AVOID Montgomery Comfort Inn & Suites”
This is the absolute worse experience I have had in over 30 years of traveling. I chose the property based upon my prior excellent experiences at Comfort Inn Suites. The desk clerk had an attitude and I believe it was because I was a senior citizen. She would not tell me if she had my on-line confirmation and why my credit card had been charged for the room before I had even gotten there. Made the reservation 10/8 didn't arrive until 10/17. She wanted me to giver her $100.00 cash - or - credit card before she would process my check-in. I told her to use my credit card that was on file and I asked why I needed to give them an additional $100. She told me I was disrespecting her and she would not continue with the check-in. Fortunately the manager came over and continued the check-in. I told her I was trying to understand why I had been charged $99.99 for an advertised $84.00 room and why they wanted another $100. now. She said the charge was made by the 3rd party booking company and they did not have anything to do with it. She also told me the $100. was for "Incidental" expenses such as smoking in the room or damage caused. I told her I don't smoke and never had and I don't damage hotel rooms. She said they would inspect the room before I departed and the $100. would be refunded in 3 to 5 business days. This is total BS. I won't be staying here again and I will be sending an email to AARP so they can advise other seniors not to use this propety.

They were in the process of remodeling, dust was everywhere fire doors were open, the hot tub had old green looking water left in it. Should be ok when it’s completed. Hotel did not take our pre paid reservation from Agoda. Agoda will not return our calls for our refund, had to contact our credit card to try to get our money back.
