Refurbished in 2008 in a contemporary design manner, this property in Perth's central business district is close to shopping and entertainment. Spacious guestrooms and new furnishings make for a sophisticated mid-city stay at the Mercure Perth, less than a 10-minute walk from the train station and ferries. The hotel's position on Irwin Street makes it convenient to Hay Street and Murray Street malls where guests can make use of the city's department stores and an array of pubs and restaurants. Also the recent recipient of a facelift is the hotel's rooftop area, featuring a heated pool and spa and sunny open terrace, while a similarly remodeled bar provides a cool environment for aperitifs. Executive travelers will appreciate the hotel's adept business and conference facilities. All things considered, Mercure Perth is excellently located, well appointed, and reasonably priced.

Lovely, comfortable room”
I chose the Mercure because of it's perfect location in Perth city, and the wonderful deal on Agoda that made it affordable for a solo traveler. It is a beautiful hotel, incredibly comfortable, an in an impeccable location. The rooms were immaculately clean, an the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, and in a great location to explore Perth. I would recommend this hotel whole-heartedly.
morsuepj”
We have stayed in Mercure hotels many times especially in France and have become accustomed to a fairly high standard. The Perth Mercure Hotel did not dissapoint us being typical of the excellent service we have come to expect from Accor Hotels. We had flown in from Hong Kong arriving late in the evening, tired after our eight hour flight and needing a comfortable bed for the night. Our stay was most agreeable enabling us to leave our luggage at the hotel during the day whilst we explored the city before travelling on to our sons home at Freemantle in the evening.
No thrill, reasonably priced hotel for business travel in CBD”
Mercure is located right on Hay Street in Perth CBD. There were quite a few restaurants nearby that are open late. As of end of 2016, there is a construction site right across for a new westin hotel. Nearby there is a City of Perth Parking lot which makes it easy to park overnight. Hotel will charge 25 AUD for 24 hours. Hotel generally in good shape. Staff were very helpful. Good cleanliness. We were traveling with 2 young children. Guest Laundry had 2 washers, 2 dryers. But half were broken.
Good location, and good price”
Handy for us as myself and friends were attending a conference at the mercure. Suited us better than staying at another hotel, even though breakfast was not included in the price. Location was good , central perth, close to shops and restaurants. Nice to finish conference and not have far to go.
fabulous holiday”
this is our first time in perth and we like the hotel so much. the 2 double bed can fit us 4 of us in the room comfortably. the beds were nice and all the basic things were provided. one night that we called to have extra pillow and towel and the housekeeping staf was very prompt to get the stuff for us. thank you for mercure you have make our stay enjoyable.
Mercure Hotel, Perth”
Centrally located close to downtown Perth, the Mercure is well situated with a short walk to shopping and dining. The hotel itself is clean and up to date, with friendly staff at the front desk. The rooms are spacious with all the amenities that one would expect. Internet access is available, however the pricing structure is not very favourable. The pricing starts at A$10 for an hour, rising to A$25 for just three hours. It is not possible to buy more than three hours, and as a frequent business traveller I would consider this level of fees to be high.
great location, closes to perth city centre,”
we only stayed overnight with our teenage grandson, and thoroughly enjoyed the accomodation, we all made good use of the lovely rooftop pool, sauna spa and gymnasium. the staff very friendly and obliging. we would definately recommend this hotel, because of its closeness to the city centre, as well as many other attractionseg: swan river, bell tower, south perth ferries, perth mint and so many others.
Good location”
This hotel is specially well located. It's very easy to get into the city center and to take any of the free buses available in Perth. It's 10 mn walking to the ferry boats to the Zoo and 10 mn to the train station to Fremantle too. The breakfast was normal and they offer 3 different options/prices according to what you want to eat.
Mercure”
Excellent night at Mercure we were going to a concert in Perth and needed something close to the River. MErcure has a great location and it provided us with everything we needed even our late night snacks!!
Affordable and comfortable”
My wife and I both enjoyed our short stay at the hotel, the check in procedure was fast and efficient and the room offered all you need for a short city stay, pricing for Perth was very reasonable as it is normally very over priced especially mid week stays.
Great hotel, good rooms, bathroom a bit small.”
Great hotel, great location, good, friendly and prompt staff, the rooms were well appointed, TV slightly small but the ipod dock was great, we enjoyed what perth had to offer, the scenery around kings park is beautyfull, transport around perth is a bit out dated and some of the timings were a bit inconvinient but all in all it was a lovely stay in perth.
A Good Hotel in a Great Location”
The Mercure Hotel in Perth is in a great location for the walking tourist. Within 5 minutes we could walk to the harbor to catch our cruise to Freemantle. Or within a 5 minute walk the other direction we would be in a wonderful pedestrian only shopping mall area full of outdoor cafes and wonderful courts and statues. It was only about a 10 minute walk to the central train station which provided service to all of the surrounding area. The staff were always courteous and went out of their way to help us. The rooms were clean, comfortable, spacious with extremely comfortable beds. The price of the food was the main drawback. Though there was a pool, it was located behind glass panels on the roof and didn't really encourage lounging.
Value for money”
super location, friendly service at the start. agoda gave a super deal for 2 double beds, with choice of pillows and in a decent sized room.but our west wing room did not have individually controlled central heating/aircon which is available in the east wing rooms. also our bathroom could do with some renovations. otherwise, who said perth is expensive for the amenities that we got at this price? would definitely stay here again.
Great location nice hotel”
a nice clean hotel with comfortable beds. strategic location in perth cbd area which made it very convenient to travel around the city area. only 5 minute walk to hay st mall & murray st mall. there are always taxis available on the taxi stand in front of the hotel. we would definitely stay there again on our next visit.
A clean and good hotel.”
The Mercure Perth hotel was just what I expected, a nice hotel in a good location in the city. The furnishings felt fresh and clean. This is a good standard hotel room, which stopped just short of a luxury hotel (a balcony and better views may have pushed it over the top.)
Friendly staff, comfy room, tidy and clean”
It was a very nice hotel centrally located in Perth city. The room is so clean and tidy and is just very cozy for a couple to stay. The staff were very helpful and nice too. We will definitely go back if we have a chance.
Great value, would recommend highly.”
very satisfied with ease of reservation and room was true to description when booking made online with agoda. would recommend this hotel and have no hesitation to stay at the perth mercure again. we travelled from country wa and would have appreciated complimentary caprparking for hotel guests, however the valet parking fee was comparable to overnight carparking rates charged elsewhere.
solid and reliable hotel ”
this is my second time staying in mercure perth. i am again not disappointed with the professional albeit cool treatment by the reception staff. i arrived at the hotel at about 8pm after driving from margaret river. the hotel reception wanted to arrange valet parking for my vehicle at aud28. when pressed, he reluctantly said that i could also parked my vehicle overnight at any of the nearby street parking which is non-payable after 6 pm. other than that slight glitch, the location of the hotel was superb being close to the shopping and eating venues.
Great location with decent sized rooms”
the hotel is conveniently located in the cbd area of perth. the size of the rooms are big and the condition is very good and clean. the staff are friendly and proactive. the beds are good and they also have a pillow menu. their tv is a bit small for a room of its size though.
Pleasant Stay In Perth”
We stay here for 4 nights and we are happy with the location and the services provided. The staff were really helpful and the environment of the hotel was so clean and nice.extrememly comfortable. The pool is in the other wing of the hotel relatively small but ok. I will definately come back to the same hotel for my next trip to perth.
