"Had a great stay at the New York Hilton Midtown Hotel. Friendly staff, great location. Only complaint is that the website advertised free WiFi (internet). Some what misleading...free internet is available however, ONLY in the lobby...not in the room. Should be specified in room/hotel amenities. "

"the bf and i decided to stay an extra night in nyc so we decided to book through through . the staff at sheraton had a difficult time finding our booking at first, as we had booked the previous night and it wasn't showing up in the system. location is key! this hotel literally sits on top of the b,d, and e train. 5th avenue's infamous high-end shopping street is just one station away. the e train will also take you to the airport in an hour for just $7.50 (2.50 subway fare + 5.00 air train fare). we opted for this as we were leaving during rush hour. additionally, walk down the block and you'll reach the infamous halal food cart! ate this at least 3 times - so amazing! the room itself is decent in size for a new york room. the rooms aren't anything fancy or artistic in design but it is clean and you get what you pay for. i ended up paying $ and for the convenience, especially in manhattan, this deal was unbeatable."

"I LOVE AGODA! i was a little worried after i booked with agoda bc i read some bad reviews but i verified my reservation directly with the hotel and sure enough, agoda was not only valid but got me a CRAZY low rate that none of the other sites were able to do. i took a nyc-eloise-style trip with my 2 daughters and stayed at the plaza for 5 nights and 6 days. service was terrific as we stepped out of our car. we were then shown up to our room where i was BLOWN AWAY! i expected a smaller room bc it's nyc but it was a BEAUTIFUL, generously sized room... beautifully furnished with every attention to detail. The bathroom was so beautiful that i ended up taking pics and pics of the walls and fixtures. the famous palm court was beautiful and the food was incredible but i wouldn't do it more than once a day (very expensive). their "food hall" by todd english was incredible too... although much more casual than upstairs, still pricey. i have never spent so much time inside my hotel room on a trip before (and we travel a lot!) i was so taken by the plaza that i have my husband looking into purchasing the pied-a-terre there. i am now booking a trip for paris with my mom and my sister and will be using agoda again bc i am SO PLEASED with the prices! i don't know how they are able to get such a steep discount compared to other sites. (granted, not for all places... i checked for my hawaii trip and ended up using a different site for that trip) i also utilized their chat & phone services repeatedly when i got nervous after reading the bad reviews and they were super accessible and VERY accommodating. i am a fan... can't understand what the bad reviews are about! i love this site!!"

"I really had a most enjoyable stay at Hilton Garden Inn. The location of this hotel is so very convenient. Not only is it just a couple of minutes walk down to Times Square, it's also near other locations such as the Museum of Modern Art (MoMa). Watching broadway musicals and plays have never been so convenient. The hotel rooms were spacious and clean. There's a microwave in my room and it definitely makes it all the more convenient to just reheat my food (if any) or just microwave my food that I've bought from the nearby supermarket. I used the gym, and although it's sparse and minimal, it had all the basic amenities of a gym - I had a good time. Most importantly though, the staff were friendly and helpful. They take the extra mile to ensure that my stay at the hotel was most memorable. I will most definitely make Hilton Garden Inn my first choice when I return to New York again."
