Modern room great location good food nice toilet ”
We really enjoyed Japan. A big plus also staying here in Ginza Mitsui. Modern rooms and courteous staffs. The room is small 20sq m but very clean and complete w all amenities. Tried lunch buffet for only ¥ 2580 it was good . Not so many food but special ones . Accross mistuskoshi and matsuya dept stores and 2 mins walk to Ginza strip many stores like Zara Uniqlo Gu Apple LV Chanel almost all branded stores. 10 mins walk to Catholic Church . 10 mins walk to Tsukiji Fish market where you can find fresh catch and good food. Tried unagi salmon oysters uni there. I'll go back to Tokyo I'll stay in this hotel again . Ate at ippudo ramen , ikinari steak 2mins walk all good. Ate Katsu also near Ginza strip. From Ginza station you can go anywhere Tokyo like shinjuku, shibuya, Tokyo tower , Tokyo tree , kawagoe , Disney sea , etc . Shuttle to Haneda airport is only ¥ 930 per person 25 mins away from courtyard Marriott just 400m at the back of Mitsui Hotel. Hotel rooms , toilets are superb . Clean towels , blessings and carpet . You can find a lot of food , sushi and cakes at the basement of Mitsukoshi and matsuya but available for to go only . Food are affordable and lots of choices. Try to eat at fish market prices are cheaper and more fresh . There are also second hand stores in Ginza strip. There's a bus many times a day to gotemba outlet in Tokyo station 30 mins walk from hotel or one stop from Ginza station. I like everything in Tokyo no pressure at all . Carefree trip coz it's really a very very safe place . The safest place all over the world is Japan. Also the people are so courteous and good . They respect all races no discrimination at all . I'll definitely go back very soon .
Perfect Introduction to Tokyo”
We had a perfect stay at Millennium Mitsui. I'm so happy that we decided to stay here as our introduction to Tokyo. We're first time visitors to the country and the staff made our visit comfortable and smooth. The hotel is centrally located in Ginza and you'll be able to walk (5-8 minutes) or connect via subway (Ginza Station is literally 5 seconds away from the hotel's entrance) to Tokyo Station which I'd say is Japan's version of Grand Central for connecting to other subway or train lines (including the JR or Shinkansen). The room itself was very clean and tidy. It was a comfortable size for us (superior double room) and had everything that we needed to settle-in and enjoy the city. I'd highly recommend visitors to stay at Millennium Mitsui and I can confidently say that if we visit Tokyo again this is where we'll stay.
Thank you for staying Millennium Mitsui Garden Hotel Tokyo and sharing your great experience with us. We are so pleased that you chose our hotel as your entrance to Tokyo. We are glad that you found our location to be great for your stay. We are very lucky to be in so central to explore all of the main tourist attractions, whilst being tucked away in a quiet space. We are also indeed few steps away from Ginza Station just as you mentioned. We hope you fully enjoyed all Tokyo’s delights. Regarding your room, we are glad that you found it to be clean and tidy. We do put lots of efforts to maintain our facility perfectly hygienic condition. We are also very glad that you found everything you needed in your room and felt comfortable in there. We appreciate your compliments on our staff service as well. We are delighted to learn that you will be staying with us again. We shall keep on delivering on your expectations and look forward to welcoming you back soon. Best Regards, Millenniu
I Love This Hotel”
I loved my stay at the Millennium Mitsui and I will stay here again in the future, possibly every time I visit Tokyo. The furnishings are comfortable and modern and the lobby is beautiful. It's perfect walking distance from the fish market, a main train station and I couldn't be happier with their staff if I tried. I came down with tonsillitis while I was in Tokyo and I made 1 call to the front desk and everything was taken care of from the cab ride to the doctor to my arrival back at the hotel. Another factor which is important to me as a traveler is Internet/wifi and the Mitsui had the best I've encountered in Asia. I could easily access everything I needed almost as if I were in my own place. To sum up, the Millennium Mitsui isn't the grandest hotel in Tokyo but it had everything I needed from an $ exchange kiosk in the lobby to superb staff that helped with anything and everything I needed during my stay. I will definitely be returning to this hotel.
The last stop”
While visiting Japan on our honeymoon we planned to stay at 4 different hotels 3 of which around tokyo. The Millennium mitsui garden hotel tokyo had everything we loved about all are hotels all rolled into one. The subway line directly outside the lobby, it's right in the middle of all the action in ginza, and excellent customer service. Definately shows why they earned a Michelin award.
Excellent hotel location”
We truly enjoyed our stay at the Millennium Mitsui Garden Hotel Tokyo as the services provided by them was efficient and excellent. The front desk officers are very polite, friendly and understand the needs of the customers. In addition, they can communicate in English which make communication easier for us. I wish to thank everyone in this hotel that made our stay there a very pleasant experience. We checked out at 12pm but our flight was at night, the hotel was willing to keep our luggages for us. They even received our couriered luggages on our behalf while we were out for a day tour.
Great Stay in Ginza”
The hotel is very near Higashi-Ginza station. The moment we walked out of the hotel, we are able to take the elevator to the train station. Hotel staff are helpful with our queries and provided us the direction to take the train to Haneda Airport. The room is clean and spacious and we were able to open 2 big luggages and 1 medium luggage with ease. Thank you Millennium Mitsui Garden Hotel Tokyo for the great and comfortable stay.
Thank you for choosing and staying at Millennium Mitsui Garden Hotel Tokyo for your recent stay in Japan. We would like to welcoming your next staying soon again.
Best Hotel in Ginza”
It was my family's second stay in Millenium Mitsui Garden. It is conveniently located along one of the main streets in Ginza with an entrance to the subway station (Higashi-Ginza) right outside the hotel. The best part about this hotel is the overall cleanliness, especially their bathrooms (which I have high standards for). There was not much language barrier as their staff could speak English/Mandarin. The rate might be more expensive than other hotels but the quality and comfort you will be experiencing is definitely worth it! I have only recommended this hotel to my friends. Will I stay here for my next trip to Tokyo? YES. Hope the hotel will continue to keep their standards and maintenance high. (My first time submitting a hotel review)
Dear Mr./Ms. Jan Thank you for your previous stay at Milliennium Mitsui Garden Hotel Tokyo. We are so appreciated to have this amazing praise. Your fun chatting with your friends about your traveling at tokyo including stay at our hotel willl make our new opportunity to communicate with new guests.Thank you very much. We are looking forward to seeing you very soon. Best regards, YUSUKE OZAKI Millennium Mitsui Garden Hotel Tokyo.
Great Option in Heart of Tokyo”
The Millennium Mitsui Garden hotel is at the heart of Ginza, within walking distance to a lot of shopping areas - including the 12-storey Uniqlo! For Tokyo standards, the rooms are spacious enough. They're clean and well-maintained. The staff try their best, but because we had multiple rooms, it took them quite a while to sort out our room assignments. The food in the hotel restaurant is good - though you'll find better options in the excellent Japanese restaurants within walking distance to the hotel... Overall, I would come back to this hotel for its rooms, location and value for money.
Thank you for staying at Millennium Mitsui Garden Hotel Tokyo and taking the time to provide us warm review for your previous stay. We were most pleased to note that you found our hotel to be great value for your stay. Your kind commens on our staff service and room were delightful to read that you were satisfied with overall services we offered. We were also glad that our location could meet your expectations. We do have a very enviable location, within walking distance of many of the main tourist spots but also less than a 2 minute walk to the subway station too. Regarding the inconvenience caused by delay and par quality of breakfast, we would like to offer you our sincere apology. We hope his did not detract from your overall experience and please be rest assured that we are working diligently to improve our quality of service. We appreciate every word from you and hope to welcome you again soon. Best regards, Millennium Mitsui Garden Hotel Tokyo Manager
Great stay! ”
Cannot stay in any other ginza hotel. We have been truly spoiled by the best amenities and stellar location. Mitsui garden hotel is new and rooms are efficiently planned out. Rooms are little small, but hey this is tokyo. Location is top notch. Higashi ginza exit A1 is right in front. Ippudo and a fabulous "eat standing up" steak house is just on the other side of the street. A ministop is nearby for those late night hunger pangs. Hotel staff is knowledgeable and always ready with info and a smile. Love this hotel.
Great hotel, great location”
We had a wonderful stay at the Millennium Mitsui Garden Hotel Tokyo. It's a new hotel, very modern and very clean. The location - 1 block from the famous 4-Chome Crossing in Ginza - cannot be beat. And it was a very reasonable price.
Great Location in Gina.”
We enjoyed the Hotel travelling with young children. It was close by to the major shopping area. It was a bonus to find a fantastic Indian vegetarinan restaurant nearby. The request to have two rooms next door. Both room and bathrooms are nice and clean. I can't fault the Millennium Mitsui Garden Hotel Tokyo. It was a pleasant stay I will choose to stay again.
Thank you for staying at Millennium Mitsui Garden Hotel and providing us your precious review. We are very happy that we could manage to exceed your expectation. It was delightful to read that you found your room to be well-appointed and clean, we designed all the rooms to blend practical and modern whilst having a very strict hygiene checking system to maintain our normally high standards. We are glad that we were able to provide a cozy and comfortable environment for your family. We were also delighted that you enjoyed the location of the hotel. We are truly near to various transport links, many of the upscale shops and some of Tokyo's famous sites. We are thrilled that you would consider staying with us again and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Best Regards, Millennium Mitsui Garden Hotel Tokyo Manager
Great location, polite and helpful staff”
Location is perfect! Walking distance to all our favourite spots in Ginza. Close to Metro and JR stations. We visit Tokyo at least twice a year for over a decade and not one hotel ever let us check in before the stated time. We routinely arrive on red eye flight which gave us like 3 hours sleep arriving at the hotel before 9am. The hotels we previously stayed in always only let us check in at 3pm, but Millennium Mitsui let us check in after lunch so we could freshen up before heading out again. Hotel staffs are help and polite - we are Asians but hold EU passports and the staff tried to say "Thank you" to us in the language according to our nationality - it's not a common language that everyone speaks esp in Japan. Rooms are well kept, looks newly renovated and very clean. The only con is that there are many tourists opening and packing their suitcases in the limited areas in the lobby. This caused some inconvenience and discomfort. Also, there were children running and screaming down the hallway and their parents couldn't care less- they might be from HK as they spoke Cantonese. The good thing is the hotel staff kindly advised them to keep it down and the noise stopped. Also, quite many tourists from places where manners might not matter as there were lots of pushing in the elevators and absolutely no concept of queueing up of the elevators. We could have stayed in say Ritz or MO if we wanted to avoid this, but this location is unbeatable, so we may stay there again next time despite this tiny flaw, which by the way is not the hotel's fault.
Comfortable stay, great location and nice amenities! ”
Located in the less busy and crowded side of Ginza, Millennium Mitsui Garden Hotel is perfect for travelers who love to go mall shopping in Ginza. Ginza six and Mitsukoshi are just minute walk distance. The hotel itself is very new and has great amenities. Will definitely recommend!

We were delighted to read that you had enjoyed your stay with us and found the location to be well suited to your requirements whilst in Tokyo. We are very lucky to enjoy a central Ginza location near to some great shopping areas and tourist attractions. You can also find fantastic array of cafes, bars and restaurants near us. We were delighted to know that hotel facility and the amenities did live up to your expectations. We designed all rooms to blend the practical and convenient. We hope you could find everything you need during your stay. Thank you for the precious feedback again. We look forward to welcoming you back to our modern, well- equipped and friendly home again soon. Best Regards, Millennium Mitsui Garden Hotel Tokyo Manager
Great Location in Ginza”
I stayed for 5 nights on a business trip. I caught the Limousine bus to the nearby Courtyard Marriot and walked with my luggage to the Millennium Mitsui Garden. It was about a 500m walk, not too bad:) The room was very comfortable and well laid out. Not large but to be expected in central Tokyo. The staff were very helpful for all requests. I was a little disappointed to find at the price I paid, about USD280pn, there was no Gym or Pool. I assumed there would be. But apparently quite standard in Tokyo not to have such facilities. Would definitely stay again though.
Perfect location and excellent facility”
The hotel is located at Ginza, which is perfect for shopping. There is only one stop far from the Tsukiji market, people who want to experience the largest seafood trading market in Asia, the Millenium Mitsui Garden Hotel would be a best choice to live in. People can easily find a balance between shopping and eating. The room condition and facilities are amazing to me, I think the only one disadvantage of this hotel is the room space--- a little bit small for a family with a kid. Anyway, I had a pretty good experience at this hotel.
Location and Convenience”
If you like shopping in the Ginza area, Millennium Mitsui Garden Hotel's location is excellent. They have ample staff to support the guests of the hotel. Also, many breakfast places within 2-3 minutes from the hotel.
Really Great Location!”
It is definitely recommended for those who wants to travel using subway, the Higashi-Ginza Station is just right in front of the hotel, what can I ask for more?! We used the subway to go to Ueno, Asakusa and Disneyland, basically is very very convenient and easy with minimal station changing. The hotel room size is just nice for tokyo city, the room is well kept, clean and it already came with ironing board and universal converter which to me is very thoughtful! The staffs here are very polite and helpful. This hotel is very close to the shopping area, and also Tsukiji Fish Market which is a must-visit place. Basically you able to spend whole day just walking around this Ginza area with lots of shopping and eating. We din take the breakfast-including package as the price seems not worth it, however you able to find many many reataurants just few blocks away which offering ~1000-2000¥ meal. Definitely recommend to friends who plan to visit tokyo.
Thank you for staying at Millennium Mitsui Garden Hotel Tokyo and taking the time to provide us your precious review. We are pleased that you mentioned our locational advantage. We are ideally located in order to explore all that Ginza has to offer and also to visit other area of Tokyo. We hope you had wonderful time while staying with us. We are delighted to read your comment on amenities, cleanliness, and the staff service. We constantly strive to exceed the guests’ expectations by providing high standard services to ensure an enjoyable and comfortable stay for our guests. Regarding the breakfast, we are glad you could enjoy various meals around us. When you revisit us, please try our restaurant, we offer all-day dining through the hours of a day in Ginza, it is good to try at any time. Thank you for your comment. We hope to see you again at Millennium Mitsui Garden Hotel Tokyo with the best service ever. Best regards, Millennium Mitsui Garden Hotel Tokyo Manager
Millennium Mitsui is the best hotel in Ginza.”
The best hotel for me.. We were treated like family by its kind hearted manager and staffs. My daughter was sick on my last day and Shino was so helpful in every way. Bringing me water at the wee hours of the morning and calling the Van company to make our pick up half an hour late so my daughter can still sleep some more before leaving for Narita Airport. The Hotel manager was also very compassionate to give us an upgrade after i told him i am a returning guest. Bravo to you guys! And thank you so much for taking very good care of our needs. See you again on March 22 :) God bless Millennium Mitsui!!!
Fantastic hotel in a great location”
We had one night we had to stay on a very busy time (the weekend before school starts) and booked this hotel because of its high rating and availbility. We could not have been happier. The hotel is smack dab inbetween Higashi Ginza and Ginza stations (call hotel for the correct exit to use). The entry is stunning and the rooms are equally well designed. We were blown away. Possibly the best modern interior design of any hotel we have stayed at in Japan (and we have stayed in 20+ different hotels). The location is absolutely great, good access to Ginza, Kabuki-za, Tsukiji, subways, etc. We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel but the dining area looked comfortabla and the food looked good. We did get a late night bite at our favorite budget gourmet place, Ootoya, which s literally so close to the hotel the front desk clerk left his station and escorted us to the restaurant. I could go on and on. We will *definitely* stay here again on our next trip to Tokyo. We were so surprised and happy with this hotel.
Clean and modern hotel, great location”
The hotel has a modern feel. Rooms are quite small but seem to be bigger compared with other Tokyo hotels. We booked a superior room and we had a good view of the street and other buildings. Rooms are cleaned daily. Great location! Its in the heart of Ginza. The hotel is a few steps away from thw Higashi Ginza station (A1 exit) Its nice to stroll at night, go inside the shops and also look at their Christmas decors. High end stores and also mid range shops are in the area (12-fl Uniqlo, Gap, H & M). Marunouchi is just across the hotel and Matsuya Ginza is in the area too. There are many restaurants in the area. Tsukiji Market is just a short walk from the hotel. The Kabukiza Theatre is also across the street. Try to catch one of their shows. Airport Limousine pick up is just near the hotel. 5 mins walk. Hotel is on the pricey side but worth the location and convenience. Will stay here again with the family next time.
Thank you for staying at Millennium Mitsui Garden Hotel Tokyo. We really appreciate the time and effort you have taken to give us your precious comment on the services we provide. We are also delighted that you chose to celebrate your honeymoon with us. We hope you had unforgettable time in Tokyo. Location is one of our biggest strengths. We are close to subway station, restaurants. It is easy to walk to Tukiji market just as you mentioned, lots of our guest loved it and given us positive feedback on that.
