Lovely room, fantastic buffet”

This is our third stay at the Mecure in Gladstone. The rooms are lovely, very tastefully decorated with everything you need for a short stay. Beds are comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. The buffet at the attached Yaralla sports club is fantastic and is what keeps bringing us back. Thanks

Good place to stop”

We were driving Brisbane to Airlie Beach and stopped one night in Gladstone. Nice hotel as it had 2 restaurants in house. Large room, clean, nice staff

I would recomend this to all business trips as its has a great location and is centralised in Gladstone CBD

Offered everything we needed for a short stay”

We arrived at the hotel early and check in was a breeze. The staff are friendly and professional and there was no drama organising a late check out. Our room was clean and comfortable with all the modern necessities. Good location close to all gladstone has to offer. We would stay again.

New hotel, clean rooms and well appointed.”

We had 2 queen beds in our room (2 ad/2 ch) and on 1 side of each bed, there was a very noticeable body shape where it is obvious that single travels always sleep on the same side. The mattresses do not seem to be turned. We could put our young children in those spots but if we shared the bed as 2 adults, it would be have annoying always rolling in the groove. At check in, we were advised that children eat free at the breakfast buffet, on check out - we were told that we needed to pay for the kids breakfast. Staff don't wear name badges so makes it harder to say who you deal with. Overall, nice hotel.

Lovely relaxing stay”

We had a lovely relaxing weekend, the room was clean & spacious with a good size balcony & great food from the Chinese Restaurant downstairs.

Good management but not much else...”

We arrived to find Agoda had not confirmed our booking with the hotel so we were lucky to even get a room. The management was good at correcting this and friendly. The first room we were given was a mess and had not been seen to, the second room had no bedding at all. The duty manager kindly moved out luggage from room to room and also gave us a free beer each at the bar while he fixed the error. But he was the best part of the stay...the room was a decent size and the bed was comfy enough. good enough movies to watch but no balcony and the view from the window was tin roofs and vent shafts. the communal terrace overlooked more roofs and was just a massive empty slab of concrete with 5.5 foot walls. we had a king privilege. we did not feel 190 for the night was worth it when the heritage in rocky is 48 bucks for not really that much less and you at least get a communal balcony with tables and chairs attached to your room overlooking a river. It's not a bad place just a let down, and not worth 190 a night.
