Great Hotel - top service”
Stayed at Mill Houses in early June at start of Honeymoon. First impressions were set high being warmly greeted at Airport by staff, walked into hotel with the boys carrying our large suitcases on their shoulders - hotel positioned cliffside on Caldera means steps up & down, I will say this was no big deal for us as you must expect that with Santorini hotels on the cliff, good exercise. Stayed in one of the front suites with outside hot tub, really was a lovely room with matching view. The pre ordered breakfast was great, many choices & staff Fantastic with no request ever too much. I must say all the staff at the hotel were exceptional. Sweet treats in evening, weather forecasts & champagne on arrival for honeymoon all very nice touches by the team at Mill Houses. Good location as its away from the main strip in Fira so more quiet, plenty restaurants close by. Great stay really enjoyed. Pool bar staff gave us alot of tips where to go, activities bars & restaurants much appreciated!!

mill houses studios and suites is located in firostefani which is the perfect place for relaxing and romantic vacations. perfect view of the caldera and volcano. within walking distance from fira. good breakfast that can be served in room or on pool area table. avoid rooms under the restaurant. lot of steps down and up to the hotel so choose the correct shoes. can be quite windy in santorini. rooms are in traditional santorini style and may not like to all (cave style).

Lovely hotel in nice location, EXCELLENT service!”
OK, hardwares wise Mill House may not be on the top of the pile here, nonetheless, what they provide is way more than adequate; but, trust me, their service is one of the best if not the best in any hotel I've been to and I've been around – I travel for a living! The moment you check in, you'll know the difference, they don't just welcome you, they give you a detailed orientation of the whole Santorini! Everyone of their staff is unbelievably friendly, and they know exactly how to make you feel welcome. I was there alone but didn't feel, in anyway, lonely. One important tip though, USE their airport transfer service and have your rental car delivered at the hotel or use hotel rental car service, you'd be better off for it. I made that mistake and had to goof around for almost an hour to find the hotel, but every hotel in Santorini is pretty much in the hole literally, not easy to find and the ones that are easy to find are on street level which negate the whole point of being in Santorini anyway.

Perfect, look no further in santorini”
The check in was very easy as they knew we were coming and everything was all ready. The view is just stunning. The disappearing edge opens out into the sea with the volcanic island rising out. Our room was ready and they carried our bags down from the car park (no easy feat) THE ROOM: we were in room 105 (recommended), a junior suite. It is a cave style room and just incredible. All white with curtains and round ceilings and a mezzanine area. Our own kitchen and very spacious bathroom. We were slack jawed. And then our welcome glasses of local soft fizz arrived. The room also has an iPod music dock. BREAKFAST: this is preordered each day and they bring breakfast down to your room or outside on the pool terrace - as you like. We, being greedy, had sparkling wine, fruit, eggs, local pastries every morning. This is made off site and brought to you everyday. SERVICE: flawless. They booked restaurants, made recommendations, booked cars, day excursions, dropped us off at the airport etc. All great. The shaved head Croatian guy is phenomenal, friendly and well-informed. There are 5* hotels that could really learn a thing or two from this guy. VALUE: so we found a good online deal and we could not believe our luck. Santorini and Caldera views don't come cheap. This is perfect is perfect for honeymoons and romantic weekends. At 3x the price we would find this place great value. LOCATION: in terms if where it is in the island, it's great and easier if you have a car. In terms of in Fira, it's about a 15 min walk into town. You need to be fit. There's a lot of stairs coming up from the hotel. If you need disabled access I'm not sure if this is a practical place to stay but you will have this all around the caldera. It's a must stay. We are so glad we went.

Had a great 3 days 2 nights stay at Mill Houses Suites. Package coming with free airport shuttle and you'll be welcomed starting from your arrival at the airport. This place provided stunning view, so breathtaking and enjoying breakfast while enjoying the breathtaking view of Santorini is so memorable and unforgettable. I surely will come again to this place in future!

Exceptional”
Awesome to wake up to the sea in front of us. Great facilities like Swimming pool and jacuzzi. Hotel staff were very friendly and customer oriented. Also helped us carry our luggage from the car into the villa (as there were many steps on the island). Would greatly recommend Mill Houses if you are staying overnight in Santorini.

Peaceful little resort for retreat”
Mill houses is only about 15mins drive from Santorini, away from the main town of Firá but very convenient. To me, Mill houses has the best view! Breakfast was simple but fulfilling. Room was cozy & it was great to return to it each day. Although we had to climb up & down about 100 odd steps everyday, it was simply worth it. Down the road is a great tavern called Simos. Food is fantastic, definitely should try it.

Pleasant stay in the junior suites”
Enjoyed our brief one night stay at the Mill Houses. We were there to celebrate our anniversary and babymoon and the hotel gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. Would have preferred a free upgrade instead as the room was a little too small for our expectation, plus we did not have time to drink the wine :p Overall, we had a pleasant stay. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, room was equipped with all the necessities and the hotel in-charge was kind enough to grant us a late check-out as we had a night flight back to Athens. Unfortunately for us, Mylos cafe was closed during our visit. Will definitely want to try out other suites at Mill Houses in the future.

Great views and service”
Really liked this small hotel which had great views, short walk from Fira down a cobblestone path (although uphill), and excellent service by all the staff. We also got free pickup/drop off service to and from the airport which was a nice plus. Was disappointed in our junior suite room though- it was dark and cavelike instead of airy and open, and the upstairs "loft" had only space for the bed itself and nothing else. The pool is also very small so only 3-4 people could really be in there comfortably at the same time. only 4 lounge chairs by the pool too. We had free wifi and breakfast served on the table/chairs right outside our room.

My first trip back to Santorini in 30 years( as a backpacker) and the first for my wife - sensational location and well located away from Thira but a 15 minuet stroll - great restaurants all nearby Regular exercise a few times per day with all the steps but this is Santorini not a good for anyone with hip or leg issues Staff could not have been more helpful particularly our 5am pick up for the 6.40am flight to Athens Would stay again anytime - perfect time of the years late May

Best hotel ever!”
i am a regular traveller and this hotel is the best i have stayed so far! this is the only europe hotel that deserves its star rating. first and foremost, there is a complimentary hotel transfer to and from the port/airport which saves you time and money to find out how to get to the hotel. next, the staff is the most friendly i have encounted in all the hotels i have stayed. during hotel transfer, he doubled up as a tour guide explaining and answering my questions. he was also patient to recommend an itinerary during our stay and places to eat. my room had a view of the sunset and it was the most comfortable room during my europe trip. there was also a good variety of food on offer for breakfast.

For February the best place to view sunset! Don't even have to leave the hotel, and you can clearly see the sunset. Great location, take a walk north to north Fira or south to Oia, excellent walks, strongly recommended.

Superb View!”
The good things about this hotel: - The view is more than stunning. We could've just stayed at the hotel and get lost in the sunset. - Service is top notch. Especially Nenad. We were pepmpered with a honeymoon gift, and Nenad was very informative and helpful with our sightseeing and transport plans. Airport shuttle was really helpful too. - The breakfast system was wonderful and plentiful. The bad: - The bathrooms were really small and not having a shower curtain, it was very wet and cold too. (we were there in late feb). - The heating was good, but one of our bathrobes was dirty. - The hotel access could've been better. But this is understandable, seeing that most of Santorini are on cliffs. We were exhausted just getting in and out of the hotel to the main street, though.

Wonderful location”
The location is amazing, the staff are professional and attentive. A great place for a couples break but not somewhere you would want to visit with a young family as the pool is small. We stayed in one of the Honeymoon suites and then later changed to larger one when it became available which was much nicer and the staff were happy to allow us to do this. Its a short walk to some great restaurants and down hill into Thira.
