I felt very comfortable and taken care of”
When I travel to a new city and not sure about the standards in hotels, I prefer to go with mid-range hotel chains, like Mercure for example. Mercure Manila Ortigas facilities looked much better value for price than most hotels in this price range and area - comfortable bed, great bathroom facilities. The hotel occupies some of the floors in a tall business building, so the reception area and the floors with rooms are a bit disconnected, but staff is very approachable and helpful just a call away. The building concierge downstairs is helpful with pulling an uber or a taxi. The location is excellent for business, shopping or leisure (hip eating area Capital Commons and Kapitolyo is a short ride away).

Comfortable and clean!”
First time staying in Mercure Ortigas. I've to say that I am impressed and happy with my stay for two nights. The property looks still new and clean. Staff were friendly too. Good size of the room and bathroom. There's Family Mart nearby. SM Megamall is also within walking distance (about 10 minutes walk). Easy to get Uber or Grab in that area. Will choose Mercure Ortigas again when I am back in Ortigas area.

Convenient business hotel”
The new Mercure Manila Ortigas is a smart, conveniently located hotel. The room was spacious enough, and nicely kitted out and staff were friendly and helpful. When I tried the restaurant it was extremely quiet, but the food was good. My only suggestion would be to provide more information in the room re. the amenities available within the hotel and nearby.

located right at the center of ortigas district. very convenient and near major shopping malls (sm megamall, the podium, robinsons galleria, estancia mall and ayala 30th mall) in pasig and mandaluyong city. room is spacious enough to fit a family of 4 (parents + kids). front desk staff are very accommodating. buffet breakfast is just average. overall it was a good choice to stay at this hotel.

ALMOST perfect”
For the money, a great stay and a great hotel, but just two things keep it from being perfect and may prevent me from coming back. First, the room is freezing. I mean 17 or 18 degree all day long and turning the aircon on or off has no impact. I called maintenance up and they explain that the cold air coming through is cold air left in the HVAC and all they could do is manually close the vent (but then I couldn't reopen it without calling them). Not only did the arctic air come from the vent, but someone somewhere was smoking and that lovely aroma filled my room several times. Second, the drapes don't fully close, so there's no way to keep the morning sunlight fully out of the room. This last point is purely personal, but, as a vegan, it would be great if there were some more satisfying vegan options on the restaurant menu. On the positive side, great gym, relatively good (this is Manila) Internet, great location, very clean, great bed, nice and responsive staff, and a great price.

Very Nice”
We had a nice and quiet New Year celebration at the Mercure. The staff were kind enough to allow us an early check-in as well as late check-out. Food was nice as well. However, I hope they have an area that allows viewing of the cith skyline especially for occasions such as New Years or at least allow guests to access their restaurant balcony even if it's past operating hours because of the said occassion. Overall, I would recommend the hotel still and would definitely return.

Great hotel”
We booked the day before at a good rate better than Accor members rates. Hotel was difficult to find at night as building is narrow and has small signage. Reception and dining is on 2nd floor. Our room and service were excellent. We ate at the restaurant and had room service both meals were good. Breakfast was adequate. The hotel is in a good safe location we were able to walk at night from the shopping centre. There are small convenient stores close by and a money exchanger in rear street. Only down side is the horrendously slow traffic of Manila leave plenty of time to get to the airport.

Good run for money”
Prime location for a modern and quiet hotel per the international standards. Thick carpet, good bed, double glazing, complete darkness in the room, fast WiFi and fast lifts. Only down note is the A/C that can’t be switched off unless you jump the relay / fuse on the electric board. Nevertheless, there is still a noisy fan running above the entrance door, even after having killed the master jumper on the electric board. Price is in regard to what you get. Fair deal.

Great location and Quality hotel”
Mercure, overall, is one of the budget hotels with the best and quality furnitures and designs that you usually get with 5 star hotels. The rooms are smaller but you get everything needed to feel that comfortable feel. Unfortunately, no view and no swimming pool. But hell, who would complain woth such a nice place.

As it is anew hotel, taxi driver a bit lost getting there. As the name of Mercure normally is a big hotel. This one seems to be smaller carring its name, however its a new hotel around the blok. But a distance away to a shopping and eatery place. Eventhough in a good area but a distance away to/from the airport. Spare ample time to go to the airport.

Clean, New & Spacious”
We were expecting a straight up business hotel, but it was a pleasant surprise that the room actually looked better in person than in the photos shown here on Agoda. The decor was ok, although the airconditioning in the room was a bit warm at times. The security and concierge staff were good, though the front desk personnel were not particularly welcoming during check in or check out. We stayed during Mother's Day weekend, but no special gesture was extended by guest services. They had a good breakfast buffet, the selection was ok and service was great. The restaurant manager even offered to serve 2 off-the-menu dishes just for us to try their in-house breakfast specialty. Overall, our stay was pleasant and relaxing. We enjoyed their room service also, the dishes were not bad though a bit pricey for the small serving size.

... but that's it. I have expected a little more when I have heard the name MERCURE. Room is small, breakfast is ok but not outstanding. Staff is nice and helpful. Area is accessible. Say: other hotels will give you more value for the same price.

DIGITAL aircon -> always cold, great food, clean room, terrible traffic”
Location seems to be great, but to get anywhere by taxi is a huge hassle. Always a big traffic jam in-front of hotel. It is more advisable to walk out of traffic. Rooms are chilly and it is impossible to effectively control the aircon. All of us got sick (4 people) due to it. On the other side hotel has a great staff an amazing breakfast - really french style. Rooms are middle size (not big) and clean and new. Gym is opened from 6 am and there is no pool in hotel. To get to shopping mall is 600 meters walk.

Location-its about a 5min walk to sm mall Staff-are wonderful and friendly especially they guys who opens the doors for us. You guys always have a smile on your face. Room-nice and simple My stay in these hotel was just wonderful.

It's comfortable ”
I enjoyed our stay. I loved the breakfast selection and the hotel was accommodating when we requested for a late check-out. Although I found the air-conditioning quite inadequate especially during the afternoon heat and there was no way to adjust it for some reason. It's minor thing.
