Improve Midtown hotel service with moderate price
Location, cleanliness of the standard rooms and security consciousness
It was fine, though the staffing services can be improved on to sustain the quality of the hotel.

Worst hotel I've stayed in
I came down to New Orleans for my birthday the same weekend as Jazz Fest, all the available rooms 1-2 months prior were extremely expensive and I was on a budget so I chose this one. I went in to this with an open mind knowing that it probably isn't going to be the nicest hotel I've stayed in. Big mistake. The entire hotel staff I interacted with, at least 4 people, were extremely rude and short. The original room we got, the A/C wasn't working, the bathroom ceiling falling apart from water damage and bathroom fixtures were broken. We immediately asked for a new room, and they gave us a new one with working A/C. BUT, None of the rooms have telephones for their guests, they don't have a first aid kit available, and the most hazardous thing of all.. The elevator hasn't been inspected in over 2 years! Don't believe me? Check the certificate inside the elevator above the LED floor display. This place was way too over priced for their service, staff was rude, short, & not welcoming at all. This hotel was so raggedy, cheap, and very displeasing. I'm sure I could of booked a better place I paid for this horrible, horrible place. I wouldn't even send my worst enemies to sleep at this place! Hope this helps!

Not First Choice in NOLA But OK In a Fix
Staff,Quietness,Easy Road Access
I got this place because I left it late to book and most of the popular places were booked out-it was a football home game wkend in New Orleans and there was a huge medical convention in town. I really thought that it was easy to find on the airline highway road branching into Tulane avenue. By daylight it looked an OK area and I walked around a few blocks to a nice neighbourhood Irish bar where I spent a couple of hours then back for a Burger King next to the hotel. I slept for a while then thought I'll go to the French Quarter cos its Saturday night, got a cab (ten bucks) and cabbed back a few hours later. The cabbie shocked me by saying that the hotel is 'in the ghetto' and I shouldn't walk around there at all. Wow! I felt bad cos the hotel staff are lovely but wow!

Unique architecture. Easy parking.
Room size, proximity to city center and freindly staff
Room not so clean. Old world feel though. Nice. Ice machine on my floor wasn't working.

Close to town but run down!
Close to town and near the bus, which drives to town. The beds are okay though, cause they are new (got new beds the days we checked in).
Rude staff. No service! Poor housecleaning!!! And dirty rooms with sticky carpets.
