Excellent Hotel and Great Value for Money”

very very happy with this hotel. it is on the outskirts of bangkok nearer to government business district and close to duang mueang airport (old international airport) staff friendly, very helpful rooms very well presented. quiet good shower better location than you might expect - 2 smaller shopping centres close - one within walking distance which is more budget oriented and has plenty of western style food if you cant take local. plenty of street food nearby. walking distance to laksi mainline station, quick taxi ride to bts and mrt railway systems at mo chit. i suspect the prices are low due to the refurbishment and re launch as they could easily charge more so they must by trying to attract business back. we paid £20 per night and this was incredible value for money in my view. we didn't have time to try the food as my wife prefers street food. the pool is small but good, this isn't a family resort more a good quality business or short stay hotel and for this type of hotel this is high quality. we will definately return to this hotel.

Good place for one night stay”

Quite expensive hotel about 10 minutes taxi ride away from Don Mueang airport. The room was nice and clean but clearly it had been a while since last renovation. The airconditioning unit outside on the balcony made the worst noise at night so it was difficult to fall asleep. The buffet breakfast was great and the pool was perfect! Loved the pool!

Great for airport access”

We stayed here just because we needed to be close to Don Mueang airport for a flight up north. Hotel is perfect for short stay in these circumstances. Rooms were good size and clean. Hotel was also very clean and modern looking. Not much around but there was a nice little restaurant with live music very close by. Also a market which we had a quick mooch around. Would stay again if i need to be close to the airport.

Very nice hotel”

This hotel is located near the Don Muang Airport. It is very convenent when you use this airport and it is not too far from Suvarnabhumi Airport. Also the rooms are very nice,and the people at the hotel were very helpful. They were able to help me to use the buses and the over head trains. All in all my stay there at Mida City Resort Bangkok was very nice.

Great spot close to Don Muang Airport”

This is a very attractive, well priced hotel that is conveniently located if you have an early morning flight from Don Muang Airport. We had a good sized room with a very comfortable bed. The room looked like it had been recently renovated and everything was very clean. The shuttle to the airport only runs on a very limited schedule so you will probably need a cab to get to the airport. Cab fare is very inexpensive so that is not really an issue. We found the staff very friendly and also appreciated that breakfast starts quite early allowing us to grab something despite an early departure to the airport. We saw a number of airline staff staying there, usually an indicator that the hotel is a good choice. We also enjoyed the small local restaurant directly across the street from the hotel. The food there was pretty good and very inexpensive. The night we were there they also had live entertainment that we really enjoyed.

Airport hotel”

This place is basically a flash, boutique style hotel design for close to the airport transfers. And thats why I booked it. Just remember that if your flying from the new Airport then this hotel is not near there. This is close to Don Muang Airport (DMK) Bangkok Thailand. Its about 5 klm away or $3 in a meter taxi... I stay on my last night because I had an early flight. Perfect for me. Not much to do around the area. Few small restaurants there for your last meal before leaving. A little bar around the corner that is great for a drink and listen to the music. I would stay there again.. room was modern, big, clean, perfect. very happy.

This my 1st time to visit this hotel, received excellent service at a very reasonable price. Staff were extremely courteous friendly and helpful, showing a good command of English language. We choose this hotel due to the location close to the IMPACT Arena, Exhibition and Convention Center and close to the Domestic Don Muang Airport. It's a nice quiet place suitable for a perfect relaxing holiday away from the crowded city. I recommend for those of you who have transport to the hotel. It is located in a quiet of main road location, affording quick access to local Thai restaurants and access to more central areas in Bangkok. I would have no problem in recommending others to use this hotel.

Good hotel close to Don Mueang airport”

First time stopping at this hotel. Travelling back to Thailand from Hanoi, needing an overnight stop to change airports in Bangkok. Hotel was sourced through Trip Advisor and met up with our general expectations. We were upgraded to a suite as there was a large family party going on as well as a big customs conference. We were well looked after and would look to stay here again if needing to use Don Mueang airport in future.

Very good (Asian) breakfast buffet, clean and quiet room, friendly staff, about half an hour from Don Mueang airport (taxi fare about 120 Baht, back to the airport 90 Baht), in front of the hotel street food available

It's an Airport hotel!”

Well, the hotel is a good choice if you have to spend one or two nights close to Don Mueang Airport in Bangkok. It's older and ok maintained. AC loud, no remote control. Breakfast good.

Pleasant layover”

Came into Don Muang Airport late. The hotel was fine for the one night layover until going into Bangkok the following day. However, as has been observed by other guests. Agoda lists airport pickup. This is false advertising as airport pickup is not available for all guests. As a result of not having airport pickup available, we will not stay at Mida City again if coming in late.

Very nice hotel with very caring staff”

Arrived late to the hotel as our taxi driver and many others couldn't seam to find it, although the big sign at the entrance to the road the hotel was in was a big give away!!! Hotel and surroundings were very clean and in a good location to shops and restaurants. Staff checked us in very quickly and showed us to our room which was great and again very clean and modern. Didn't have time for breakfast as we were leaving for the airport at 6am but the hotel kindly made us two pack lunches which comprised of sandwiches and fruit and water. Great location for anyone needing a hotel close to Don Muang Airport or a short taxi ride to Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Very comfortable ”

I chose the hotel because I wanted to be near the airport for an early flight, so I was only there one night. I didn't use any of the hotels amenities, I didn't eat there or order room service, although the price list for room service was cheap. 711 was just a short walk away from the hotel, and across the road from that there are food stalls, and also a little night market which again I didn't use. The next morning I was woken with a friendly wake up call, I had a taxi booked for Me and waiting when I checked out which was done very quickly and efficiently. My only gripe really is the taxi, the hotel should of made sure that the taxi put on their meter, it really is just a short ride away from the hotel and should cost on a meter no more than 50 bht depending on traffic? I left early in the morning and there was no traffic and got there in like 5 mins,and he charged Me 200bht. I live in Thailand so obviously I know I was being ripped off......I wouldn't stay at the hotel if you wanna go into Bangkok because it's just too far way and would be too stressful, in My opinion it's a great stop over hotel!

Overnight in Bangkok”

We chose this hotel due to the loacation being close to the Domestic Don Muang Airport. We arrived at 1:00am in the Morning however we were warmly greeted and shown to our room. The Suite was spacious and very well set out. The main bedroom had 2 x queen beds. The romm was spotless & the bed linen was better that we had experienced in many hoel stays (both in Thailand and overseas) The breakfast was excellent and again the service was faultless.

Renovation improved this hotel by 100%”

compared with about 1,5 years ago (when the renovations had just started), this hotel improved a lot. the rooms was great: lots of space, nicely decorated, comfortable sofa and bed. nice bathroom with very comfortable shower. wifi was reliable and speed more than acceptable. staff, as last time, friendly and helpful (e.g. when batteries of room safe turned out to be empty). breakfast (they are still making the new restaurant but have another breakfast room now) much better as before. due to their location they will always depend on tour busses with (many chinese) tourists but as we had breakfast only around 9am (all dishes kept on being well filled) we had the breakfast room for ourselves. swimming area is now very nicely made with nice furniture etc. but they aren't yet having towel facility yet (you need to find staff and ask but then they will deliver it with a smile), no serving of drinks (unless you go and find staff) and the swimming pool is even at the most shallow side too deep for children if they can't swim (ours luckily can). concluding: very good value for money. surely recommendable, especially if you plan to go to chatuchak, don muang, it square, future park, dream world, impact ,...

Near the airport is this fabulous hotel. Loved it”

We loved this comfortable hotel. It was so close to the airport. the restaurant is very nice. We had a great night here. Even the pool was very inviting. Nothing was too much for the staff. We recommend the Mida city hotel. If you need an overnight sop over in Bangkok this is a great hotel. Would stay here again

Near To Don Mueang Airport ”

Stay here for two nights. Hotel was not easy to locate as it was away from the main street. Check in and check out was fast. The room was big and clean. However, the hotel pool was dirty which cigarette butt could be found in the water. Call for the room service and the food was considerably ok. Will recommend if you want to transit over the Don Mueang Airport and not if you will like shop at the downtown.

Excellent surprise”

The staff in general are very helpful and friendly even if their English is basic. The rooms are clear, quiet and clean and have international standards for a very correct price. It is close from Don Mueng airport and very handy if you have to go to this particular airport or to WatPo Health Centre on Chang Wattana for training or treatment. As the hotel was far from the city, I was not expecting such quality.
