Where to stay in Miyajima
Miyajima hotels & accommodations

only stayed one night due to fully booked hotels in Miyajima island but nonetheless my stay was comfortable, the amenities were decent and the rooms were great. Breakfast has a decent selection and the pier to Miyjima island is just right outside along the 7/11 next to it and the train to the main city. I had a pleasant stay all in all except theres no wifi.

The location is superb, less than 5mins walk from the Miyajima ferry terminal, and i was happy to leave my luggage at the front desk while exploring the island for the whole day. I returned to the hotel for dinner and was delighted to find that the staff had assisted to transfer my luggage to the room. The hotel provided free use of a set of comfortable yukata per pers...

The location of the hotel is very accessible. It is at the heart of the shopping/food lane and not very far from the Miyajima pier (about 10 mins walk). We were greeted by very friendly faces once we were inside and the hospitality was very warm and inviting. The room was spacious (for three of us) and it was very clean. The hotel staff will set the futons for us whi...

I had my reservation on 5th floor of Sakuraya. Staff is very kind as I went there faster than check-in time. Therefore, they allowed me to put my luggage at the hotel first. They clearly explaned me about resturant and sight-seeing place on Miyajima. There is a grill oyster shop in front of hotel which is very convienient. Less than 10 minutes walk to JR station and I...

The staff could not have been more welcoming and friendly throughout our stay and consistently went out of their way to ensure our comfort and happiness at all times. The ryokan is perfectly situated in a quiet corner of Miyajima Island just away from the ‘town centre’ alongside a beautiful small river. Our room had a wonderful forest view and you could hear the rush...

We stayed for one night. The staff picked up our luggage early while we explored Miyajima, and picked us up later (all free of charge). All staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and attentive to our requests. The onsen at the hotel was our only opportunity to experience one; the onsen at Miyajima seaside hotel allows tattoos which was a very pleasant surprise. T...

The hotel is not located directly on Miyajima Island, but rather nearby. There is a shuttle that runs to the nearest metro station during a set period of time each day. In general the staff is pretty helpful. However, walking from the nearest metro stop to the hotel may take around 10-18 minutes. Also, there is no wifi in the individual rooms but only in the lobby. You really can't beat the views of Mt Fuji, we went for one of the rooms and although it was cloudy when we arrived, we woke up with a clear sky and a great view. Definitely would recommend this place, one ...

This hostel is really cool and fun. It takes place right at the fish harbor and just 3 stations away from the Miyajima Ferry Harbor. The location is perfect. It's a 1-minute walk from the main shopping street, but in an utterly quiet neighborhood. Most everything you would want to do in the main tourist areas can be reached by a 5-10 minute walk from the Nakaya B&B. Although the bathing and toilet facilities are shared, there are only 3 rooms, it seems, and the bath is reserved by time slots, so ...

The place is located 1 stop from Miyajima ferry terminal and about 20 minutes from the Hiroshima Peace Memorial. The staff is fantastic; they helped me right away and immediately recommended things for me to look into and their suggestions on how I should see the locations given my limited time. Staying here was like staying with family. The proprietor and her son do everything they can to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The food is very special. It is not cheap, but we very much enjoyed the experience of this traditional Japanese Inn.

We really enjoyed our stay, staff were wonderful, don't miss breakfast! Wish we had dinner here as breakfast was amazing! Rooms were comfortable, japanese style with plenty of room. You can use a private onsen for free if you don't want to brave it with the locals, just make sure to book a time. In a quiet location but not far from anything on the island. Great shuttl...

Great location, not far from ferry terminal and near to main sights but in a quiet street. Wonderfu uniquel property. We had the whole place to ourselves. Really unique and authentic. Comfortable beds, great wooden bath adjacent to private garden. It was like having our own ryokan and onsen! Lovely owner made us very welcome.

Perfect for relaxing on Miyajima. If you have heavy luggage, it is an easy taxi ride from the station, and if you don't, it is an easy walk to the shrine, the main shopping area, the ferry terminal, etc. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, and the setting beautiful and quiet. The meals were exceptional. I highly recommend Mori No Yado.

Staffs were friendly though they cannot communicate in English. But I still can get my point across :) The only down point is that the train station where free shuttle is provided do not have elevator hence my poor hubby need to carry 20 over kg luggage up and down the staircase. The room we stayed in is awesome in scenery, space and the biscuits they gave us in the ...

We were given a room facing Miyajima Island, it’s was very relaxing. Looking out, you can see the sunrise in the morning and oyster farm out in the sea.
