Great Stay!”
Location is perfect. In between Ginza High street and Tsukiji Market. The decor of the room is very cozy and designed to a fine taste. Loving the interior very much. We booked the suite since we travel with a kid. It was worth it. Tokyo metro station is very near. Lawson is walking distance and mcD is just below the hotel!

Great location in Ginza !”
The room was not big but the location of the hotel was really good. At walking distance to Tokyo station, Tsukiji market or the park surrounding the Imperial Palace. Easy access to most of the tourist spots with many subway lines around the hotel.

Acceptable”
Written in hotel policy that children stay for free when use existing bedding. However When we checked in we are forced to pay for extra bed and were given no choice. This is first disappointment. Second day amenities were not refilled and WiFi not working. Third day mineral water, tea and coffee not refilled. Bath towel also not topped up. Bad experience and we paid almost 540 sgd dollar a night. Frankly, We will never come back this hotel

Great Hotel Experience in Tokyo”
Location, Comfort, and Hospitality
The stay is beyond my expectation in a good way. First time going to Tokyo, this hotel is truly showing the eastern warmness and hospitality. From the welcoming English speaking reception, complimentary breakfast, and the overall experience staying there. The location of the hotel is very good, metro train is accessible from the basement of the hotel (it's not JR though so you'll need to pay additionally to get you to JR lines, i.e Tokyo Station. For family with children or elderly I would suggest to take Taxi from Hotel to Tokyo Station, it will cost around 1000 Yen but worth the time and effort - stair access unfortunately not stroller friendly) - access to Disneyland from this station is very easy, around the hotel you can go in walking distance area of Ginza for shopping or meals. I firstly thought the whole service and hospitality are the standard of Hotel in Japan until I went to other two hotels with the same rating and star on two other cities which totally different. This will definitely my Go To Hotel again if my family and I are back to Tokyo.

Great hotel for family travelling”
location, location, location
We always stay here. The breakfast is good quality. The room is clean in a typical Japanese hotel size. Staffs are always helpful 24/7. Location is the best. Restaurants like Joe Shanghai is just a block away. A 10 min walk will bring you to Kani Doraku (Crab restaurant). There's also a very old (more than 100 yrs) tempura/tendon restaurant. You can spend the whole day shopping in the Ginza areas. (the hotel is right behind Matsuya Ginza).

Restaurants, shopping, central
Hotel is small, so are the rooms, but quite ok if you're familiar with Tokyo hotels. Just enough room to walk around the bed. All amenities are well provided and rooms are clean. The area is very central to Ginza and easily accessible either by subway or taxi. Plenty of places to walk around and see, ie....shops. It is a nice hotel, good for business trips.

What an improvement in my stay 12 months ago”
Staff politeness, location, value for money
I always stay when I can at the Mercure especially in Japan and 12 months ago had the most appalling stay at the Tokyo Mercure vowing never to return. This hotel has really lifted its act! It is amazing value for money in the centre of Tokyo, so location is brilliant, close to shopping and restaurants. Metro station is only a short walk away. Unlike last year, the staff were polite and attentive which I could not have said about them last year. Well done Tokyo Mercure for listening to clients comments.

Best City Hotel ”
Location/Service/Restaurant
The hotel is located in the middle of Ginza where is famous as a shopping destination (you can find LV, Chanel and Apple shops 5 min away from the hotel) . Also Tsukiji market is famous as a fish market. If you want to experience Japanese 'glamorous' and 'Ordinary' life, I strongly recommend this hotel!

convenient location, comfortable, staff speaks good English
As a business hotel, it satisfies basic needs and especially internet connectivity. Not much option on tv though. Also, staff were very accomodative for stay requests as they had initially allocated a different room on a higher floor for me, unfortunately the room was not clean in time as my flight arrived early and having to rush for client meetings, I needed a room urgently to freshen up. They did their best to accomodate request and assigned a vacanted room for me

Stayed one night. Comfortable rooms which are generously sized for Tokyo. Free wifi is handy and better than many hotel chains. Excellent helpful staff with good local knowledge about food around the area; 2 excellent recommendations. No hassle checking out, leaving bags then going for shopping before coming back where taxi promptly ordered to leave well in time for haneda.

Never run out of shopping choices staying at the hotel. Near ginza and the tokyo subway lines, it is convenient to get to. Right in the heart of all the actions. Excellent and clean Hotel”
Walking distance to metro, in Ginza and able to walk to tsukiji market
Since the highlight of the trip was the tsukiji market, we wanted to find a hotel that was not too far from the market so we can walk to the market in the morning without worrying about transport in the wee hours. It wasn't exactly near, but it was a manageable 15 mins walk while situated in Ginza itself. We had to pay more on the spot though as we were not aware that the same room has different charges for a single traveller and 2 travellers. We thought charges go by room instead of pax.
