The hotel was excellent. It was spotlessly clean. We couldn't find any fault. The location was brilliant within walking distance from the Colosseum. The metro was opposite so it made it very easy to get about.

Perfect spotless central place”
Incredible location and modern hotel with a warm factor. The room are modern and clean, very different from the others old fashion hotels in Rome. The bathroom are exceptional and look the best of proper made in Italy design. Location wise is in Monti, therefore close to everything and although you got the tube close to you, you will hardly use it. Staff is helpful and accommodate any needs. I will certainly use this hotel again.

Nice stay, we had all we needed. In a citytrip we mainly stay in the hotel to shower and sleep, so it was perfect. The beds are very comfy. It is 15min from the Termini Trainstation. 5min to the Colosseo & other attractions are also close. Clean, good standard room, you can hear a bit the street but in most city centre hotels you will… The breakfast was okay, not too many choices but good for a start in the day. Rooftop bar is very beautiful but small. We went for a drink (with reservation), it was nice but quite pricey (roughly around € 14.-). All in all we were very happy with our stay and would surely recommend it.

Monti palace is a clean hotel, with great facilities and helpful staff. The AC was amazing (which is super important during the hot summer days). Staff were available at night as well. Shower in new and clean. The rooftop has a great view and it’s always nice to have there a drink at sunset. Would come back.

We had a good experience at Monti palace. The hotel was clean and in a good area with some great restaurants nearby. I will say this seems more like a 3-3.5/5 star hotel rather than 4. Staff were friendly but weren’t extremely over the top accommodating. Also oddly, we did not have a comforter on the bed until our last night. This was partially fault of our own because we did not ask for this to be provided, I wasn’t sure if it was custom haha.

Mostly good. Positives - Excellent location, Excellent staff, Good very clean rooms. Bad - Unpleasant smell in the corridors and lift (could be temporary?) - we didn't complain as it was only going in and out that it was noticeable. Breakfast could at best be described as ordinary - fast service but only one choice of hot food (inedible scrambled eggs for my taste - not cooked fresh). OK I guess if you like continental ie. cheese, ham (one type of each) 3 types of cereal, bread, croissant, yoghurt, jams. In other words not bad but I've had a lot better in similar priced hotels. Very expensive drinks in the rooftop bar.

Very close to Cavour station, easily walk to Colosseum and take metro to Vatican. About 30 minutes walk to Pantheon/Fontana di Trevi/Piazza Navona. Breakfast was average, same for everyday. The rooftop area is for both breakfast and evening bar. We didn’t go get a drink but from the breakfast point of view, it’s definitely not worthy if you book this hotel only wanted to have a rooftop view. Staffs were helpful.

Breakfast was quite good. The accommodations were great. I really enjoyed the in-room air conditioning control so that I could have a cold room at night. Location is a block away from the Cavour metro stop and less than a 10 minute walk to the Colosseum and train station.
