Comfortable and historic”
It's the only hotel I would stay at in Tonopah as there is not much there. The rooms were comfortable but small. The renovations were nicely done. Restaurant and bar close early. I think it's a bit overpriced for the location and all around.

The Best reason to visit Tonopah ”
MIZPAH HOTEL is an elegantly restored historic Edwardian (1907, well sort of...) quirky, fun & HAUNTED upscale hotel in Tono...what is it again? Oh yeah, Tonopah, Nevada (a former gold & silver mining town literally in the "middle of nowhere" with some neat museums, and a superb chance to visit an authentic small western city still residing in yesteryear that offers a strangely appealing meloncholia! Our fifth floor well-appointed room offered great views of the surrounding desert mountains, and was definitely the kind "they don't make anymore" with walls so thick we couldn't hear any of our neighbors let alone the ghosts!! Much of the room's furniture (the end tables and chairs) seemed like genuine period antiques from that era. We enjoyed a very tasty meal and cocktails made by the onsite restaurant, Pittman Cafe and served in their lobby saloon and casino area boasting very comfortable easy-chair seating and coffee tables. Definitely worth the Tonopah trek!!

Truly Haunted ”
Very nice and very old hotel with allot of character and history. This was our second time staying here for 3 nights.Stayed on the 5th floor, radio would turn on when no one was near it. Could hear a music box playing but couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Same night we woke up to the sound of a woman laughing. If your up for an adventure and can handle a few ghosts bumping around in the night you'll love this place. I highly recommend staying here.

We got the historic feel we were looking for. ”
Only a single chair provided in the room unless you have a suite. Coffee consists of only 1 carafe per floor in the morning. Chairs in lobbies are rickety and old. You can feel the steel springs poking up. Staff are extremely friendly. Great view of town from 5th floor.

Exceptional”
Nice and clean, although rooms are a little small. But, can't expect more from 100+ year old building. Great bar, adequate restraunt.

Sfeervol hotel, matige kamer”
Het Mizpah is duidelijk een sfeervol hotel met veel geschiedenis. We kregen helaas wel echt een van de slechtste kamers. Er hing zelf een bord/luik voor het raam, dit viel wat tegen, maar was ook wel echt lowbudget
