    Excellent location and service”

Close to airport, bus stations along the strips and other shops

MGM grand hotel gave you a warm welcome upon arrival at reception. However, they has been wrongly assign a room which has been used by others upon my arrival. The hotel staffs provide rapid rearrangement and I can change to a new room in the same floor without proceeding back to lobby reception. I have been stayed in the grand tower. The mattress, bathroom are perfect. The electronic control shades are particularly amazing and suitable for both day and night. The MGM grand is really close to shops, restaurantes and bus stops and you will find this place is one of the best to stay in Las Vegas.

    Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!”

    Luxurious, clean, friendly

if you're planning a stay in vegas, do yourself a favor and get a celebrity spa room at the mgm grand. the room we had was huge. it had a separate bed and lounge area and an absolutely massive bathroom. the hotel staff were friendly and the wifi was free and super fast. there were all kinds of restaurants and bars located throughout the hotel and all served fantastic food. the hotel itself is located on the strip and in walking distance to all of vegas' main attractions. can't say enough good things about the mgm.

    Excellent ”

When got there we got offered an upgrade for $15/night from the West wing to the Grand wing and the room was fantastic. We got told it had views of the strip but i think that was a stretch. But still, an amazing room. Everything is overpriced but its just the same as every other casino and everything else on the strip, so no surprise really. Only downside is (even though we knew this at booking) the hotel is at one end of the strip, so its quite a walk to get to some of the other major casinos. Ooh and the taxis from the airport do not enjoy only getting such a short fare as its so close to the airport, so be prepared to get harassed for an extra tip. In fact, all taxi drivers we had in Vegas were rude, so its probably fitting. Definitely a great hotel though.

    My Favorite!”

The MGM is my favorite hotel to stay in Vegas! It is centrally located on the strip and the place is amazing. Beds are super comfy, overall the room is absolutely amazing. I stayed in the Grand Queen Suite and probably won't do anything less than that anymore because of the great stay. The room was ready by 9 am. The MGM Grand Buffet is a great price and great quality food. Hakkisan is a great nightclub!

    Location

the mgm grand hotel is a great place to stay and the staff are very friendly. the hotel is located at the beginning of the strip, but is only a walk away from everything. the hotel rooms are very clean and the beds were very very comfortable especially the beds in the king size rooms, what you see in the photo's is pretty much what you get. the first night we stayed there we woke up to saws above our room, they were doing some kind of construction, however the staff were polite enough to move us that morning to another room and were very apologetic.

Casino Location and Room with a View

I love this Hotel & Casino! It is everything you want in Las Vegas. Entertaining, Casino, Gorgeous Room, Nightlife and the MGM had it all. Only warning I have though is they wont let you use the fridge in your room for personal items. We had been travelling on the road for 6 weeks so had a bit of food, milk and drinks that we had been carting around in an esky during the day then our hotel room fridge at night but not at MGM. It would cost $25 p/day to hire a fridge or a ridiculous 'fine' if you take out whats in your room fridge and put personal things in there. Just a warning for you. But, that being said, I think its probably the same everywhere in Las Vegas and this hotel i would highly recommend, its divine and so exciting just to hang around the casino.

Good value hotel but a bit far from the action”

Large room, good facilities and restaurants

Stayed at the MGM for 3 days while we were in Vegas. Overall happy with the experience BUT I would say that if you are in Vegas to shop and see the sites this hotel is a bit far from the centre of the Strip where all the other hotels and major shopping venues are. It is literally at the bottom of the Strip and requires a long walk through the very seedy main road to get back to the Hotel. Apart from that though, the Hotel facilities are decent and it helped that we upgraded our room as this was quite large with OK views. Personally I found the hotel a bit too big but I understand that's what Vegas is about so it really isn't a criticism per se.

Very good hotel in a fake city”

Good location Very fast check in process Casino in the premises Complimentary parking
    Smoking allowed at the casino

I know, somebody may not agree when I say that Las Vegas is a fake city. At least MGM is less fake than Excalibur and Caesar's Palace, it is a very good and comfortable hotel with a very crowded casino where unfortunately smoking is permitted. We really appreciated the fast check in (10 counters open!) and the room service, incredibly fast considering the huge number of rooms.

BIG Vegas Hotel - Excellent for a short stay!”

On the strip! Nice NEW Rooms!

Its VEGAS and the MGM is definitely a landmark. Its at the end of the strip near New York New York and others like PH, Cosmo etc. The room was amazing, new and had all the bells and whistles (not to forget the great view) Check in staff was friendly though charged us for an early checkin which still wasnt ready at that time. So they gave us complimentary tickets to the cirque du soleil show KA (Which I highly recommend!!) and bottle of champagne (which never arrived). Overall MGM is GRAND - they are doing renovations at the moment which you see some areas are closed and the lions have gone! Last thing - which made me mad! On checkout I had to pay $56 for a facilities fee - which I questioned considering I didnt use any minibar or services provided by MGM! Why didnt they just include it in the reservation price??

Big hotel, great pools, great casino

Our stay at the MGM grand was amazing! The hotel is really nice and all my friends loved it. It was my 21st birthday and we went to wet republic (the adult pool party at the hotel and to hakkasan the newest club in Vegas!) when we got tired of partying we just hung out around the casino and gambled. There was a fitness center available as well as spa, shopping stores, food court, it's all just very convenient.

    Exceptional”

Needed some time off of LA, So decided to go to Vegas. First off prices are amazing right now and I’ve never been to MGM because it’s pretty up their with the price. When I arrived there was free parking sweeetttt!! And I was able to check in early with Lea who was the sweetest lady at the front desk. When I got to my room it had a steal that the room was clean and sanitized and a poach with two masks and sanitizer which was a nice touch with what’s going on in the world. I would recommend this hotel and come back as well!

Awesome Hotel with lots of great amenities!!!”

Casinos, Great swimming area, Friendly staff....

i always hear about the mgm grand coz of manny pacquiao's fights and so i decided to choose it when i saw it in the agoda website. the price i paid for it was very much reasonable. the suite was awesome...very modern and updated. the view, especially at night was a feast to the eyes coz of the lights from various establishments outside. service was great. the bathroom is very spacious and i love the scent of their body wash. the pool side feels like one's in a resort, though we haven't had the chance to swim since it was during our last day when we checked out the pool area. we gambled a number of times in the slot machines at the hotel lobby. all in all, a very great hotel with awesome service.

For the price point, we were okay with settling...”

TV signal needed to be reset on day #1; water pressure in the bathroom sink was so weak we had to wash our face and brush our teeth in the bathtub; hallway and adjacent room noise & commotion came right through the walls, and the helicopters seemed non-stop outside the window; based on pictures, booking a King (West Tower) on-line did not prepare us for the room we received (stained carpet, mattress on a platform frame, closet sized in the "old" end of the floor, room door opens literally into bathroom) - shocking and disappointed; an upgrade to a remodeled King (Grand Tower) for $25/night got the room we thought we should have had to begin with - felt like a bait and switch since we were already feeling gouged with the 12% tax and $32/night Resort Fee for ?? We paid $18/night for Valet Parking. Food, gaming, Spa was all ala carte...Settled for all this because we started at $157.50/night which was in reality, $182.50 + 22tax + 32 Resort Fee = $236.50/night PLUS parking - not quite the $150/night we thought we had "scored." We settled for all these issues and inconveniences because we enjoyed the friendly housekeepers, valets, dealers, restaurant staff, as well as the convenience of being at the end of the strip so close to Tropicana and I-15 so when we wanted to jet out for alternative dining, shopping, or outings, we didn't have to fight a lot of traffic. We may stay here again, but since there are other MGM properties that are a couple of quality notches higher (Aria, Bellagio) we may stop settling and get what we ultimately pay for.

    Great hotel with 'great prices'”

    Clean rooms

i guess everyone must be thinking how bad can mgm be. yup, the rooms was clean and the service was alright. beautiful exterior and easy to locate. just that mgm grand requires resort fees and this was not stated anywhere when i book my rooms. the resort fees was per night before taxes. when the amount adds up, i regretted. as i have already paid the booking fees in advance, i can't change hotel now. i would rather get a hotel in the center of the strip with the same price after adding up the resort fees. mgm is located quite south in the strip. the rooms does not have much facilities. there was much inconvenience caused to me when i checked in and out. the hotel guests carpark is located far away from the rooms. you have to pass through the main lobby, casino and take a few escalators before you will reach the carpark. so i decided to employ the bellboy at the main lobby area for my luggage, i need his help as i got 6 luggage in the car after much shopping. the best part is the bellboy operate differently, i got to tip the bellboy at the drop-off point and he will transfer to another guy who will bring up to my room and i got to tip the guy again. so it is all about $$$ and $$$ if you want conveniences. the bad experience i had with the hotel is that when i request for hot/warm water due to the cold weather, i was told to pay before taxes for a pot of it. hence i advised people who travel with kids/babies should bring their own equipments to boil water if they decided to stay in this hotel. from my point of view, i did had a great and pleasant stay. mgm hosts a few major shows and it will be convenience if you are watching a late show and feeling tired after it.

A great hotel on the Vegas strip”

Location, good services, great price, pleasant staff. It's right in the heart of the Vegas Strip
    Actually can't see any fault.

We have a great time at Vegas. From MGM, we could stroll around the strip. Didn't gamble much. Just enjoyed the fun at the one and only Las Vegas. MGM price is so affordable.

Great Stay overall, but breakfast buffet a bit of a farce”

We had a couple of nights of fun at the end of a convention and moved to MGM for 2 nights. We had their basic room which was just great, no complaints at all despite the check-in staff doing their best to persuade us that we would be much better off if we upgraded from this "very basic, lowest rate room we have." Good try, we didn't bite, and didn't need to as we were watching our budget and the room was lovely - quiet, very comfy bed, nice linens, great water pressure in the shower, etc. The only downside to the room was that it is a bit of a long walk to get there, but we needed the exercise after eating everything big in Vegas! We read about buffet breakfast being from 7am-10am ... got there at 9am only to be told that the management had changed it for that day (it was a Monday) to Brunch, therefore the price was lots more than just breakfast... the service person explained that they cannot tell us what time breakfast finishes each day as management change it at whim. Go figure

Fantastic Hotel with many things to do”

    Location, Price, Activities

It was very great stay at the MGM. Large choice of restaurant, Monorail station, Taxi services, down the Strip, next to all the other hotels... Really good choice in Las Vegas. You also have Theatre 5mn walk out from the hotel.

Big hotel but no personalized service”

Located on The Strip. Good location

MGM Grand is very convinient hotel but notice that it's not personalized. I almost fell at the slippery bath room with no bathmat. I call the front desk to complaint and waited for 10 minutes to get my call answered. I request for the bathmat. No words of comfort and was told no bathmat. My mum would like to have some hot water for her medication. Notice that no electronic kettle. I called the housekeeping and got to wait for 10 minutes to get my call answered. I was told to pay USD30 (non refundable) to use the electronic kettle and the wait time to get is send to me will be 40 minutes.

    Fantastic Beds”

The Beds were the best I've ever esperienced

Chose to stay at the MGM Grand on our last night in Vegas after a week long conference. Staff was great at check in. The rooms were smaller than we expected, but the comfortable beds made up for it exponentially. Wish we could have stayed longer. If I ever return to Vegas, the MGM is where I will be staying.
