Perfect location to begin with”
It’s awesome that there is a water purifier installed in each room, so clean drinking water is instantly available, no bottled water is needed, great environmental sense! The room is not spacious, but makes very good use of the available space, two thumbs up! It’s just that the room smells moldy and the smell doesn’t go away.

Outdated and out of repair facilities although excellent location”
The hotel is not in the best shape. You can see holes on the wall and cleanliness is much to be desired. Excellent location. Staff can use additional training. When we woke up in the morning, there was water dripping down the ceiling and one two inch long centipede found in bed. When we told the front desk, they just said sorry without any additional action. For the price, they can definitely do better.

Expensive and rooms cleanliness can be improved. The vent in the room was clogged with dust, and the sink in the bathroom was not cleaned properly. The bottom of the rinsing cups in the bathroom were dirty.

Kids love it !”
We were upgraded to a six people room. My children absolutely love the room with its cute monster mascots adorned everywhere. Porch area had two huge stuffed mascots and there was even a quiz inside the room which we managed to solve and gotten small prizes locked inside a treasure chest! Room was surprisingly clean and new. Breakfast had a huge variety though taste was only mediocre. Situated right smack inside monster village. Do stay here if you want to spend leisure time within the themed village .

The hotel is excellent although a bit expensive but you are paying for the location. The room was awesome and it comes with unlimited portable water and the characters were just too cute. The only complaint could be that the rooms weren’t connected to the main lobby which means dragging your luggage through the cold. The food starts closing quite early after dark so be warned and so do the shops. But that’s when the village starts their small games stalls. The hotel comes with some itinerary for children and there’s a number hunt and bingo with prizes for guests only but requires registration at 3pm. Xitou nature education area was our main attraction and being located right next to it means we get to rest our tired feet soon after! There’s a family mart 24/7 too

recomemded - fanily with kids”
if you travel to Taiwan and wonder explore new place. This place is recommended. for a couple I think is not a romantic place as here no way to explore, eat, sleep, enjoy the monster decor. For kids, its such great memories, kids will though is another place that monster living.. lol. Quite good. Room decor - fancy, if needed use safe book, ah ha... try the clue of 5 steps to get QR code to open it. Try your self.

It was my plesant stay in this hotel! Hotel is clean and with huge bed! slept so well until i dont want to wake up at the next morning. The toileteries is very cute with the monster packaging ! Felt so warm staying here. Recommend for family and couple stay!

Ming Shan Resort is not worth for visit”
The room is pretty old and can understand that this is because the hotel is surrounded by the forest and so that humidity is high. However, the cost for the room rate is a bit high. And the rooms booked by Agoda should provide much more options. The rooms are pretty old and not worth such cost. If I use such price and can stay the hot spring hotel with a big pool and with good service hotel and also, with good breakfast. I am pretty dispointed about the monster village is also small and we should just shop around the village and go. However, the performer are trying their best to entertain the guests around.

Cute and cozy”
Theme was cute. Room was also cozy. Convenient to get around as it is within monster village. Shops are also nearby. Room is big for 2 of us with all facilities provided. Breakfast was delicious air is fresh. Staff service is good as well. Overall it was a good staying experience. Will come back and stay again.

the hotel was great, the room was large, and the beds were large. one setback would be the bathroom, as it is quite small and old. other than that, i love this hotel and will return soon.

Everything is new and well maintained. The weather was cold but the rooms are equipped with good heater facilities and even humidifier! We enjoyed taking the walk around vicinity and buy food/souvenirs from Family Mart and stores at our door step!

Counter Service and attitude should improve more and after booking by agoda should make a phone call to Hotel ensure there already arrange room for you , incase Hotel don't put you name in the booking list,moreover a spaghetti street vendor near by family market the price and food very delicious and reasonable.

No choice but to stay there ”
we were allocated rooms in the second building which was separated from the main lobby and we had to lug our suitcases up a slope and up a flight of stairs. No help whatsoever from the staff as it was fully booked over the weekend and the place was crowded with people. The rooms were dark and dingy and the age of the place was obvious. Wifi was non existent in the rooms. Breakfast was so so. Overall, good to stay there if u are visiting monster village but don't expect too much

Honeymoon”
Awesome theme hotel in this mini theme park, a little disappointing on the night activities around. After 9pm there seems to be nothing much to do. Overall quite a fun place to be in with some awesome food around, there are still more construction going on at the back of the theme park. Lets hope in the future there will be more facilities around.
