Hospitality ”
We arrived at the evening in the Hotel Mercure by taxicab. The taxicab was a very friendly woman. We still could order at the Hotel restaurant and we were very friendly served by Martina. She took our order while we were waiting at the loges. As a dessert we received a little plate full of cookies. We definitely recommend this Hotel. It's very close from the airport (5 min), friendly staff, very spacious rooms. And the pizza mmmm.....

Early flight to USA”
After a 14 day stay in Italy we stayed our last night in Rome here. We had a early morning flight home so decided to stay here. Staff was wonderful and even held our luggage until we could check in. During this time we continued to sightsee around Rome. Our room was perfect and dined on one last pizza while in Italy. Shuttle to airport was quick and driver was very professional and kind. Would definitely stay here again/

Good breakfast, mediocre dinner and dinner service when taken in their restaurant. I'd go for their bar food next time for a dinner. Excellent reception and and shuttle service. Room was clean and modern with large TV.

Good but needs upgrading”
We took this hotel to rest before our flight the next morning. It is quite close to the airport, not so much to the city of Rome, which we didn't care to visit this time. The room was comfortable, but the sofa bed was not made up for our daughter in the evening When I tried to call the reception nobody answered and I had to go there myself. Some fixtures are old and need to be replaced: for instance, the bidet spout came undone in my hand. Or an electric socket was dangling out of the wall. The breakfast is minimalistic but ok. Be aware that the shuttle to the airport costs EUR 6/person including children! The best part of the hotel is definitely the swimming pool, which is so refreshing on a hot summer day.

Hello I had a reservation to the hotel for the 7/26/2022. That reservation made to use a room just for few hours. We get to hotel at 23:30 with 3 suitcases and 2 hang bag, for to leave at 3:30. It mean to have shower, organize the suitcases, rest 1-2 hours, drink coffee, and leave. After we booked there were a problem with one of the elevators, so the told us to use the second elevator. But the second was not able to work because the first that not work was faulty in the reception floor. To my explanation I get an answer to wait, which is meen until somebody would come with the elevator to that floor (it was 15 before midnight). When we got to the room we open the suitcases and plan for shower. There was not even one towel at the room. So we wait until the brings towels. When we get into the shower it was impossible to have shower because there were no cold water (only hot). We call again and we asked to wait. Then, the told us that the change the room to another floor(even with no chacking because the Absolutly knew about that problem when the gave the room). We had to dress again to pack the whole things and to move to a new floor. If until now it not enough, also at the new room there was no towel. So I went back to the room before and brought the towels. Do you think that the peace had come!!!!!!!!! I discovered that there is not Tea/coffee maker so I went back to the previous room to bring Electric Kettle. Do you think that the peace had come!!!!!!!!!. Even here there was only hot water, so we gave up the shower. we had left less then 2 hours to get a rest with no shower. And now the last: before going to the airport we intended to make our coffee. what we discovered: surprised!!!! After I brought Electric Kettle, we have how to boiled water for coffee but there were no coffee and not glasses. That is my Experiences from that hotel. Not recommended.

Stay away”
Hotel staff were extremely rude. The beds were horrible and the air conditioning for the entire hotel wasn't working. We were on the top floor and it was sweltering.

Horrible experience”
The bathroom was dirty (with a lot of strangers’ hair in the shower), only 1 towel was provided (2 people staying in the room) and had to ask for more towels, bare minimum room and service. Bed was very uncomfortable and hard. Not recommended.

Perfect location to be close to airport”
The Leonardo da Vinci Rome Airport Hotel is close enough to the airport but at the same time only about 30mins away from the city. As I needed a 2 day stopover I found this hotel to be the perfect choice. The restaurant and bar was pretty good and the breakfast provided was a nice range of hot and cold selections. The gym equipment was in good condition and easy to use. The swimming pool was nice and big. If you need to visit a local store for supplies. I found a local grocery store only a 6 minute walk. Just turn right out of the driveway and walk straight you will reach this store in about 6 minutes. The shuttle bus service they provide for a small fee to then city was convenient as we were dropped off and pickup after we spent a day visiting the Colosseum. If you are looking for a hotel for a short stay, Leonardo da Vinci Rome Airport Hotel is a nice choice.

Close proximity to FCO airport €6 transfer shuttle”
*Departing Rome hotel stay* After reading reviews of expensive taxi fares i decided to take public transport from rome city center termini station which was super easy. If you plan to stay at fco da vinci airport hotel before taking a flight the next day you can either take a €4 bus to fco airport or the train which i found easier €14 to fco which takes you to terminal 3 departures, then you just have to take the stairs downstairs to arrivals and follow the signs to hotel shuttle number 24. The shuttle is €6 which they record your name and charge to your hotel account. The hotel may have been a 4 star in its day but it would be a 3 star now entirely based on the condition of the hotel rooms and amenities for example: scratched chipped paint on walls, furniture and signage, stainless steel tap handle worn and rusted, smelly carpet on 3rd floor, broken gym equipment etc. The bar menu was reasonably priced for a hotel i suppose at €10 a salad (generous portion), €2.50 cappuccino, €7 wine, the dining restaurant is more expensive. Overall it was clean, safe and the staff were friendly, good for a quick stopover near the airport at an affordable cost.

Great hotel in close proximity to Fiumicino Airpor”
We had a one night stay after a long international flight prior to our departure elsewhere. The hotel provides a very good shuttle bus service to / from Fiumicino Airport. All of the staff speak very good English and were only too happy to assist. I had emailed in advance as my travelling companion had special needs - all of these were actioned exactly as requested. I would recommend this hotel to anybody needing a good hotel near the airport...it also appears to have ample parking for those with rental cars, etc.
