The location is perfect for travelers with car, not far from heart of the city. Our room and bathroom were spacious. There was also an accessible bathroom for my grandma. We really love staying here and will come back again.

Merchant villa is a little off the beaten path, but a great stay beautiful clean room, good breakfast. Not to much for restaurants in walking didstance,. It’s about 10 min cab ride into the old city or to nimman road. But all in all a great saty

I dont write reviews often but I can honestly say this is one of the best stays I've had in Southeast Asia. The hotel is beautiful and extremely clean and new. Only ~15 rooms and very quiet, with great staff. Free a la carte breakfast and cafe drinks every day. I think they're seriously undercharging. It is classified as 4-star but in my opinion it's nicer than so many of the 5-stars.

Not bad and very unique location and vibe. Had issues with water pressure in bath throughout stay and ordering room service was a hassle. Could be streamlined for the premium being paid.

It was a nice stay in general. The location is great (for us) - a quiet area away from big roads. The garden area is beautiful and pastoral. Many things are missing to believe that you are in a true kind of a colonial-era building, but in general everything is quite beautiful and harmonious. Two drawbacks: 1. We had a pool view room and slept without aircon with our windows open (the weather in December is perfect for that). The pool engine starts working quite early and it's very noisy. 2. The breakfasts were pretty average.

Ein sehr sehr schönes und chickes Hotel”
Die Merchant Villa liegt etwas außerhalb in Surat Thani. Dadurch ist es hier relativ ruhig und man hat einen super Ausblick auf den Wald. Im Übernachtungspreis sind ebenfalls pro Tag 2 Getränke im Café or me enthalten. Das hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Alles ist sehr sauber und ordentlich. Der Pool sieht traumhaft aus. Wir würden jeder Zeit wieder kommen!

Schönes Hotel außerhalb Chiang Mai‘s”
Sehr schön eingerichtetes Hotel, liegt etwas ab vom Schuss. Taxen brauchen meist 10-15 Minuten Anfahrt und einen Rollerverleih gibt es ebenfalls nicht in der Nähe. Restaurants sind nach ca. 20 Minuten Fußweg erreichbar.
