Overall it is nice, the staff are efficient from checking me in and out. The room is surprisingly spacious for that price. The bed is quite comfortable to me, i don’t have much issue with it. The location of the hotel is basically not bad, there is Imago shopping mall right across the big street. You’d want to walk some distance, and cross the pedestrian bridge. Before you across the bridge, there is a building called Sutera Avenue with some cafe, eatery and i believe there is a rooftop bar all within walking distance (depends if u willing to walk). Otherwise, you can just call for Grab either for food delivery or to drive you around. There is a convenience store at the ground floor, i believe it’s 24hrs, so you could get some snacks and drinks if you’re feeling hungry at night. However; The tv in the room has bad reception, you could hear sounds but the pictures are terribly grainy. There are some defects, some mold at the tiles in the bathroom here and there. It’s minor, but once you see it, you’ll start noticing more and more. The building conditions towards the other wing of the hotel aka South China Sea Place Suite, where my room is located especially are not really maintained well, which is understandable since it’s kind of old building. So overall its a good choice if you want to opt for a budget hotel that are comfortable and in between of most places of interest. I hope that the hotel management will improve the conditions of the building better in the future.
