Great hotel, awesome view of the "Freedom Tower" ”
this is a wonderful hotel. it was reasonably priced for new york. the only issue is that it is very far downtown. other than that, everything was wonderful. the rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. the staff let us check in early and we were treated with a great view of the river and the freedom tower. the room overlooked ground zero which was sort of shocking and awe inspiring at the same time. definitely a great bargain for nyc.
Great location - but missed on details”
My wife and I stayed here for a weekend away. You can’t beat the location of this hotel in the heart of New York’s financial district. Step outside and you’re just a few minutes’ walk away from some of the city’s most iconic landmarks. The room was a decent size (for New York) and the staff were courteous. However, we found the hotel didn’t pay attention to details. When we entered our room, we found a bag of food or trash (we didn’t check it) in our fridge - we even called guest services to let them know and they said they’d come to clean it out and never did. Plus, there were very unofficial-looking plastic bags over the smoke detector and sprinklers that I can only assume previous guests placed there. The floor wasn’t perfectly clean. The rooms are quiet enough as long as the person next room down doesn’t cough. In summary, a great location but far from a flawless experience.
Everything was better than I expected.”
I was happily suprised of how the staff was so willing to help me for any requests and questions I had. The location is the main interest for me, the view of the new WTC's beeing built was indeed very impressive, the hudson river and etc...My room was kept clean during my short stay, but it'd the comfort of the bed and pillows that provided me the complete reassurance of comfort after a long day. I will without a doubt return to the Millenium Hilton in the near future. Thank you to the staff.
QUality hotel, right by the WTC site.”
We spent the weekend at the Millennium Hilton while visiting our kids in NYC. Our room on the 48th floor was very comfortable and had a stunning view of the World Trade Center site, downtown and the Hudson. Very convenient to shopping (Century 21 is next door, which my wife appreciated) and walking distance to most downtown sights and Tribeca where our daughter and her husband live. We certainly enjoyed our stay. The biggest drawback was Monday morning, when work on the WTC started, with quite a bit of noise even as high as we were.
Location, location, location!”
On our 3rd Christmas trip to NY we decided to stay downtown vs midtown to check out a different area. Being across from the Oculus, with all the different transportation options was awesome, we could easily access each subway line we needed to use. Then on foot, St Paul’s Church, Battery Park, S.I. Ferry terminal, Wall Street and the WTC and Memorial pools from our window. Will definitely stay again, especially for the rate we paid ($145 each night, taxes, fees etc included). Have no complaints!! PSA: Do not be hesitant to use the subway, it’s cheap, easy and we’ve always found someone to help us when we were confused.
SUPERB!!!”
First, the location of the hotel is great. It’s near all the places we wanted to go and on the cleaner side of NYC which is at lower Manhattan near World Trade Center, Brooklyn, etc. Second, my bestfriend and I initially booked for a king size bed. Luckily when we got to the hotel, the nice reception lady offered 2 separate beds without any additional charges. Room was clean and the view was great! The staff are very friendly and nice. Nicest people we ever talk to in NYC. All in all, i would recommend this particular Hilton Hotel at lower Manhattan.
nice location hotel”
overall hotel is at good location and it lands at the heart of financial center, opposite to world trade center, with beautiful sea view esp. at evening and night time, crystal clear skyline. only take 7stops then u will be in the mid town area for night shopping and drama activities. i enjoy stay at hilton always
Great location, great service”
Enjoyed time in New York - with so much to see and do this hotel was handy with many attractions nearby
Bit of a disappointment from Hilton”
There are three certainties in life: Death, Taxes and Hilton is a bit pricey. Although I had an excellent deal with Agoda, the price of food and drinks in Hilton hotels remind you that you're paying for a premium service, especially when you book a junior suite. With that in mind, one hopes to be reminded upon arrival that you haven't just paid for a mediocre hotel. Forgiving minor mistakes from reception and restaurant staff (we're all human after all) it would be nice to simply feel welcomed. I have recently completed a stay at the Molino Stucky Hilton in Venice which was extra special and so this was a disappointment. I can't even blame the usual 'New York' attitude and brash approach to customer service, as the staff at the Hilton in Times Square are much nicer. From struggling with my own bags, made to feel that arriving an hour or so early is a personal affront to the reception staff and no one feeling particularly bothered how long I stand waiting for them to acknowledge me, (reception and restaurant) I didn't feel particularly welcomed. My room (remember I paid for a junior suite) was mediocre at best and very noisy. As the room directly overlooks Ground Zero and the building site of the new Freedom tower, again I won't complain about the construction noise, starting from 7:30, but I asked for a quiet room, which, despite being on the 10th floor picked up all of the traffic, internal and external air conditioning noises all night long, not to mention other bumps and various plumbing noises from the surrounding rooms. The one redeeming feature of this hotel is the bar in the main lobby, where, regardless of who was working that particular shift, I received a very warm and professional friendly service. But like I say, drinking at a Hilton bar is seldom light on the wallet. Come on Hilton, you can do better than that....
Great hotel and location”
We had an amazing experiance staying at the Millenium Hilton in Manhattan, the location was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also very good and we will come back anytime. The rooms is nice and big and the television and satellite tv was a great add on.
Not to bad”
mini bar was expeeeeeensiiiive.... a lot of construction in that area, though this hotel to me would score a seven outta ten i would not recommend to anybody there has to be my far better hotels in new york city
Lovely hotel and service”
simply awesome. well i just arrived and room wasn't ready. it seem that check in time is till 3pm which i think is pretty late. front desk was very welcoming but the place is so far clean and cute very minimal. the price is reasonable $75 for a queen bed and private bathroom. not bad for an up coming artsy city. i still have to check out my room but i have about 50mins till check in time. ugh! but i'll be back with the review on my room. ooook i'm back couple of weeks late on the review for the room but back, so the room was small but enough for what we were going to use it for :d,. over all it was more than okay
Exceptional location, spacious room”
close to many metro lines (0-2 minute walk) that take you up or downtown, spacious room, great view of the city, room feels modern and not too old, very functional gym, a solid 4-5 star
Exceptional”
The City View is highly recommended overlooking Brooklyn, Manhattan & Williamsburg Bridge for reasonable price as if you are in a tower surrounded by the city lights..The staff are friendly & courteous. The room was clean & cozy. I've been to other hotels but this is the best I've ever been. I slept like a baby.
Nice Hotel in a busy location”
This is a very nice hotel in the center of the major tourist spot in NYC. Very busy outside but great access to transportation. Also, not an easy place to drive to. Hotel is nice, clean, decent rooms and efficient staff. I was on the 20th floor and it was very quiet and the view was spectacular.
Great location. Furniture getting old”
location of that hotel, just outside the world trade center, is covenient for business travellers. the hotel has over 50 floors, so the chances to get a nice view are high. however the comfort is average, similar to other hiltons, while the higher price should ask for something better

Our next visit to NY we would definitely book this hotel.
Great location and room”
the hotel is in great location with access to 2 lines of metro (world trade center e station and cortlandt street station r are right in front of the hotel with less than a minute walk to these stations) and only a few stations away from soho, great shopping area. the hotel is also close to other tourist destinations such as brooklyn bridge and south ferry to go to liberty island and staten island.

Millenium Review - Aug 2014”
Loved the location. Staff was friendly. Hotel and rooms were clean. However, for me a big negative was the fact they charged $13 per day for Wi-Fi in the rooms. Even a Days Inn does not charge for Wi-Fi. I know that Wi-Fi in lobby was free but it was inconvenient to have to go down to lobby.
