Advantages: 1. The first thing that surprised me when I entered the accommodation was the size of the room. It was just spacious. The cost-effectiveness was good. The internal facilities such as lounge and resting area gave a feeling of accommodation that is not easy to find in this price range. 2. The location seems to be very good. It is closer to Higashi-Hie Station on foot than Hakata Station. It can be considered to be located between two stations. 3. The staff is friendly. There is a staff member who can speak English, and the instructions shown have Korean written on them, so there was no problem with communication. Additionally, if you ask for a map of nearby restaurants or Nakasu food stalls, they will provide it. It might be helpful to keep it. Disadvantages: 1. There are no cooking tools such as a sink or microwave in the room (there is no space to pour out soup). It is okay for bread, snacks, and alcohol, but for cup ramen or food that needs to be cooked, you have to eat in the lounge on the first floor instead of the room. However, when we went there, there were many people in the lounge, and it had a free atmosphere like a Korean cafe. Just note that the lounge closes around 12 o'clock. 2. When we went there, there was construction going on nearby. Especially at night, they were doing construction (I don't know if it's the same in Korea, but in Japan, places that do construction at night were frequently seen). If it weren't for that, it would have been quiet enough as it is far from the city center, but the construction noise was quite disturbing.

The accommodation is very comfortable with a common area for dining, plates, spoons, coffee, and excellent service from the staff who are very polite. There is a 7-Eleven and Family Mart nearby. The rooms are spacious and more comfortable than other hostels. The staff cleans the rooms every day, unlike other hostels. The beds and pillows are very soft and comfortable. From my experience of traveling to Japan 21 times across the country, this is one of the best accommodations I have ever stayed in.

Transportation: The hostel is conveniently located near both Dongbihui subway station and Hakata Station, and it's actually not far to walk to either one on a daily basis. Public facilities: The common area on the first floor is spacious, bright, and very comfortable, and you can even play board games there. Room facilities: I stayed in a twin room this time, and the room was spacious and comfortable, with a balcony, refrigerator, sink, clothes hangers, a small desk, and a small chair. Everything was very clean and there was daily housekeeping service. There were three mirrors in the room and countless power outlets, so there was no need to worry about not having enough outlets to charge devices. Staff: The front desk staff were very friendly, but now they can only speak Japanese and English. It seems that there are no longer any staff members who can speak Chinese as mentioned in previous online reviews. Drawbacks: There was only one small chair for two people in the room. Although smoking is prohibited throughout the hostel, there was occasionally a faint smell of smoke from the air conditioning (we stayed in room 601 and don't know if it was due to someone smoking outside or something else). Overall, except for the unknown smell of smoke, this hostel is highly recommended!

This was my first solo travel and i am glad i was able to book this hotel. The facilities are clean and there were more than enough shower rooms and toilets for dormitory rooms so i don't need to wait long for my turn. It takes 12 mins by foot going to Hakata station and there were a couple of cafes and restaurants nearby. The staff were very nice and can communicate very well in English. I had to borrow scissors from the front desk couple of times and they were okay with it 😅 i also asked for their help to book a taxi to the airport. My overall stay was very good, definitely recommend this place.

The location is excellent. It is a 2 minute walk from Higashie station. 15 minute walk to Hakata Station. If you're coming to/from the airport, it is better to alight in Higashihie station. Staff are a helpful. They responded to my messages prior to checking in. Things I appreciated are as follows: Towels are provided. Can ask for new or additional one if needed. Shampoo,body wash and conditioner is provided in the common shower room. There is a hair dryer in the shower room. Toilets are clean. Bed is spacious and warm with enough ventilation. The room is maintained clean. Free coffee, and tea. 7/11 is nearby,at the Higashihie station. There is nearby Lawson and Family mart stores too. Things to reconsider when booking dormitory type room. Common toilets are located outside the room. Since it is dormitory type, people come and go and it busy during my stay. Overall, it value for money and highly recommended.
