"I was visiting Ocean City, MD for 2018 labor weekend with my husband and Dachshund pup. This hotel is advertised as a pet-friendly hotel in at least 2 high traffic booking websites, with no cost for extra pets. That’s the only reason why I booked here and drove 1 hour from Ocean City, MD to Milford, DE to stay there with my pet. I check in with no comment from the receptionist regarding the pet entering the property. I check out normally. Today I found the $200 dollars held as a security deposit were charged. When I contacted the Hotel they told me they will retain the deposit because I stayed with a pet. This is fraudulent advertisement, the Hotel is misleading customer with services they do not offer to charge for more than they provide. If I knew I will end paying $300 for staying in this mediocre hotel for 1 night, I would have stayed in a top hotel in Ocean City and spare me the 1 hour drive during the night. Please be aware of this scam and the vultures that worked there."
