Opened in August 2009, this contemporary Thai style hotel makes for an ideal location close to the city center. Being within walking distance to both the skytrain and underground stations, guests are never more than a few stations away from the business, shopping, or entertainment districts. Fitness enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to the Lumpinee Park for a jog. All rooms are designed with a Thai touch, come with a private balcony, and include complimentary wireless access. A quiet, small oasis in the middle of Silom/Sathorn”
Most greteful for my efficent, pleasant three week stay with Mirth Sthorn. Staff is friendly and was exceptionally accommodating with requests ranging from taxi, room shift to weighing luggage. The hotel is situated just five minites walk from the back of Central Silom Mall, Topps market, 7-11, a dirth of food stalls, skytrain BTS and MRT. As many previous guests note, the pathway shortcut to the hotel is open only 6AM-8PM but one simply needs to walk to Convent Road & around BNH hospital which adds an extra 5 minutes maximum to your walk from Skytrain. A facelift may be in order for travelers seeking an induldget, fresh, holiday boutique escape however, prices position Mirth Sathorn as a good, competitive value in our weak global market. I will be pleased if Mirth Sathorn becomes my preferred base for frequent business trips. Thank you so much for my stay!
Beautiful boutique, clean and good location hotel”
mirth sathorn has a very good location in downtown silom and sathorn with easy access to bts and mrt, very convenient. the hotel is a very beautiful decorated boutique hotel. the room is decorated in beautiful unique thai style. i like it so much. i enjoyed shopping, bangkok sightseeing, having good food. all places were near the hotel. i could walk to them and walk back very easy even at night time. the staffs were friendly and helpful. i’ve got very good service and impression from them. it made me happy and thanks for all of them.
I'm currently based in Laos, where health care is lacking. I came to BKK to see specialist at BNH Hospital and booked at the Mirth Sathorn because of its immediate proximity to the hospital. This modest hotel's interior is attractively constructed and designed/wall decorations of traditional Thai art and architecture. Very quiet. Efficient staff. Clean and comfortable. Its only drawback: it does not serve breakfast - nor any meals. However, each room has a refrigerator - and the hotel is located less than five minutes from Silom Centre...a massive shopping mall, where there are numerous cafes and restaurants; also, on the basement level, a huge supermarket. There's also plenty of street food. It's not exactly central - but close to the MRT and a few blocks away from Lumpini Park.
small boutique hotel very central and quiet”
Mirth Sathorn Hotel is a small boutique hotel located in between Silom and Sathorn, right behind BNH Hospital and walking distance from Skytrain Sala Daeng station. It is very central and very quiet at the same time as it is basically in a dead end street with no traffic and surrounded by a quiet neighborhood. The rooms are modern and well equipped although basic and small. The service is friendly and nice
When I travel I try not too spend too much money on accommodations, preferring to use my money for other things. Mirth Sathorn Hotel was in my price range but I was really surprised how nice it is. The amenities and decorations were great. It is very tastefully designed. I will be happy to return there in the future.
Nice boutique hotel in good location”
The Mirth Sathorn Hotel is very conveniently located in the Silom area of Bangkok. The room I had was nice, the staff super friendly. The only disappointing point was the breakfast which is clearly under par for this class of hotel.
Great Location in the middle of it all, yet on a q”
This new boutique hotel is a great value in an ideal location. It is located in the heart of the Silom/Sathorn area. However, it is at the end of a small soi accessed from Sahtorn, the beautiful and quiet soi gives no clue that you are actually in the heart of it all. It's a quick walk to the night life and business district of Silom, or the BTS and MRT station at Sala Daeng. The rooms are beautiful and nicely designed. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom is nice and includes a "rain" shower. I come to Bangkok often and would certainly stay here again. This visit I booked a "superior single." This included a twin bed and a small room. The actual size of the room was okay for me, but the twin bed was something I would avoid in the future by booking a double. It can be confusing since some hotels refer to a person staying alone as a "single," even though this has no bearing on the bed size. Others say "single" and mean single one-person bed. There doesn't seem to be a restaurant on site. This wasn't a problem for me, but others might want to consider this. There is a coffee and pastry shop attached. Good cable TV with many international and local channels. Staff is very friendly and helpful. When I arrived at 1am, I only had large bills to pay for the taxi fare and the driver didn't have enough change. Although the hotel didn't have enough change either, they quickly offered to pay the taxi for me and add the fare to my hotel bill.
Another good experience”
This is my second stay at Mirth Sathorn - in itself that is a recommendation. This is a very small hotel, but the rooms are nice. Location is quiet but only 5 minutes walk to all the action in Silom - shopping mall, restaurants, market, nightlife. One of Bangkok's best private hospitals right next door should you need it (hope not). Great deal through Agoda for only $40 per night nett (excluding breakfast).
Perfect location, friendly staff, beautiful hotel ”
I was so happy when I stayed at Mirthsathorn Hotel. I traveled alone and stayed 3 nights at Mirthsathorn. My first night, I had got very warm welcoming from a very nice staff. I felt relax , warm and comfortable. The room and hotel were decorated in Typical Thai Style, look beautiful and luxury. The room was not very big but comfortable. I liked it so much. The location was at the central of Bangkok near Silom, Sathorn Road, Central Department store, BNH hospital and many embassies such as Australia, Singapore and etc. I could walk to Saladaeng BTS and Silom MRT, only 5 minutes' walk. I enjoyed night life at Silom and Patpong Road and did a lot of shopping from shops around the hotel. On the second day, I walked to Lumpini Public Park for exercising and jogging and got fresh air there. The hotel staffs were very nice and provided perfect assistance. Thanks for them. Even though I traveled alone, I did not feel lonely and scared. It's one of my wonderful trips. I was very happy and had good impression. Thanks
Mirth Sahotrn Hotel”
Mirth Sathorn Hotel is the good hotel with reasonable price. It is suitable for business trip. I also get the good support from hotel staff but it's quite confuse if you drive to park at hotel area due to you may not find the exit way. Due to the hotel is close to the school entrance and it is one way in the morning.
Adequate, wonderful staff”
First of all, the Mirth Sathorn has a very friendly and helpful staff. I stayed there for a week, and they were extremely professional and pleasant. Unfortunately, I'm 6'1", which is not a good heighth for this hotel... the bathrooms and bedrooms are small and more suited toward shorter people. I was in Bangkok during a very hot time of the year, and the air conditioning in the rooms took quite awhile to cool off after coming in from outside. Breakfasts are small and continential, usually consisting of fruit, a croissant and a sweet roll. It's very centrally located to the Saladaeng BTS station, so it makes it very easy to get around the city
Quite surrounding in the middle of crowded city”
The hotel is located in the city center but just far enough to have a quite acommodation. The staff is friendly and attentive. With no problems they changed my room because wasn`t what I liked. The room was quite clean and big, the bed very confortable. The bathroom was clean as well. I had a pleasent staying and I consider Mirth Hotel good value of money.
Nice Small Hotel”
The Mirth is a very difficult hotel to rate. It is very small and very hard to find, but once you find it, it is amazingly close to the BTS on Silom. The phone at the hotel was not working when I tried to find thje hotel, so I could not call. No one, not even the taxi drivers, had heard of this hotel, so it is very difficult to find. It is very small and hidden. That can be good if you know where the hotel is. The hotel can be accessed from Soi Convent through the parking lot of the BNH Hospital (the hotel is directly behind the hospital) or from Sathorn Soi 4. The hotel is nicely decorated and "cozy". The room I was given was lovely. The TV had 200 channels, of which only half were working and only 1 was English speaking -- Aljazeera News. Breakfast is poor and not worth paying for (there are 2 tables in front of the reception; no restaurant). Breakfast consists of 1 muffin, 1 ham croissant, a fruit plate, coffee and juice. Better to eat in a nearby restaurant on Silom. So, it is a nice small hotel in a good location, with some problems/deficiencies. While my stay at the Mirth was "ok", I probably would not stay there again.
Good-value boutique hotel located on quiet and cle”
Highly recommend this boutique hotel on Sathorn soi 4 behind BNH hopital (soi 4 is parallel to soi Convent which leads to Silom and Patpong shopping and night life areas). Business district is also nearby, Sala Daeng station only 5-10 minutes walk away. Management and staff are great and willingly catered to special requests. I liked the location on a quiet, clean and tree-lined street away from the noise of the nearby busier areas, but still within easy walking distance to everything. Deluxe rooms have a nice balcony and canopy bed. Good (and free!) wi-fi internet connection. Overall, excellent value for what you pay.
Cute place, great value”
If you want the best place to stay in Sathorn on a budget - this is it. Rooms are spacious for the price. One block away from shopping, skytrain and the action. Quiet, clean. Fast internet. Nice desk to work from. BIG closet space. I have now booked 3 times at this hotel.
Good Hotel, Value for Money, Friendly Staff”
I had a very nice stay in Mirth Hotel because of the location. It is walking distance to shopping mall and easy access to MRT Station. The room is clean and very comfortable to stay in.
I like staying at the Mirth because of it's quiet location in a tree lined street within walking distance to all the hustle and bustle. A good place to stay if you're in Bangkok for a short time and will spend most of your time at attractions and shopping etc...
I had a wonderful stay at the Mirth hotel. It's located in a quiet neighborhood in the hussel and bussel of Silom, yet it's just a stone throw from the Silom Complex and the Sala Dieng bts! The hotel is decorated in a Thai style, staff was attentive. Once you walk in, you have the peaceful feel of it. It has only 20 rooms, so it's not designed for the group tour group which is a big plus in Bangkok!
Clean and quiet”
Clean and quiet hotel, a bit complicated to get to if you walk after 20:00 (the shortcut closes). Apart from that, good price-quality, very friendly staff and two lovely cats that live in the lobby. :) Everything good, only downfall is the hospital right in front which makes getting in/out of the hotel a bit trickier after 20:00. If you get a balcony, dont expect any views, its a tiny hotel in a cramped up street like most of the buildings in Bangkok. The skytrain station is very close, especially when you take the shortcut.
Everything is OK”
location is perfect. you are in walking distance from silom and sathorn qnd still you are waking up hearing nothing but bird singing. hotel is modern, room was nice and new fith flat screent tv in it. most likely will stay there on my next trip.
