Great Birthday Surprise!!”
Booked MGM Cotai for my boyfriend's birthday last week, and have let the hotel know that we would like some arrangements for that. It was definitely the best birthday arrangement have experienced from a hotel. We entered the room with Happy Birthday balloons on the bed, a lego-made photo frame gift with our life photos inside (the hotel has asked me for photos in advance). And they also greeted us with a mini chocolate cake(yum!), a birthday card and fruits when we return from dinner. Hotel room itself is comfortable and spacious, breakfast buffet is awesome. The only problem is that the receptionist mentioned about the birthday surprise during check-in (out of our surprises), so ask your friend to stay away during check-in. Would definitely recommend whoever would like to celebrate birthday in Macau to stay with MGM Cotai!

Fantastic Stay! Unforgettable Experience! kudos to Jessica Cai who is front dest duty manager,she is friendly and helpful. As I was celebrating my Husband birthday with my family at MGM Cotai, We were offered a free upgrade to a resort suite and the room was spacious. Everything matches up with a five-star hotel expectation. They gave me a very lovely birthday cake and lovely cholocate.The resort room is very big ,the bathroom is great,and the resort great location connecting to the shopping mall and restaurant ! So very convenient,Thank you all for your kindness. I will be definitelly back to your hotel. Finally,There is a staff member at the Tria spa who is impolite and hopes that the hotel will improve next time!

This is the massive entertainment property with great hospitality. First of all the reception staff is very polite with helpul. That is your wonderful hotel experience starts. The hotel room is nice and clean so it will guarantee your comfortable private time. Unlike Las Vegas MGM, the drinks including some beers in the refrigerator are all free. The restaurants in the hotel provides very friendly and professional service. They explained some unfamiliar chinese foods to me. I made my trip with limited budget, but I still enjoyed my stay a lot and every staff members in this hotel treated me like a guest.

We would like to thank you for an amazing stay. The hotel staff was professional and eager to see our needs. They went as far as to extend our check out until 14:00. From the door man to front desk we were immediately cared for. The room was spacious and elegant. No expense was spared. The room opened up to a beautiful skyline view of the Macau Tower. We also appreciate the large TV's and timely deliver from the staff on all of our in house orders. With wide open swimming and spa area the emenities were very relaxing. I personally loved the stainless chair in the spa area. The view while swimming and relaxing was breathtakingly beautiful. I will recommend your hotel and look forward to my next visit. The rooms, hotel, decoration, restaurants are all very nice. Not too crowded as compared to the hotels next door (Sands Cotai). However, the soft skills of the staff needs to be upgraded. Short story: I booked 2 rooms under my name (because I settled using my credit card) and asked the hotel if I could add my father's name to my room (double beds) because he will be checking in first. Hotel's reply was absolutely no because it was early bird so I cannot make any amendments. So same goes for the other room which was supposed to be for a family friend and her husband. One staff even replied something along the lines of paying extra I think. I wasn't exactly changing the dates, I would still arrive later that night, but I just wanted to make sure they are settled first. After many emails, they replied and said OK. So if you are booking multiple rooms, I would suggest you have all the names sorted waaaaayyyy in advance to avoid chaos.

Brand New Chain Hotel, but not professional staffs”
Regular Service is ok, but they can't solve any problems as they could do. Customer had to wait and keep checking the Status. For my case, i got wrong information from AGODA about my room type, MGM Staffs can't help anything better. Even, my friend forgot her stuffs after she checked out, i have all documents to get those stuffs back for my friend, MGM Staff gave me a wrong email, can you imagine that? What's happen here for service?

Quality room but bad experience ”
When we are taking a rest in the room, and their cleaning service staff knock the door few times, then they open our door without our permission. This is a very scary for me and my girlfriend. So, I would not suggest any people choose MGM Cotai for any Macau Trip

We booked a month ahead of our stay, but it was almost canceled in the last minute due to the delay of MGM opening. It was really headache to find another hotel, especially the big holiday season. Finally we got the room, but I had been extremely stressed, but there was no compensation to this. We arrived in the hotel around 3pm, but our room was not even ready, so we wasted another hour. Again, no compensation. The room was nice and clean in general. Housekeeping was good, staffs were nice. However, the hotel needs more entertainments especially comparing with its neighbors. Casino was fine, but not very well organized, for example, we had to wait for hours to get a table in the noodle place in the casino even though we could see hundreds of empty tables. Except those few inconveniences, the hotel was quite good in general.

we arrived at 3:30 pm and there was a long queue checking in. 1) why aren't more staff deployed for checking in or hotel management should improve the checkin process 2) the room was still not available. this was not acceptable. we came back at 10 p.m.. we were upgraded to suite, that's good. but I wonder if that's a compensation for the bad checkin experience or just because the hotel was full. swimming pool was out of service but we were not informed when we made the booking.

Would help the customer to book the restaurant outside the hotel. The explanation of the CS for food delivery and the spa services. Can upgrade to twin bed room without extra money. Can enjoy the spa facilities even though the services enjoyed for each person is less than the minimum requirements.
