Relaxing and Awesome”
My Family and I (6 Pax) Stayed only for 1 Night. It is a gorgeous pent house home stay by the bay. Well kept and Clean. They also provide boat rides out to other islands for 100TWD only. The boat rides are easily accessible. Simply exit from the Hotel via their cafe and you can get on board already. Pent House is on the Last floor, over looking Sun Moon Lake. Its surroundings include many eateries and convenience store. Its a MUST try, once in a life time experience. Breakfast was average. You could do with breakfast elsewhere. Pent House includes 2 Queen Size bed on the 2nd floor with a personal balcony. First floor, another Queen Size bed also with another balcony. Toilet only on the first floor, Full length window overlooking Sun Moon Lake as well.

Great stay with excellent view of sun moon lake”
The staffs were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. You can enjoy the great scenic view of the sun moon lake from the room. Comfortable bed, big bath tub. It is very near to the public transport. It is very accessible. Near to the ferry.

The hotel is just located within close walking distance from the Sun Moon Lake Visitors Centre. The lady boss and boss are very friendly and helpful. My Double Room with Lake View though a little pricey for a B&B, has an unblocked view of the lake from the private balcony and the separate bathtub area which is very beautiful and awesome to catch the Sunrise, the room is very spacious and clean. For those who wanna have a tipple or 2, can head to the alfresco bar & BBQ bistro, Sunny Lake Wonder (日光湖畔Lounge), which is just 2 shops away beside the hotel. I would recommend this place as compared to the much over-priced hotels nearby if one wants to have a unblocked lakeview.

Book a lake view room if you can, steps from the wharf and great overall location for exploring Sun Moon Lake. Not to far of a walk from the bus station either. Rooms are nice and beds above average. Great Vakue for Sun Moon Lake....

Great location”
Location was great. Less than 5mins walk to the buses that goes around Sun Moon Lake as well as to and fro town, and just in front of the pier for the boat rides. The view was also great from our balcony. However, the owner recommended us to purchase a boat ride at a discounted rate of NTD150 per pax. We did and rushed for the boat ride that operates at every stop at 40mins interval. Thereafter, we discovered other boat companies that operates at 10mins interval, offering NTD60-80 per pax. Suggest you to take a check around for boat ticket prices first before making any purchase.

Great view”
Got the room facing the Sun Moon Lake and it got a splendid view of Sun rise over the mountains. Room is spacious and has a big bath tub. Breakfast was good, home cooked style.

Nice family run hotel ”
Simple breakfast is provided. The hotel offers great view of the Sun Moon Lake and is an ideal place to stay when traveling the lake area. Restaurants and shops are just around. The only bad thing is no elevator.

We stayed in a lake-facing family suite. My relatives were booked into the twin room and note that there isn't a view for twin rooms. Small boutique hotel just by the lake and a flight of stairs away from the ferry terminal. A great place for a one-night stay where access to shopping, food and transport is readily available.

Sufficient for an overnight stay”
Staff was slow and not very enthusiastic. The boat tickets sold by them are like 1/3 the normal price though, so that was worth it. The bathtub was weird, pretty high with no steps available from the outside. Not suitable for elderly people. Water pressure was acceptable, and like all other places in Sun Moon Lake that i've stayed so far, the water temperature cycles from hot to cold repeatedly. Not a problem for the more stoic amongst us. Soundproofing is like non-existent :)

The location is good. Requested for lake view room but was not informed not given. Alot of eating place in the surrounding, minus point is there is no elevator. Difficult if you carrying big luggage bag & elderly. The front desk staff as commented by some other reviewer is really expressionless but the male is very friendly. The store owner in front of the hotel is very friendly too, would recommend where to go. Overall, the stay is good because of the great location.

Scenic view and relaxing stay”
Situated at the jetty means it is very convenient to take the boat to Itashao. You practically come to the basement and the jetty is at the doorstep. Was given a room with street view, nothing much to see. Mattress is bouncy okay if are not a light sleeper. Good size toilet with bathtub. Design is oldish but functional. Breakfast was sumptous with hot soup, bread, eggs & sausages. Value for money but if you are looking for a more luxurous stay probably not this place.

Quite nice not alot of variety in eating places. ”
Following a spa bath the drain water came up into the bathroom. We had to move rooms and move back again. This spoilt the experience somewhat. However the man David was very helpful and did his best to sort it out. No wifi connection in the room.Breakfast poor and woman preparing the breakfast was quite unfriendly.

It was not very cosy as the weather was super cold but there aren't heat machine in the room. But other than this it was overall okay for a small hotel like this.
