Nice view, comfort hotel”

The view of Meno mojo is incredible, it also not far from the harbour, 5-7mins walk I think. The pizza is so good, we love it to the max. The staffs are very friendly and commited. Only thing is the breakfast which is limited to continental which is one two slices of breads, but the fresh juice and fruits do compliment it. Overall we like our stay in meno mojo and definitely will go back next time.

Mixed feelings but beautiful bungalow”

We contacted Meno Mojo before booking to request extra bed for our teen. We were given the option of 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom apartment, we chose 1 bedroom as we did not want our daughter alone at night. When we arrived we were told that the 1 bedroom was having electrical problems so we were given the 2 bedroom at no extra charge. The upstairs bedrooms are beautiful, as is the downstairs living area however the external stairs are dangerously slippery. The bathroom was really grotty it looked much older than the rest of the bungalow which was new. Each bedroom had its own toilet outside on the balcony which was also very slippery when wet. Fresh hot and cold drinking water provided. Breakfast was toast, jam and fruit. Coffee extra charge, juice extra charge everything else extra charge. Fantastic beach right on our doorstep, with a great undercover verandah for when it rains and several gazebos on the waterfront. This place should be great once its finished and the pool is built, at the moment its just a grassy heap with a couple of bungalows and a restaurant. Very private peaceful and relaxing though!

Pleasant but not good enough”

In comparison to much of the other accommodation available Mojo is pretty upmarket, however for the price I would have expected better service. One morning of our stay was a public holiday and the manager asked if we minded having breakfast a little later than usual 9am which was fine however the next day which was not a public holiday no breakfast until 10am and no pre warning, the place was deserted apart for the cleaning staff. That same day when we did eventually have breakfast at midday they only gave us one breakfast and had to return to the kitchen for the second breakfast. That evening was a total disaster we seated ourselves at dining table at 6.45pm didn't receive any attention for at least 30 mins, drinks didn't arrive and an hour later I had to go to the bar and ask for our drinks. At 9pm when our dinners had not arrived and we inquired at to when they may be ready we discovered they had lost our order. They apologised profusely however no free drinks or any attempt to make up for a day of continual poor service. We did not make a terrible fuss but in hindsight maybe we should have. The papasan chair pictured out the front is broken and has no cushion, the covered day beds need a good clean. We were given beach towels on 2nd day after asking for them. Our stay could have been better with a little more attention to service and a little maintenance. The other problem the power points are dodgy have to put pressure on the plug to get a connection with the adaptor.

amazing hotel in an amazing place”

what can I say, amazing hotel. obviously in the process of investment with additional villas being constructed but doesn't impact at all. sun loungers right on the beach and swim out 30m and you have amazing coral and fish and turtles right there! room was very clean and comfortable with AC and a fan, water dispenser as well. great restaurant and bar with the hotel, maybe additional choice at breakfast included with the room would have been better but that's just picking! would go back tomorrow in a flash! very helpful staff when we found out that our flight onwards had been cancelled.

Tranquil and relaxing”

Excellent! I could not say enough good things about this place. The only small, tiny, negative that I found was that we had to chase our servers down for our bill at the end of dinner. But in hindsight, I realize this is probably because they knew we were the only guests in the villas and were charging our food to the room. Dinner would get busy and they worked hard and I didn't mind waiting as we were relaxing and really had no where to be other than head to bed. They also didn't empty the garbages when they cleaned our room, but Im not a wasteful person and didn't mind the half full bags. Its not like they were overflowing but I do hope they changed it when we checked out as they were getting pretty full.Overall we had a great time and got to relax from all the bustle of our vacation the weeks prior. Excellent service, great location away from the harbour but not too far of a walk, great wifi and air con (Im good with fans mostly but sometimes you need to just cool the room down a bit for a short time).

The Resort is unfinished and so there is a building site at the back of the hotel (not properly hidden by a bamboo fence). The toilets smelt because the plumbing is not in full use (the staff put air fresheners over the drainage holes in the bathroom floor but it didn't mask the smell). The rooms are only cleaned if requested but with sand constantly being brought into the rooms it should have been automatic to get a daily room clean. The villas are furnished to a high standard (we had use of the only 2 villas currently built on the site). No pool and the sea is quite rough at times and with lots of coral so swimming is difficult. Snorkelling is wonderful opposite the villas. Restaurant served great local food and attracted a lot of non resident guests. The pizzas from their outdoor wood burning stove were a huge hit and of course the nasi goring was delicious. The staff are friendly and bend over backwards to be helpful. Warm and lovely people. I would go back and stay but it needs some work before its a top resort. Location is fantastic. Great bars and other local restaurants nearby.

Peaceful and picturesque. ”

Lovely. The sett g is just perfect and so tranquil. Snorkeling is great and right on the doorstep. The manager was very helpful and even sorted us out with a boat to the next island. The cleaning could have been more thorough, as not all surfaces were dusted and polished but that is the only thing wrong with this new development. Food is great and the staff were fabulous. We loved it.

Paradise ”

If you want a really comfortable villa on the beach where you can totally relax, this is it. The villas are real nice and comfortable and the staff is great. There is no WiFi in the villa, but you probably want to relax in the gazebo on the beach all day anyway. Great snorkeling directly where you are almost guaranteed to see big turtles. The restaurant serves good food.

We enjoyed our stay. Snorkeling is opposite the place. short commute to other places and can walk to the turtle point. kitchenette was useful, and we had unlimited drinking water. Sunrise is also opposite to the room, which is very beautiful and warm...

NICE ROOM, BUT POOR BREAKFAST, NO INTERNET IN ROOM”

basically, the room is nice and clean, but the breakfast which included is poor, you even need to pay for a coffee or tea for your breakfast. Not really worth that kind of prices.

It was a total disaster.First of all, when we were booking this hotel, there was no one real photo of the Villa. The truth was that the balcony was just over the kitchen, and every time the outside door is opened the smell was horrible. Then we had dirty tea cups. The "restaurant" (as it was called) is something to pay attention. Service is beyond horrible - the waitress forgot about juice twice, and they hardly speak English. And never ask them to bring bacon - i doubt that my dog would eat it.Then we were about to check-out, the manager jumped to me and in a very inappropriate way told me to hurry - no one word about how was our stay etc, in his eyes was just "get out of here as fast as you can, your time here is over".It was very sad. He even didn't say goodbye, in fact no one did, and it was the first time when i wanted to move out of here as far as i could. By the way, when i was packing my stuff, 2 guys from the room-service cleaning started to put my clothes to my bag - no comment. Never ever again!!!

Beautiful but dirty”

The property was in a beautiful location and the villa looked great.....from the outside. Was really dirty when we arrived, even after they cleaned, it was still dirty. Aircon stopped working. Food was terrible. Every order was either wrong or tasted terrible. They failed to mention that the downstairs of the villa would be used as a storage unit for towels and bedsheets for the other rooms at the resort. Surprised to be walking around the villa naked as the staff freely let themselves into the villa space, without knocking or informing us. Not worth the price, there are better places at a cheaper price with restaurants that serve better value food which tastes better. The island is beautiful and the people even more so. Visit the island, just don’t stay here.

Not worth the price”

Not the greatest experience at all for this supposed "Agoda great deal". Breakfast "included" in the price, but don't forget to bring your own tea and coffee as it was not included...very basic cleanliness, and strange constant smell in the bathroom. I would advise staying on the south part of the jetty as the beaches are nicer, and you would surely get a better value room.

A bit further away from the main beach area but otherwise we had a really nice stay. Staff is great and villa is clean and good size.

Beautiful island, good diving”

The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Food in restaurant was good, good pizza with wood oven. Hut had good location and views but AC was not great, got really hot and breakfast could be better. Nice style and idea just needs a few finishing touches especially as other places are cheaper. Overall pretty good.
