I love staying at Montbleau. It's everything I want from my stay at Tahoe. The location, price, room, facilities, restaurant and casino are great. Plus they host concerts and other events. Loved it!

Great Location with Free Parking”
Loved the free parking and easy check in. Our room was perfect with nice towels in the bathroom. The blackout curtains were great. TV remote and the TV itself was easy to navigate. We had a comfortable stay for quick trip to see Norah Jones across the street. It was better than Harveys which was kind of funky in the room.

On Feb. 5 Agoda charged my credit card $1003.11 for staying at the Montbleu Hotel in Lake Tahoe. On Feb. 15 Montbleu Hotel charged my credit card $1367.89 because they did not receive payment from Agoda. This needs to be cleared up please.

Nice hotel for quick stop in South Lake Tahoe... Would not recommend the Cafe Del Soul very poor food and service. Also be aware of the Resort fee that they tag on to the posted price on Agoda at check out....

i booked thru agoda..but when i checked out - there were 67usd resort fee (tax...etc) extra charge - i dont understand why? paid hotel and charge extra usd 67 for two night is totally unecessary... they should return to us..

Good for price. Out dated, but decent size rooms. Obviously not one of the main casinos or hotels, but still good. Service and staff were below average though. Not a single person we talked to was friendly, not too helpful and seems like nobody really has an idea what else goes on in the hotel outside of their area. They just send you to the next person without hesitation or follow up assistance. But overall, it was all ok. Parking was free, which was great. Location is still good and it was cheaper than the other 3 main hotels and all are within short walking distance of the main areas.

I have booked the room, saw that there would be a refrigerator so I packed a lot of sliced turkey meat for my snack and some milk with me. I planned doing that because I was aware of Covid situation and wanted to minimize my trips to a store in case I was hungry. After I checked in, I have realized there was no refrigerator as listed. I called the front desk but they told me that the amenity list on Agoda is wrong. So, I ended up having to throw away all of my food and drink the next morning because it was in the room temperature overnight. How can Agoda mistakenly listed a fridge there if the hotel doesn't provide one. I was very disappointed. Regarding cleanliness, there was one empty shampoo bottle on the floor. During this crazy time, I didn't even bother to call a housekeeper to come pick it up but that indicates clearly that the room could have been cleaner or it should not have been anything left from previous guests.

I’ve stayed here a few times before but this time was a not so good experience. I reserved a king bed and was given a queen. The room was dusty and there was a stain on the bed sheets. The room quality has gone down and I hope this was just a one time bad experience. I would still book here again. Everyone deserves a second chance

Carpet was dirty, used Q tip on the bathroom floor. If you’re traveling with friends or your partner for a party weekend, this place isn’t bad, but I wouldn’t stay here with kids again. The location is good, paid extra for a view of the lake which was nice, but I would not stay here again.
