The room is spacious. Cleanliness is good. Hotel staff is friendly. It comes with a good breakfast. Location is excellent, in that it is not in district 1 so the price of food in nearby area is reasonable. But it is quite near to district 1 like Benh Thanh. You can walk there, or take a bus or taxi. I have always stayed at this hotel for the past 10 years and it has never fail to delight me.

The reception area was under construction when we arrived. The hotel should have informed me of this before I arrived. We showed up and were bombarded by the staff on the street outside the grab car for our booking confirmation and passports. It was really unprofessional.

A good quality, very reasonably priced hotel ”
We had a very good experience at Minh Khang Hotel. The location is good and we can easily access to the major tourist spots. The rooms are neat and clean. Comfortable beds, good air-conditioner, stable supply of hot water (though Vietnam is too hot in June that you do not need any hot water for shower) and free WIFI access in rooms. Nice breakfast (though when we were there, they serve non-Vietnamese breakfast including sandwiches, bacon and egg and Chinese soup noodles). The staff are particularly helpful and friendly. They always greet you with a big smile. It makes you feel like you are at home. If you are looking for a hotel with a good location, clean rooms, helpful and friendly staff and very reasonably priced, Minh Khang Hotel must be the place to go to. The price is very, very cheap and worthwhile given the location, services, the quality of rooms it offers. We will definitely stay in Minh Khang Hotel again when we go to Ho Chi Minh!

It was my last night in Ho Chi Minh City n I booked Minh Khang Hotel which was so nice. I booked deluxe room which has a nice view of the town and it closed to war museum and other attraction. The room was so large and nice and the staffs were very nice too. I love the food at their restaurant! This hotel is perfect for me. I would recommend every1 to stay there! :)

Modern and well-designed hotel in the centre”
The staff was incredibly professional, friendly and very good at English. I had looked for a long time to find a hotel that was perfect for a romantic stay for a European couple, and I was so excited when I found the photos for Minh Khang hotel on Agoda. First of all, the rooms are much bigger and brighter than most hotels in Saigon, and the design is minimalist with light colours. We had a balcony which was wonderful for bit of fresh air. The bathroom was very large and modern, and the room facilities exceeded our expectations with coffee/tea, safe, laundry service, wifi and daily cleaning. The hotel itself is in a very good location with 10min taxi ride to all the tourist spots but it is quiet and much more authentic than the expensive Dong Khoi or the brawling Bui Vien. Breakfast was included and had a limited, but very diverse menu of foreigner-friendly Vietnamese dishes. I have recommended this hotel to all my tourist friends who have visited Saigon, and I would definitely do the same to Agoda browsers. Excellent, excellent value for money.

Ho Chi Minh is a very busy city, The Minh Khang hotel was an oase of rest and peace for us.. The staff was very helpfull and friendly, the rooms were very new, modern and clean, the food and drinks in the restaurant were ok, you have to check out the massage and spa on the top floors of the building... enjoy your stay!

Minh Khang - Great spot in Saigon.”
Minh Khang is 1 district over from District 1.. its actually within walking distance of two huge parks, a bug shopping district with a fantastic multi-screen cinema, and the War Remnants Museum. If you dont feel like walking, Uber is active in Saigon, and can take you nearly anywhere for a couple of bucks. I think my ride to the airport was $2. The room at Minh Khang was clean, and orderly.. their laundry service made a shirt id long since given up on gleam like new. There is also an in house non-happy-ending massage place on the second floor. The restaraunt down stairs is cheap, and very tasty. Their Bo Luc Lac was some of the best I'd had in South Vietnam.

Great Stay and Service with a Smile”
We had a great stay at Minh Khang hotel. The staff were always friendly and helpful. After a couple of days, they recognized us and remembered our room number. They helped us book a few day trips outside the city and always willing to help call a taxi. The breakfasts were great! The food was always delicious and arrived fairly quickly. There was a good selection of food as well. Not a buffet, but still decent. The room was comfortable. It was clean and had everything that was needed. We enjoyed our stay there, the bed was good, the air conditioning worked. We had access to a TV and phone and bathroom amenities. A couple of things that were amiss: There was no safe in the room, the fridge worked but was missing a railing to hold items on the door and the shower is not separate from the toilet. We are used to it because we are currently living in Korea, but would have appreciated a separate shower. Overall, we were really happy with our stay.

Hotel is beyond expectation & friendly staff”
We feel that the hotel deserved more than 3 stars rating. The room is way beyond our expectation; it is clean, nicely designed, comfortable. Staffs are friendly although some receptionists still need to speak more in English; they had tried their level best to assist us. They never forgot to smile. The location of the hotel is strategically situated in this part of the city where it is not crowded with activities but near enough to the major spot where all shops is located. It was such amazing experience although it was just a short transit stay in Minh Khang Hotel, Saigon. We highly recommend this hotel to all the travelers out there.

Great hotel with good service”
i like this hotel because the hotel is clean and location is good for me, even we still have to walk around 15 min to the centre town, but it is quiet during night and we can sleep well without the outside noisy sound. the staffs are very helpful and friendly, some staff even can speak cantonese which make us feel surprise. the room is big with a comfortable bed believe this hotel is still very new and most important the hotel price is very reasonable. the breakfast is not the buffet style and we have to order thru the menu, but the food is delicious! especially the prawn noodles. i’ll definitely introduce this hotel to my friend those that going to ho chi minh soon.

Great Hotel, but a little out of the way”
My stay at Minh Khang Hotel was great. The rooms was spacious(superior), clean and perfect. Counter staff was really friendly and helpful, they helped us booked our ferry tickets to Vung Tau, provided us with maps, helped us called for cabs and was happy to keep our luggages before check-in and after checking out. Breakfast was great too, with a choice of main and drink. A full body massage on the 8th floor came up to only 105,000VND and was really comfortable in a nice room. Only downside was that the location was off city centre, but nothing a short cab ride can't solve. Also a note that the hotel is currently doing some works on the 6th floor, so it was kind of noisy, but was not a big issue for us.

the hotel was in the heart of ho chi minh city, with the main attractions (war museum, reunification palace) in walking distance. the room was clean and had a wonderful, western style, shower. the staff was very friendly and spoke english quite well. the included breakfast was delicious and served in their lobby which had views of the street- great for people watching! a great place to stay!

New hotel with great service”
We stayed in Minh Khang hotel for 2 nights and we loved it. We booked it, because it is in district 3, which should be more quiet than district 1. It was more quiet, but still there was a lot of traffic. Luckily we had a room on the top floor and on the back, so the traffic didn't bother us that much. The location is a bit out of the way, it takes a 15 minute walk to the tourist area, but it is OK, if you don't mind to walk. The hotel is just 2 months old and it was great. It is really modernly decorated and the rooms are great. We booked a standard room, but we got an upgrade to a superior room without even asking!! The rooms are spacious and clean with a decent bathroom. The breakfast though could be better; you have to order from a menu, which consists mainly out of soup and noodles and omelettes. The bread is rahter old there. If you like a more western breakfast, don't have your breakfast here, there are many other restaurants where you can eat for little money. On the day we had to leave, we asked if we could have the room a bit longer, so we could take another shower before we left. Since the hotel was fully booked (it was christmas day), we couldn't get the room. Instead the hotel offered us to shower at their spa, where we could get a free massage and use the sauna and jacuzzi too, if we wanted. No need to tell you that this was better than just a shower in the room!

well received upon arrival. nice staff, friendly and helpful. hotel is new, all the rooms and services are well appointed, and real good value for money. location isn't a problem, only 15 minutes walking distance from all hcmc tourist activities. from the hotel only a few minutes walking to some awesome good local restaurants in town. the whole neighbourhood feels safe, pleasant and clean. overall a good experience and highly recommended for any business or leisure traveller. definitely to book again on our next trip to ho chi minh city.

Nice new hotel but could be better”
Hotel is new so rooms are in great condition with nice decor and are quite large for Ho Chi Minh. Our bathroom filled with water whenever we had a shower which was a bit annoying and hotel seemed to cater predomnantly for locals so lobby was always filled with smoke and rooms might start to smell smokey soon. Breakfast comprised of one ordered dish and one drink and the only western option was eggs with a roll which was not really up to standard and the only drink included was tea coffee or soft drink which was a bit strange. Still a reasonably good choice for the price at the moment but I get the impression that the quality of the rooms will deteriorate. About a 10 min walk from main backpacker area and from up market tourist area but close to palace (which isn't very good) and war museum.
