Lovely, quiet & friendly”
after an 8 hour drive south i found the mercure in port macquarie a very welcoming place to relax and prepare for the next leg of my journey. the room was spacious, very clean and well appointed. the staff were very welcoming and friendly. i would not hesitate in recommending the mercure as a great place to stay. i had a lovely meal from the room service menu, which arrived promptly after placing the order.

Was passing through for one night. Room was exceptionally clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff were a little casual, however it is a relaxed town and it's expected. I was extremely happy to stay and I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone looking for quality accomodation in Port Macquarie. I know there are better places to stay in Port however for the budget conscious you cannot go past the Mercure. Excellent value for money.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Mercure Centro. Had a room on the ground floor with access via our small courtyard to the pool. This hotel is in a great location, is very clean and the staff very friendly and very helpful. Speedy check in and check out.

We had agood time with walks by the sea wall which was close to the Hotel.Met many travellers from All over Australia.Certainly a return trip and stay at Mercure Centro is a must.
Great for a short stay ”
We booked this hotel for a one night stay in Port Macquarie. Room booked was the King size spa which was very spacious. Bathroom and spa were huge, nice sun drenched balcony. a bit overpriced but i used some agoda points and got it a lot cheaper.
A pleasant stay”
All in all, it was a pleasant stay at Mercure. Everything is up to the standard of a 4-star hotel. From the balcony of my room, I can catch a glimpse of the blue ocean over a multi-store car park. Very quite in the night which is quite understable as PM is such a nice and peaceful town. Staff are very friendly from the reception to the restaurant. I really enjoyed the quality dinner in the restaurant which I highly recommend to everyone. Not surprised to see all the tables are taken even after 8:30pm in a Monday night. Shame I didn't have time to check on the gym and swimming pool.

I always enjoymstaying at the Mercure Centro. Staff are efficient, rooms comfotable and access to a good restaurant and spa is a bonus.
Nice hotel”
My partner and I stayed at Mercure during a public holiday so there wasn't many stores or restaurants open but the hotel is very close to the town centre. The beach is a bit a trek to get to from the hotel.

After family bereavement we were unable to take our trip to Port Macquarie as planned. Due to our "hot deal no refund" booking, despite the circumstances the hotel was unwilling to allow us to reschedule and so unfortunately we were unable to experience either the hotel or Port Macquarie.
Excellent modern hotel”
We only stayed one night to break our trip from Queensland to ACT but found it very comfortable and in a very convenient location. The standard of cleanliness was very high and the staff very friendly and helpful. We would certainly stay there again but thought the charge for parking a bit unecessary. We have never experienced having to pay for parking at any hotel we have ever stayed at before. Not too bad for just one night but would be a bit prohibitive if staying for any length of time. Free wifi in public areas was good but would be much better if wifi access was available in the rooms which is the case in many hotels these days.

Parking should be included in your stay & the room service prices were a bit expensive but other than that extremely happy with the hotel & would definitely stay again.
very peacefull”
we arrived very early (9am) our room was ready so staff let us check in. the room was a king spa room and was huge. the hotel is very close to shopping and cafes. 15 minute walk to the beach. the hotel has plenty of parking but unlike most hotels in this area they charge per night to park.
Overnight stay”
We stayed overnight as we had a business appointment to attend next day. The king spa room was large and spacious with a minimalistic style about it. The room was clean and we had no problem with traffic noise. We ate in the restaurant which was what we expected - not spectacular but quite nice.
Good stopover hotel”
Booked in early - no problem. Hood large room with double and single bed. Small pool but good. Hamdy happy hour, good meal inthe restaurant. 10 dollars to park but no big deal
Fantastic location and very acceptable room size”
Comfortable and affordable and lets not forget that the Mecure has a good selection of Fox sports channels to choose from! The hotel pool is a decent size and well maintained. Best Eggs Benedict can be found at the Fig Cafe fronting the jetty. The fish and chips from "Off the Hook" is also worth a mention.

Enjoyable stay. Very well located for downtown. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms are comfortable and beds extremely so. Bar staff were welcoming and were quick to serve. Hotel entrance and corridors felt a bit old but the rooms were very acceptable. Only complaint was the wifi was difficult to operate and can only accept one device at a time. Otherwise Highly recommended
