to reception (so close in fact that I could hear there TV at 2am!) and the only WiFi fluctuated between 0-1 bars. for some reason they'd began to build a storage cabinet attached to the wall, but the bottom corner of this is hard plastic and bent over, so when you walk near it, it slices your leg. fantastic. so anyway, I got to angry sleep and then next day woke up. was getting ready in the bathroom and found there was no running water anywhere. so I go down to reception and ask.BTW despite what agoda says, this is NOT an English speaking hotel (which is fine, I'm in Laos- but don't tell me it is if it isn't! )they just point at the guys working on pipes, point at the watch and mimics 4hrs with his hand- I had to check out in 2hrs. These guy's things were here when I arrived the night before so this was clearly a planned job- why wasn't it old there'd be no water if it was known there'd be maintenance works. I was livid. don't stay here, don't stay here, don't stay here. it's not often I leave bad reviews but this place was terrible. Add to this that the guy who showed me to my room didn't even think about helping with my bags, of which there were 4. it may not seem like a big thing, but when tuktuk drivers (who make peanuts in comparison) go to the trouble, I do think hotel staff should as well- I would! my one consolation is that because there was no running water to flush the toilet with, they'll see a physical manifestation of my opinion of their establishment when they clean the bathroom!

Motel for locals”
rooms are dirty and poorly maintained. My room had a sink with broken drain pipe and door that wouldn't open properly. We asked for another room and they gave us a room next door, but with a broken window. At least we didn't have any unwanted visitors breaking in so we accepted it. The staff don't speak any English and we had a hard time communicating with the staff. Hotel was located pretty far from the main street and was easy to get lost if you weren't careful.

Nice hotel”
Quiet location outside of city centre. But it still was pretty close. Only 20 minutes walking.

Centrally located but you have to like walking.”
Managers did not speak English and there was no communication. The mattress was well worn and it felt like you are sleeping on the springs. The price was good but not a tourist hotel.

... it was ok”
room was dingy and could feel all the springs in the bed. was not worth the price in my opinion. the staff had to be sought out if i needed anything and, not that i expect it but, they didn't speak any english . when asking them the next morning about breakfast. they just left without really saying anything and came back with some local soup dish for my wife and i to share. it was interesting anyways but think i might stay elsewhere next time :P

Not the best but price is good”
Average hotel. Wouldn't stay there again as the toilet was worn and smelly, the tv was all laos channels and the shower was low pressure. But the price was alright so wasn't expecting much. Spent an hour walking inscorching weather trying to find it with our heavy backpacks on, in the end had to resort to tuk tuk.

Please choose another one”
Yes it's convinient because of the prices but really for a couple of dollars you find better accommodation in Pakse. Just don't go

ok for a nights stay”
Only stayed one night on my way to 4000 islands. Comfortable room, slept really well. Bit far from centre but found a place not too far away to have breakfast and book onward travel.

Almost get what you pay for”
This place is cheap, but in the same way bad hair dye is cheap. You can still use it but afterwards you're going to be angry. The staff are lazy to the point of comedy , including being angry at being woken up even though they're on front desk at 8am, just saying "I don't speak English" to avoid helping and the bed linen is just remade not changed , also the room stank of chlorine and sewage. On the plus side the older generation there do try and help

HELL HELL HELL,... ABSOLUTE BLOODY HELL!!!”
Bathroom sliminess factor 10/10.... whole place was scumvile! and the staff seemed purposely difficult... I swear that I could feel each individual spring in the the bed.... I know the room rate looks cheap, but they should pay you to sleep there!

Meh”
The room smelled like feces, the water didn't work, the ac didn't work, so that was a bit confusing for the tuk tuk driver and myself. In the morning the staff went into the room at 7:30 and took my key so that was weird, and forced me to check out.
