"The outside needs a new paint job but the inside of the rooms Were new and clean. The front desk lady miss Jean was WONDERFUL!! Jean was nice, funny, and very informative. Miss Dee the GM was also very nice and very pleasant. The only issue I had was that the maid entered my room while I was at work but only took out the trash n grabbed the pile of dirty towels on the floor. She didn’t make the bed, she didn’t leave any clean towels , she didn’t replenish anything at all. I’m still confused as to why she even entered my room and didn’t clean or stock anything. When I got in from work I had to go to the front desk to get towels, toilet paper, n Kleenex. Low and behold the maid FALSIFIED housekeeping documents saying she left towels n etc in my room. When miss Jean called her as I was upset the maid was rude told her that she meant to go back and finish my room it she couldn’t bcuz of the rain. Just sounds strange to me and makes no sense! Why would housekeeping enter my room but clean nothing stock up nothing, and only take out trash on the night b4 we checked out. If she wasn’t gonna clean or even leave towels she could’ve waited until we checked out the next morning. And when the front desk lady told her that they aren’t supposed to lie on the papers saying she serviced my room the maid hung up on her then showed up in the office with an attitude. Other than the lying and sneaky maid I enjoyed my stay"

"My thirteen-year-old daughter and I stayed overnight because we went to the Backstreet Boys concert at the Amway arena. Although check-in was at three, we were allowed us to check in early, staff provided us with toothbrushes, shampoo and conditioner because we forgot to pack those in our excitement for the concert, they called a taxi for us to pick us up take us to Amway arena for our VIP check in. The room was clean, homie and comfortable. "

"I was leery booking this hotel because it got such a tremendously low review, however I was pleasantly surprised. I was attending EDC (Electric Daisy Carnival) with some friends and needed something close to the Tinker Field / Citrus Bowl area. The price was great (I paid about $60/night) for what I got and compared to other hotels in the area. Also the staff was very efficient and nice. The room was very clean and nice considering the hotel was obviously a little old. The paint/plaster job in the bathroom did look a little half-finished, but the shower itself was nice. I'm sure the major reason why this hotel is rated so low is because it's right next to a correctional facility, however, it's also next to the police precinct so I felt pretty safe. However, there isn't much within walking distance. All and all, it is a great hotel if you're there for business or for some event downtown or in Tinker Field. If you're there for Universal Studios on a family vacation I might not recommend it, but it's great value for your money. "
