Great value for money”
The location is very convenient, right next to Shin-Kobe station with plenty of food and shopping options nearby. The service is great and the staff are very friendly. Overall, it's a great value for money. The rooms are spacious for the price, although they do show their age a bit, they are still clean and okay for me. The elevator decoration is cute. Breakfast includes both Western and Japanese options, and each person gets their own meal voucher to dine in the garden on the 5th floor, which is a comfortable space. The Western-style dishes are also quite tasty, although there is a slight oily smell. Overall, it's a great value for the price and I would consider staying at MiDo again for future business trips.

A clean and tidy hotel with artistic atmosphere”
Great interior decoration and convenient location near Xinpujiang. The price is affordable without compromising quality. The room is clean and tidy, perfect for a good rest after a day of travel. If I come to Kaohsiung again, I will choose this place ^^

Everything was perfect except for the soundproofing”
The room is very clean! The bed is comfortable! This time we got a room facing the main road! The soundproof windows are great and there is no noise! The bathroom amenities are high-end and complete! The only problem is that the sound insulation between rooms is poor! The first night, the guests in the next room watched TV and chatted all night, which kept us awake and disturbed our sleep! Also, there are only six parking spaces in the flat parking lot! If there are no spaces available, you can only park on the roadside and absorb the parking fee yourself.

Will come back to stay next time”
There are teddy bears in the elevator to accompany you, which children love. The room is clean and comfortable, and the staff are enthusiastic and alert. The nearby turkey rice is delicious.

High CP value”
Located in the city center, second stay, a hotel with a rural style. The elevator feels like a freight elevator that has been renovated to match the overall style of the hotel. There is also a cute bear... Perhaps due to the impact of the epidemic, the price is very cheap, but the expected services are not reduced, and breakfast is included. In terms of hotels in the city, the value for money is really high~

Very good”
The hotel is bit old, but kept clean. Sufficient serving of breakfast with choices of Chinese or Western set. Near the shopping street. The only drawback is the relative long walk from the metro station.

Lovely boutqiue hotel!”
Stayed in Mirador Hotel for 4 days during March 2012. This hotel is located around 3-5min walk from the train station and have many eateries around. Sinkuchan district with many shopping and roadside stalls are also located very near the hotel. The staff were very friendly, and provided many recommendations on places for traditional breakfast and for sightseeing, and how to get to those places. Interior design of the room was very princess-y and the doors of rooms were locked via passcodes, which is great as you do not have to worry about whether you've brought the room card out, and if you've misplaced it. There is also a rooftop garden, and breakfast is served at the garden, which creates very soothing and elegant ambience. Food served for breakfast is also very tasty! (: There is free WiFi in the hotel as well, and connection is relatively fast. However, sound proofing of rooms in the hotel is not the best and laughter can easily be heard from outside the room. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay in this hotel and would definitely stay in this hotel again if I visit Kaohsiung again.

Great Service, Location but small rooms”
The hotel is located about 10 mins away, by taxi, from Kaohsiung Main Station. It is about 5-10 mins walk from the nearest train station, Central Park Station, and also the Wufu Shopping district and Xinjuejiang Shopping area. There is also the Zhonghua Night Market that is a wet market in the day and night market at night. The hotel itself has a European decor. The rooms are nicely decorated but it's a bit small. The breakfast area is on the rooftop. Breakfast is not buffet-style. Each guest gets a serving. Beside the breakfast area is a rooftop garden. It's a nice place to chill out at night but there is not much of a view from there except the street below. Service at the hotel is great. The receptionist was patient in explaining the various places of attraction we could visit and how to get there. Overall it was a nice experience staying at the Mirador and we would stay there again the next time we visit Kaohsiung.

Great Location with Friendly, Helpful Service”
The Mirador is a cozy little hotel in the middle of a bustling shopping district. The hotel is very clean without feeling sterile, thanks to tasteful decorative touches in the rooms. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful not only during the stay, but even mailing a sweater I had forgotten in the room after checking out. If you are visiting Kaohsiung, the Mirador is a great value.

Oh So Pretty!”
We had four nights in Kaohsiung at the end of a 19 night trip through Taiwan (our first visit to Taiwan, definitely won't be our last). As we were arriving in Kaohsiung for a milestone birthday of one of our group, we decided to stay somewhere with a bit of panache, rather than just a place to shower and sleep. Apart from a good location and reasonable value for money, the Mirador Hotel is very very pretty! From its decorative facade to the lovely little rooftop garden, from the elegant lobby to the charming little lift complete with seating, from the dainty decorations of the corridors and stairways, to the Victorian-esque furnishings in the rooms, the Mirador Hotel is a feast for the eyes! Check in was quick and cheerful enough. We were shown a video on how to operate the electronic door locks, then taken to our room and shown in person how to operate the locks. Each room, instead of requiring a key, had an electronic lock with a four digit code. The first time we had encountered these was in Taipei, so it was handy to have some instruction. Our room was of a reasonable size, the fridge and wardrobe space separated from the main bedroom area by a half wall. We had a Deluxe Triple room with one single and one double bed - both very comfortable with quite soft mattresses. The room included efficient airconditioning, a mini fridge, tea & coffee facilities, TV, dressing table with stool. There was a couch in the room which, while it did have some staining where someone had once upon a time spilled perhaps a drink on it, was a comfortable addition to the room (noting that some stains never go away). The bathroom had a short but reasonably deep bathtub, with shower overhead. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure from our room on the second floor. Breakfast was served on the fifth floor, beside the rooftop garden. There is a choice of two meal types, we chose western and found it filling and, hmmm, interesting. There was usually some salad, some form of toast w

a gem in the big city”
We had a lovely stay in Mirador Hotel. It's a short 5min walk from MRT station with shops around. It's also next to Shinkuchan shopping area. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The hotel and the rooms has a lovely victorian architectual feel to it which is so not what you would expect in big city like Kaohsiung. Our room has 2 double beds with plenty of room to move around. Breakfast is not big but sufficient. The only criticism that I have is the shower head is so high that the water spread to the wall at the end of the bath tub that water eventually overflown onto the floor.

Perfect”
My partner and I ended up staying at Mirador for the entirety of our week in Kaohsiung. At approximately USD67 a night, we had a large, comfortable room with ensuite bathroom, all toiletries and tea making facilities provided, and breakfast included. The room was quiet at night for a good night's sleep. As is the case in the rest of Kaohsiung, staff speak mainly Mandarin with a smattering of English but will do their best to make your stay as comfortable and smooth as possible. I would definitely stay here again if I find myself back in Kaohsiung. The hotel also provides free wifi in each room. Be warned that there is no room service provided nor is there any food in the hotel after breakfast, but with the easy availability of street food and cafes in Kaohsiung, you should have no problem getting something to eat at all hours of the day.

Nice Deco & Theme”
I visit Taiwan 2-3times a year and was in Kaohsiung for exchange 2 years ago. During my last trip, I stayed in Kindness Hotel which was opposite Mirador and thought Mirador really look nice from the outside. So this time, I booked Mirador for my 3 days stay in Kaohsiung. I stayed in a 2 person room initially and shifted to a family room when 2 other friends joined me. The room was spacious and the deco within the hotel was detailed and pleasant. The hotel has a teeny bit of European influence, and the staff was knowledgeable and polite. It is situated near Central Park station, and there was good shopping to be done near evening to night time. It is also a stop away from Sanduo another shopping area (more upscale). The clubs are not far away, if you are looking for more nightlife. It has a KTV right beside, and many eateries littered around.

European style and excellent service”
I was amazed the moment I pushed the door to enter. It was as if I entered into an European country. From the light settings, sofa, flooring and lift to the hotel everything was so nicely done. And because it was the festive season, a christmas tree was placed at a corner with small little cards hanging randomly. Those cards are filled with feedbacks from past hotel stayers. I thought that was pretty cool and meaningful! The hotel facilities worth another praise. From comfortable beds, sofa, television, bathtub to towels, toothbrush and even disposable slippers Mirador certainly exceeds my expectation. For breakfast you have an option of either a Chinese or Western cuisine, this serves to satisfy different likings and taste. Service is good and efficient, quality of food is also above average. In a nutshell, we had a very pleasant stay in Mirador and we will certainly come back again next time

Good facilities and services”
My friends and I went for a 2 nights stay at Mirador Hotel. The guy greeted us when we first stepped into the hotel counter. He's very patient when answering to our questions. ( wifi, breakfast, etc) Our room was quite big for 4 persons stay. The rooms were very clean and the bed were very comfortable. About 5 mins walk to Liu-Ho Night Market and MRT station. (Central Park) All of us were very satisfied with the hotel and services! We'll love to come back again and stay longer!

Lovely location and helpful staff”
My friend and I stayed at the Mirador during our circuit of Taiwan, and were just swooping into Kaohsiung for a night. The hotel is a quick walk from the MRT station, and surrounded by a ton of food and shopping options. It's very easy to get around, and a very English-friendly neighborhood, though (like a lot of Taiwan) it really comes alive in the evening. The staff let us lock up our bags when we arrived in the morning, and also allowed us to check-in a bit early. We were grateful after so much traveling. My only complaint was that the AC unit was located in the entryway, and because of our room's setup, the cool air didn't circulate. Minor issue, though. Overall, it's a good place to stop if you're sight-seeing in Taiwan.
