"All in all we liked the Hotel and the facilities, but the breakfast wasn't even adequate for a Hotel with four stars!!! The variety of the food was very limited and it was based on sweet food, like croissants etc. If the hotel places people from all over the world, the breakfast has to fit an international level. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. "

"The room is very clean; the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is well provided and vendo machines available if you need a drink. The manager (Lisa & Sal) and the staff (Cristina) are exceptionally friendly, helpful and accommodating. This is one b&b that should not be judged by the outside appearance of the building. The location is safe and so accessible to Termini terminal, hop-on-hop-off bus routes and some main attractions like the Colosseum. We stayed for 3 nights and totally loved the hotel! The price is very reasonable. If I were to visit Rome again, I'd book with Domus Liberius Roma without a second thought."

Our room had a view of the Santa Prassede church gardens which was very pleasant. The size of the room and bed where comfortable. All staff were pleasant and very accommodating. The only thing that was a challenge was the size of the shower. "

"I cannot praise Casa in Monti Guest House high enough for the price we paid. Nothing was too much trouble and communication before we arrived was good. We asked if it was possible to get a cup of tea outside ‘breakfast hours’ – within half an hour there was a kettle, cups, t-bags, biscuits etc in our room. We asked if we could have extra pillows – within 15 minutes we had 2 more pillows. We spilt a whole cup of coffee on the bed. The sheet, blanket, top cover and mattress had a large patch of coffee on it. We told the maid and the response was ‘no problem’! Later in the day fresh bedding greeted us – no mention, no fuss. Situated between the Termini station and the Colosseum it’s an ideal spot for sightseeing in central Rome. It’s also close to many good restaurants including one just across the road! The room was spacious and clean. Overall great value for the money."

"This is a well located hotel in Monti so it was an easy walk from Termini (the main bus/train/metro hub) or a quick walk to Cavour on the Metro. The reception staff, especially Alex, are very helpful and friendly. The a/c was amazing when were were there during a very hot week in August. Lots of closet space for clothes. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. Our family of three enjoyed it very much. Breakfast is simple but generous in the amount and offered on the 4th floor terrace which a nice change. Unlimited coffee/expresso available all day--great for when we were jet lagged. Would return again for sure."

"We lived this Hotel Duca d' Alba. Friendly staff. I was able to check in a bit early which has not happened with many other hotels whilst traveling this summer. They had a little construction going on and I talked to them about the noise and never heard it again. While this hotel is not a 'luxury hotel' and the rooms are quite small. I found it quiet, cozy, good vibes, great location, superb staff. Will be staying here next time I am in Rome. "
