Good breakfast
The only problem is the toilet seat cover. I do not feel comfortable have to use the same fabric toilet seat cover shared by so many other guests. Other than that, we had a good stay

Best experience ever had!
I have to say that the host is super nice. They made quite good breakfast, you could get a yummy cookies as welcome dish when come back, they really made me feel like home. If I would go there twice, I would definitely stay here again and bring them good wine lol.

Very friendly host
The old man host was very nice, we were treated with a few small gifts after the stay as a thank you. You can feel like staying in a local's place here. Parking was free and very close to the place

Super friendly Mr Ogawa and family!
This is probably the best hotel I have ever stayed, not because of the place but the comfort and hospitality that the owner of the ryokan , Mr Ogawa and his family had given to me and my family. I felt so much like home and had a good feel of Japanese home thanks to Ogawa family. They were very considerate and my daughter remarked that the complimentary tea and small treat we were welcomed with was truly refreshing as we had arrived there exhausted and thirsty after a whole day out and long travel. Mr Ogawa was so warm and friendly that he extended his free help beyond his obligation to send us to Asahiyama Zoo, City tour until I have to stop him because of lack of time. He even treated my daughter ice cream and gifted a good blessing. His wife and daughter also gave us their handmade souvenirs as a parting gift to remember our memories at Hokkaido. We really enjoyed staying there. Oh, and not to forget to mention the kawaii family cat , "Koryugi" is well trained and friendly. I will surely visit them again if I go to Hokkaido again.

Traditional Japanese style home for tourist
It is located very close to the railway station. You can park your car in their parking lot and walk to the station in which you can enjoy the food and shopping. The floor of the room is covered by Tatami and the sound insulation of the room is not good enough, so it will be a problem if you had an easy-crying baby with you, like us. We are very sorry for bothering the owner and other tourists. Otherwise, it is an excellent hostel for traveler.

Simple friendly ryokan
The owner is very friendly and helpful. Check in is smooth. We had separate sleeping and living room. The building and interior is dated but it is well maintained and clean. Location is great with shopping street just minutes away. Jingisukan daikokuya is just a minute walk away and we were blown away with the quality of lamb served. A must try.
