The property once would have been quite nice but is very tired with threadbare raggedy carpet on the outside stairs. The room was just clean although underneath the bed had not been vacuumed. I overheard someone complaining to the - grumpy - manager that their room was not clean. On the plus side breakfast was adequate and plentiful, they have a shuttle services which is useful although I used local transport and they did fix the heat in the room which had been turned up to 32 degrees. I was scheduled to stay another night but changed my booking.

Friendly staff & service, but, sub-par facilities...”
The staff was very friendly & helpful, but, the hotel itself was not what we expected given the amount we paid for our one night stay. The bathtub had dirt in the bottom of it, sink faucet was VERY loose, bedside lamp did not work correctly, & the pillows were very flat. Despite these negatives about the room, though, our stay was not unpleasant because the incredibly helpful & friendly staff made up for it. When we asked for an extra pillow, it was gladly provided & when we mentioned the noise coming from the room above, the gentleman quickly went up & spoke to them & we did not hear anything else from there. The shuttle driver (hotel owner?) was friendly and very helpful.

Dirty noisey horrible”
Words cant describe what a truely horrible place this is. The bathroom in like a linen cupboard. The breakfast is aweful! No customer service. The carpet is filthy in room. Do yourself a favour and dont go there.

Very sad, tired room in need of repairs....”
The sink stopper was non-existent. Baseboard near shower was peeling off the wall. Continental breakfast consisted of hard boiled eggs, toast, bad coffee and canned fruit juices with the taste of tin. Free parking :) Within walking distance of Peggy's Restaurant which we were unable to try but had nice reviews. Complimentary shuttle service was probably the single best thing about this sad motel. The blanket had multiple holes in it and there was no hot water for my husband's shower after I showered. There was more hot water when our son showered in the morning. The coffee was SOOO BAD that our son threw it out and bought some at the train station. He used it to warm up his thermos for the purchased coffee. When we left, he didn't even bother with it and went across the street to the espresso truck and waited behind a couple of trucks in the cold rather than take the complimentary coffee at the motel.
