Pool closed for a couple of months!A lot of the rooms have very limited views. Great location — Close to great restaurants, the Broad, The Pershing Square metro is a block away. Great location if you don’t have a car

    Acceptable”

No pros Terrible service Got everything wrong There was a huge issue with my booking and room - they wanted me to change rooms the following day. Housekeeping never cleaned the room unless I called to request it and they said I needed to be in the room to clean it. They also refused to make the bed if I had anything on it. There was a mini cockroach in the bathroom The bathroom fan is so loud you can’t hear anyone knock on the door There’s only an overhead shower and hat sprays everywhere not one with the handle The staff at front desk were rude and unhelpful There was always a long queu to front desk The bell desk refused to send a grocery bag for me up to my room unless I was in the room to receive it This is not a 4 star hotel in my opinion

A beautiful hotel in LA downtown”

Great location, in the heart of LA downtown, walking distance from metro station to take you around in LA, great bar in the hotel. beautiful hotel, good rooms, great service, helping staffs.
Rooms little old, need some improvements in term of look.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel in the downtown, staffs were really helpful in providing us all information about LA attractions and metro routes. Metro was a walking distance from hotel so we could go anywhere in LA very easily. Hotel lobby is really beautiful, restaurants and bar in the hotel can take care of your food and drink needs, overall good choice at a less price.

    Nice antique hotel”

An antique hotel located in downtown LA. The lobby is astonishing. The equipement is adequate. Great doormen and bellmen service. Rooms have been renovated so everything are in good condition.
    1. 9.95 charge for internet access per day. 2.$40 for parking per day. Glad that I borrow an extra parking card in another parking structure.

The hotel is located in downtown LA. However, although extra expense is expected, $40 parking per day is simply out of my budget. Due to bring my work with me, it is necessary to get access to the internet. They charge $9.95 per 24hrs so that would be another almost $30 expense for my 3-nights stay. Other than that. It is breath taking everytime to step in the spectecular lobby. The hotel is beautiful, stating the history of downtown LA. The doorman and bellman are polite and helpful, while the staff in reception seem to be a little bit cold. Overall a nice and pleasant stay for they say the price I got is pretty good.

    Hotel is very incredible ”

The hotel is very clean and beautiful despite the age. The staff for check in was pleasant but not friendly . The lobby and corridors were well decorated. It’s a very gorgeous hotel with an amazing history. The room was clean and smells nice. It doesn’t have the normal hotel musty odor.

Historical hotel but not matched up with comfort ”

    Interior; location;

Overall a special experience to stay here, but the room and facilities are really old, toilet is small and nothing matched up with modern standards; bedding is comfortable but lighting is too dim, everything in the room looks old; the check-in process took at least 20 mins or more (not just me, but for almost every customers as I observed while queen for my turn); location is pretty good, it's in the center of the downtown.

Old but a good hotel overall”

The Decor/interior, the location, comfortable bed

I was initially a bit taken aback by the rooms and thought it was undeserving of the $180/night rate, however overall I was pleased with my stay. Hotel is old, but is clean, beautiful inside and provide necessary amenities. Good location for Downtown LA, particularly for the price, only a few blocks walk to LA Live/Staples Centre etc. Don't go hete if you're interested in spectacular room service or a view.

Better than I expected and I expected really good ”

    Staff, beauty and location

I choose the hotel for the location and the charm of an older, historic hotel. It exceeded my expectations. The staff were knowledgable, charming and punctual. They went out of their way to make us feel valued. The Christmas decorations added to the experience of wonder my traveling companion felt. She remarked as we walked into the lobby on the 4th day that she felt that the hotel was opening it's arms and welcoming us home. She went out of her mind about the breakfasts we enjoyed at the hotel. The location near to public transportation was my primary criteria for hotel choice. We used the Dash, the bus and walked with comfort and security. The public transportation was clean, safe and friendly. It was also fun to talk to locals who went out of their way to make sure we arrived safely at our destinations.

stressful and not a good value”

central location, many services, and fancy historic design

Overall a stressful stay, not very relaxing at all. The hotel is nice and has many services. However, The traffic in the neighborhood makes it difficult to get in and out. The valet parking is expensive and inconvenient waiting for your car to be parked and taken out. The standard rooms are old and not very good looking. Overall, not a good value and many inconveniences.

    Building was gorgeous

Millemium Biltmore was a great - it was in the heart of downtown LA and we could walk to all major attractions. It was very exciting when we were staying there as they were filming a tv series. The building is gorgeous and rooms had heritage. I would reccommend this hotel to all travellers.

beautiful hotel, spacious, clean rooms, lovely!!”

Beautiful hotel, helpful staff, huge room and clean

my boyfriend and i are business partners and stayed here during a business trip to la. very beautiful hotel - the lobby is amazing. the hotel staff were very helpful and even happily directed us to the much cheaper self-park lot across the street. our room was huge and everything was very clean. in opposition to another review i read on here, the water pressure in our shower was the best i've ever experienced! only thing i could have asked for was bottles of water in the room, but that is a small want. would definitely stay here again!
