Customer-oriented staff”
We had booked the wrong dates and were shocked to discover the mistake on the day of check-in. The hotel front office staff, Ms Loo, promptly assured us vacant room was available, this relieved the worry that we might have to spend the night in the Cingjing wilderness. Instead of requesting us to purchase new room booking because the original booking date was over, Ms Loo had been very kind and resourceful to advise us to contact Agoda to amend the booking. We contacted Agoda and successfully made the booking amendment without incurring additional cost, many thanks to Tristan (Agoda) and Ms Loo. We felt bad for Ming Ging Farm because the hotel had lost one night of revenue due to our mistake, but hey, Ming Ging Farm and Agoda have won us over with their customer-oriented policy. We enjoyed our stay at Ming Ging Farm, highly recommended this hotel and confident they can be counted on in times of need.

Wonderful scenery, fresh air and a lovely getaway”
We arrived by bus and asked for a pick-up at the train station. Te reception staff was very quick by responding to our mail and organised everything. We had a room in building A, just above the reception. As the hotel was almost fully booked, there was some noise from he outside and the resturant we could hear. From the room although we had a great view, especially in the morning. It is really orth to wake up early. We had one main contact person from the restaurant, which was probably then one who could speak the best english. She was very lovely and helpful. She organized the shuttle for the cingjing farm and wrote a day plan in english for us, just in case we would get lost or did not know what to do. In the evening we ate at the restaurant at ming ging farm, which provides set menu in a more western style. It was ok to eat there, as we did not have our own car. The price from 380 NT up was ok. If there are many hotel guests they offer a buffet which was really good.

Spacious Room with Nice & Comfy beds”
Ming Jing Farm is really Cosy .The Deco in the minshu is Euro -styled and gives a warm & comfortable "home" feelings. Our room is at Block A (second level)& going for breakfast is just below our room.So convenient !Our room was spacious,clean and bed really comfy! The Staff was really friendly and helpful.We had a tour of the herb and vegetables farm at Ming Jing conducted by Mr Lin,the boss .He was knowledgeable about the plants,flowers and we certainly learnt much from him.He was really warm and humble ! We surely would come back to stay next time !!

Beautiful place ”
Like to stay longer, maybe next time. Nice area and wonderful rooms to stay for a true R and R. Food is okay with wide variety of choices, value for money because like the Western set dish. There is an accompany buffet spread for your salads and carb items to accompany the entree you order. On the overall, I like Ming Ging, no regrets. Tip.: upon arrival book your slot for going to the green green grassland the next day, next day us too late already. Happy travels.

Friendly and helpful staff in Ming Ging Farm hotel”
Great stay in Ming Ging Farm. We are able to upgrade our rooms upon our arrival. But of course there is extra charges for the upgrading. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would like to give compliments to this counter staff, Lisa. She is really helpful and going to the extra miles in serving us. Overall, I really enjoyed the stay in Ming Cing Farm.

the hotel meets all my requirements and needs. the services are excellent. Free shuttle van service from hotel to the nearby attractive spots. remember to get promotional ticket over the counter for 'green green grass'. Every morning there will be an introductory briefing regarding the Ming Qing Farm by the owner at 8am. i really appreciate it. good job and keep it up.

Good view from the hotel”
we arrived the hotel earlier than the check in time, the room was not ready yet. we left our luggage there and they will deliver the luggage to our room once it was ready, a plus point! the lobby is located at house a, while our room is at house b (just beside house a). heard there is 4 houses for ming ging farm so you need to check which house you are staying in. transfer can be arranged at selected timing to the assembly point where the restaurant and convenient shops are located at. we were briefed by the staff about the area and dropped just outside the green farm(where you can see the sheep). the room is clean and nice, but without a view (probably due to we booked the cheapest one). once you step out the house, the magnificent mountains are all just in front of you! we arrived late at the restaurant at 9.30am(the breakfast only served from 7-9am), the staff still served us a nice breakfast and says they never gonna let us starve!

Pleasant but not easily accessible”
Once we arrived, we really enjoyed our stay at Ming Ging Farm. The only thing to note is that it takes quite a long time to get there by bus. It is situated very high up in the mountains, and the scenery was spectacular (when we could see it through the heavy rain). The food was surprisingly good (the hot pot for dinner particularly nice) and the room was well-appointed, if slightly small. The garden tour mentioned by other visitors is sadly only offered in Chinese, so we couldn't participate.

Lovely Hotel with a Fantastic View”
The first thing that we like about the hotel is the European design of the buildings, as well as the view at the front decks overlooking the mountain, river and valley . Interior design of the hall, dinning area and room are all very cozy and warm. It was a pleasant surprise to see Peter Rabbit there! Room and attached toilet are clean and well kept. Service are good even though we were a bit annoyed and surprised by the compulsory spending of a minimum amount at the restaurant for every guest that goes in. ( not sure if that applies to other meal.) My daughter wanted just a hot soup as she was not really hungry; but that was not possible as they only have set dinner menu. She was "forced" to order at least a main course in order to remain in the restaurant. Prices of the set dinner are not expensive though. Buffet breakfast was simple and good, with a choice of western and Chinese spread. We enjoyed the tour of the herbs and vegetables farm around the hotel. Was impressed that the hotels actually grow them for their own consumption. Every guest was given a few bags of free vegetables and herds after the tour. Wow, so generous of them! Fantastic place for star gazing at night, especially after the lights are switched off at 11pm.

loved the place. nice view from hotel, you can see the clouds below. rooms are big and clean. and staff are helpful about any enquiries we have. free tours are available and shutte to qing jing farm. just call to arrange for return trip to hotel. nice cool weather, may get cold when it rains. room comes with heater air con function. staff will makeup the rooms if you request.

Europe-like scenery!”
The general area is mountainous, meaning one should manage expectations regarding availability of amenities (convenience stores, shopping, etc). Once that's done, MingGing is a great option in the area - it has its own restaurant, serving a versatile range of food, and is a very clean and well-run restaurant. What sets the place apart if the view from its garden - a huge alfresco extension of the restaurant. Imagine dining 1000 feet above the hills, valleys and lakes - that's the view.

Great views at a mile high”
My wife and I stayed in Ming Ging's "B" annex, which was very quiet. We had a garden view, which isn't nearly as spectacular as the valley/mountain view, but quiet and relatively charming. The fog rolled in around 4pm every night so most views this high up are obscured late in the day. (Although surprisingly it was crystal clear at sunrise.) Definitely worth it for the view and peace and quiet.

Nice place to stay Very cooling at night -Able to view the environment so soothing and pleasant - breakfast decent -However abit inconvenient to travel to the place. - asked staff regarding free transport from ming ging to travel up to cing ging , told me they don't provide which I know they do provide , got. Got my Friend to ask the next minute and in the end say there is trransport provided . Dissapointed in how Inconsistent the way they provide their reply

Comfortable stay with awesome view”
It was an excellent stay. We were given level 1 rooms at Block C with a small garden attached to the room. Walk out to the private garden, we were welcomed with fresh air and an excellent view of the mountains and sea. However, the hotel was a 8min drive away from the central area where 7-11 and other attractions were located, so have to prepare ourselves with some snacks in case hungry during the night. Room was spacious and clean with a big bath tub and shower room to choose. Hotel owner is very thoughtful to equip the rooms with heater and strong wifi. Prompt and nice customer service when we requested for 2 extra pillows with no further questions asked. :) Will come back again if I visit Qing Jing Farm the next time.

Overall satisfied. Great view n spacious room”
Reception staff wasn't as friendly and helpful as what i expected. Hotel rooms are nice with beautiful view. However,was staying at level two. Had to carry the luggage up and down the stairs. Requested for 3 rooms to be together or at least be in the same building but 2 rooms were allocated in another building instead. My family members had to call for the shuttle bus to bring them up to the main building for the breakfast. Overall,still a place which i will consider if i go cingjing again

Sweet and lovely hotel!”
Located on the mountain with great view, and the services were awesome. The hotel provided us a free ride to and form the Qing Jing Farm, and also the ride to the bus stop!! There is a free tour in the morning at 8am that we planned to go but didn't go as my girlfriend was sick! The front desk was really nice and help us find medicine for my girlfriend!

Wonderful Stay”
it is a very nice and cosy hotel located in the middle of the hill. it is like a english cottage in a "old mcdonald style" there is a free farm visit tour every morning but unfortunately it is cancelled in the rainy day. it also offer fresh veggies to all of the guests.

relaxing place with blooming flowers view”
- they provide shuttle service to CingJing Farm - torch lights are provided at night when you decide to go for night walk - had a fun and interesting conversation with one of their staff when the lights within the compound was switched off.A starry sky view can be seen at their patio extension.
