New hotel built across the Japan National Stadium where olympics opening ceremony was held. Although there was not much in terms of food / shops within walking distance of the hotel, it is situated right next to a station on Toei Oedo line hence going to Shinjuku / Shibuya / Roppongi was convenient enough. The station exit (A1) is literally outside the hotel front entrance so you won’t need to walk in the cold for longer than a minute. The hotel room is decent in size for Tokyo standards (still on the small side but comfy enough!). another plus is that the layout is good as the toilet and shower/bath areas are well divided. Loved the public bath on 2nd floor inside the hotel, it was nice and clean, and the vending machines were always well stocked too. I would highly recommend this hotel to younger groups of travellers but maybe not families with babies/toddlers as you would have to take transit every trip and if you head back after 10PM, the exit A1 is closed and you will need to climb more stairs/escalators at exit A2.

Best hotel we’ve been in Japan ”
This hotel has been the best we’ve stayed in Japan. It’s a 4 star hotel but in reality it feels like a 5 star. It’s absolutely beautiful and the staff is extremely professional. I would recommend having breakfast there at least once since it has a lot of things to offer. The location is the best you can get in Tokyo since it’s literally on top of the metro station. Totally recommend it!

Last minute we booked as cancelled our stay in another hotel. Slightly far away from the whole touristic spots, but the quietness and calm location are are thumbs up. This Mitsui Hotel has become our first choice while visiting Tokyo, for tourism and work. Kokuritsu-Kyogijo Station is less that 20 yards away.

My husband and I stayed 5 nights. The room was comfortable with a nice view. The hotel location was excellent---5 minute walk to Sendagaya train station, 8 minute walk to Shinjukugyoen garden. We will highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful surroundings ”
The view from the terrace is beautiful at day and night. Walking around the national stadium is really nice -calm and spacious. Nearby Jingu Gaien Ginkgo Avenue is slightly busy but wonderful to walk.

Favorite Hotel in Tokyo”
spacious hotel for Tokyo, super comfy... home away from home. you got the amenities you need. you dont need to bring your sleeping wear if you are staying here since they provide that already. and change daily. the room is super clean. plus points for me is that its super near the train station (about 15 steps away from the hotel). and if you have stroller or heavy luggages with you, go to A2 exit, elevator is there. the neighboorhood is so quiet! its really relaxing after a whole day of being in the busy streets in Tokyo.

Fantastic stay. We had a room on 12th floor, corner Superior twin. The beds were very comfortable and having a public ‘pool’ on site was great! Very easy walk to Shinjuku and right next to several lovely parks.

As an avid traveler.... I've stayed at my fare share of hotels. I'd have to say my experience at this hotel is in the top 3. Cleaniness... could eat off the floor... amazing service and hospitality......the food and baked goods in the restaurant and bakery were amazing... dony forget the vending machine on the 2nd floor folks... and having a balcony was the kicker... I'll be sure to make my future visits to tokyo at this hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We love the garden! Probably our favorite hotel in Tokyo. Thanks to the whole team! The only feedback we’d give is please add some weights in the fitness room. Having all that space and no weights or weight machines seems like a missed opportunity. If there were weights I would only stay at the garden when visiting! Many thanks
