You get what you pay for
1. cheapness 2. location (walking distance to centre) 3. communal areas
We stayed at Meunna Backpackers Hostel two nights. we booked a private room. You get what you pay for - the room is fairly basic with two fans and a bed, as well as a window which is essentially a hole in the wall. It was very quiet, but the bed was like sleeping on a plank of wood so not the best night's sleep. The showers heads are nice, but all communal showers, which makes you wonder if someone is going to burst in at any moment! The internet was really good, and the staff were friendly enough. I would say it fufils its purpous if you are looking to meet people, or just budget accomodation. If you want something a bit nicer, with a higher standard of cleanliness I would keep looking. We used their 'laundry service', which was the guy taking our laundry down the road and charging 5,000 kip more for the privilege.

Don't stay here if you are a couple
Good place for single backpackers but not for the couple, the double bed is very uncomfortable, you can feel metal bars...
The staff was nice and helpful. It is a great place to meet other backpackers however don't stay here if you are a couple. There are two double bed rooms available however they are without a bathroom, the bed is very uncomfortable and the room is not too clean. There are better places in LP for that price available.
