Small room but commutation very close”
this is my second review on hotel moon. well the only reason i like staying in moon hotel is that the location is very good. the hotel is 2mins walk from nearest simkimlay bustand, 10mins walk from little india mrt and 10-15 mins walk from mustafa shoping center. and if you looking to buy any electronic stuff in singapore you can go to sim kim lay mall which is hardly 2-3 mins from moon hotel. beside this the room is very comfortable even though its very small. the bed is very very comfortable. in short this hotel is perfect for couples. well i would love to give the review for this hotel third time also.

Compact, clean lhotel in the heart of Little India”
we stayed at the moon hotel for one night before flying to phuket the following day. right in the heart of little india and about 20 minutes from the airport, we loved the cultural location. the hotel is very small and the rooms are tiny yet very clean. i would only recommend this hotel for a short stay due to the size of the rooms and the fact there was no window in the room! it was sufficient for our needs and the staff were efficient. we thought it was good value for money based on hotels being very expensive in singapore.

Lovely hotel, great location, friendly staff.”
this was a very friendly hotel, with the staff very happy to help. the hotel is located less than 500 metres away from the little india mrt station and so easy to get to with only two corners to get to the station. the hotel is located within easy walking distance to good cheap shopping and eating, especially good quality indian / chinese food. we would recommend the food hall next to the mrt station for quality, price and atmosphere. we were happy with our stay of 6 days, but could have done with a slightly bigger room. it appears that all of the rooms are of a "unique design" complete with 32in flat screen tv, ipod docking alarm and well fitted, albeit small bathroom with glass wall, obscured in parts for privacy, and would suit younger, more agile guests. unexpected "perks" were a completely free mini-bar containing beer, juices, water & coke. additionally, there was a free cocktail & wine session every night in the breakfast room, perfect for relaxing after foot hammering days. breakfast was simple and could be varied a little more over time, but the standard was good. again this was free, making the room rates extremely good value. we will stay at the moon hotel again on our next visit to singapore.

Modern and small ”
Well i booked this one because my usual on kitchener road asked 2 times the price of last time cause it is almost full again... . I like little india area (many food opportunity and quite central in singapore) so i found moon hotel on agoda. It is modern, clean and has young and friendly/efficient staff. The rooms are small. Not suited for family or personal work inside. Also for couples only if you not plan to stay whole day inside. Other then that the bed was very comfortable, the rainshower was good. Despite the size i quite enjoyed the room. Simple but effective. The hotel seems aimed on young couples. If you care about the size of the room you could call it an expensive hotel considered you have another hotel next door with cheaper and bigger rooms. Although for singapore it is acceptable. And everything else in the room was perfect.

Great hotel for solo traveller or couples”
The hotel is located in Little India, near Bugis MRT station (EW/Green Line) and Little India MRT station (NE/Purple Line), great location for tourists because it is near the shopping malls, USS, Sentosa, Marina Bay Sands, etc. The breakfast buffet and free cocktails are great. The wifi is decent. The room is clean but very small. All in all, the room and hotel amenities are worth the price. I had a very comfortable stay in Moon hotel. However, I only recommend this hotel for solo traveller/couples who are going to stay for not more than 5 days. If you have a big luggage, it's quite hard to find space for your things.

Trendy but small rooms. 5-7pm free cocktails!”
the location isn't so great. it's in little india which is busy and messy. about a 550 or 650 meter walk away from the mrt. the entrance is nice and the free cocktails and beers (limit of 5 pp) is the best thing about moon hotel. the rooms are very cramped, the basins are outside of the bathroom. barely room to swing a cat but it's singapore so land is precious. the rooms are darkly lit and everything was neat and tidy. lots of hotel room amenities. cotton buds, shower cap, soap, shampoo, shoe polish, loofa pad, sewing kit etc. the wifi is great which is another plus. no windows in the room which adds to the crampness. but can be cosy for some.

Refuge from Little India”
The Moon is a cool refuge from Little India / Singapore. It is reasonably priced. The staff were polite and accomodating. The room was for 2 was cosy but had everything you essentially need. They restock the mini bar daily which is a cool touch. Breakfast was varied to cater for several nationalities - wasnt lavish but was adequate - they change the hot dishes daily. Free drinks between 5 to 7 was also a good touch. Pretty easy to get around Singapore with MRT taxis and hop on hop off buses and was pleasantly suprised by how much there is to see in Singapore - architecture was mindblowing and I am not in to that. Little India is a bit dirty but vibrant and colorful and after seeing how many curries descent there on a Sunday wont have to travel to Big India! Do not eat at Prince Of Wales pub round corner beer is overpriced and the food is woeful - better off trying one of the Indian shops. Would stay at the Moon again.

Great little hotel”
if you need a cozy, polished little place in little india, look no further. moon is within walking distance of great food and will be around the corner from an mrt once construction is finished (right now it's a hike to the 2 closest mrt stations, and you're better off cabbing it if carrying luggage). my bed at moon was one of the most comfortable i've ever had at a hotel. be warned that the rooms are teeny: you can spread out your luggage or walk to the bathroom, but not both. request a room with a window, or you will feel like you're in a cave.

Gorgeous Hotel, Fantastic Standard Room!”
The check-in was quick & the receptionist was exceptionally friendly. The hotel looks real new as the front office was still undergoing some constructions but it wasn't a big deal. It was our first time at the hotel and to play it safe, we opted for the Standard and we were clearly aware there will be a big chance our room would come without windows as those with windows are limited. The room we had was without windows but they gave us the "look" that we had windows as they added curtains for the added illusion - I totally LIKE that idea! When we arrived at the room, the first thing that we notice was the high platform bed (a little too high if you ask me) but it was absolutely COMFORTABLE! We had friends over and everyone raved about the bed & extra bolster - a rarity in the modern hotel these days. The room came with a see-through bathroom; the glass panels allows the light from the bedroom to shine in the toilet - perfect for couples! It is roomy enough for two to shower with the rain shower and the Grohe finishing are an added bonus. Coming to this hotel is a fantastic choice, the rooms come with a welcome set which includes things such as nail file, bath robe, plush room slippers, loofas, choice of two coffee & tea in the room and so forth and the best part... Everything in the Mini Bar is complimentary! You get 2 cans of San Miguel Pilsner, a can of Sprite, a can of Pepsi, 2 glasses of fruit juices & complimentary bottled water too! Other added amenities includes the iPhone docking station & FM radio alarm with night light. For the tourists, there is also a Book of Singapore with all the list of good places to go to in the room! We didn't wake up early enough for the breakfast (0630 - 1030 hours) but rest assured that we will DEFINITELY be back in two months for our anniversary staycation with the friends again & we will definitely try the breakfast :)

great location, lovely time.”
the moon hotel was very friendly, with the staff very happy to help. the rooms were very comfortable complete with flat screen tv, ipod docking alarm and nice bathroom. the hotel is within in easy walking distance of two mrt stations (little india and bugis) and good cheap shopping and eating. we were very happy with our stay of 2 days, and were able to store our main luggage at reception for a couple of days when we took an overnight trip to kuala lumpur, before flying home. with the staff's positive, helpful attitude and the unexpected freebies of a mini-bar, a cocktail & wine session every night, we would stay at the moon hotel again on our next visit to singapore.

Best Deal in Singapore. Great Location”
Absolutely great priced hotel located in Little India. Very close to many great shopping areas and amazing restaurants. This is the most inexpensive hotel i have stayed at in Singapore, and for the price, this hotel is definitely the best value. The rooms are very small, but clean, and well designed. Very friendly staff.

Superb boutique hotel in singapore”
Since the first moment after we booked this hotel for staying and we arrived there, we already feels the great atmosphere and they also served us with the welcome drink. When we enter the room, oh yeah it's really very nice room with the perfect concept. Also nice neighboor hood, around 5 - 10 minute to the MRT little india reached by walking, Near also to mustafa centre. Good service, friendly staff, great breakfast. When we travel again to singapore, for sure we will stay again in this hotel.

Great service”
Second time staying. For a room with no window it seem surprisingly chilled. I like the way the bath is tucked away. I once touch with free drinks in the early evening and a couple of beers in the mini bar makes the difference between using this hotel to another. Don't lose the personal touches Moon hotel, it makes you that little bit different from so many characterless other hotels in Singapore.

great location and wonderful service”
Loved the location in Little India a vibrant and interesting part of Singapore. Great shopping and restaurants. This gives a more realistic asian experience than the glitz of orchard Street Rooms are very well appointed although small. Cocktail hour was a great opportunity to meet other guests and to sample the famous Singapore Sling. Breakfast was included and of good quality. The service was outstanding. All staff were friendly, cheerful and helpful attending to all our inquiries and requests. We stupidly left our leather jackets in the wardrobe when we left. The staff packaged and posted them to our Australian address.

Lovely hotel, great service well worth the money”
we loved this hotel.the hotel is on an excellent location.10 min walk from little india or bugis mrt stations.however, you may not like the way from the little india station. it goes through little india and therefore a bit messy but has great shopping chances.our room was very small but clean and cozy.there were no windows. if you are claustrophobic, this may not be your place or ask whether the hotel has rooms with windows.the breakfasts are wonderful with lots of choices.very nice and helpful staff. free wifi.

Funky, terrific hotel with tiny rooms”
The hotel was fabulous - a tiny place in Little India, behaving like an international hotel. The rooms were tiny shoeboxes but every part of the room was thoughtfully used - bathroom felt spacious and wonderful showers, the bed was high quality, comfortable and the place felt like a studio apartment, just shrunk in size. A tray containing fresh towels and high quality shower accessories (e.g. luffa sponge, disposable razor and shaving cream, toothbrushes) was provided. If you wanted to sleep for 24 hours, or if you want to sightsee and use the rooms just for sleep, then this is perfect. For a family or people who want to hang around in their rooms a lot of the time, the rooms are too small for that. And there wasn't a window in either of the two rooms we had. I would definitely recommend it to people though. Close-ish to two train stations and the food around the hotel was amazing. A particular recognition needs to go to the free minibar, replenished daily, and the free cocktail hours (5-7pm) where the first five drinks per room are free. Their Singapore Slings were wonderful and generous.

Awesome Stay with great value for money”
It was definitely an awesome stay with Moon Hotel. They offered very reasonable price, free breakfast, free wifi, free cocktail from 5-7pm. It located in between little india and Bugis. Alots of nice food around this area with walking distance. MRT is just 5 mins away where bus stop is just 2 mins away.

Great value and great location!”
the moon is in a pretty good location if you want to be a part of singapore's culture. easy to find from the train station and easy to wander around singapore. wonderful value for a singapore hotel. it's efficient and it functions well. the service is good, nothing outstanding but you don't really need it here. everything runs smoothly without any fuss. the free cocktails in the afternoon were a lovely finish. breakfast was simple but good. lots of great cheap restaurants around the hotel. yes, the rooms are small but hey it's singapore! we will definitely stay here again.

Great hotel with everything included!”
We loved the hotel, great price and everything was free of charge from wifi to breakfast to cocktails every night. The staff are great, easy to check in and check out. Rooms are clean and serviced well but quite small but not really an issue if you're out all day sightseeing. Easy to get to main roads and the MRT. The area wasn't that great, lots of nice shops and places to eat but really dirty in the streets and the locals stared a lot at my girlfriend. Nothing but praise for the hotel though, a real gem in Little India!

Simple, Cozy and Comfy boutique hotel”
Went on a short overnight stay at Moon Hotel. The hotel was initially hard to spot from the main road but once you get to it, you soon realize that its just a short walk from Sim Lim Square. The lobby is really small but who cares when you have friendly staffs ready to serve you. I did not get the room I requested and ended up with a room on the 2nd floor with no window. Total opposite of what was requested. Room is..acceptably small with ample room for 2 people to move about. The bed was the main event in the room, everything else was cleverly designed, like the table and the sink. One thing that upset me was the toilet. There was this weird smell coming from it. Like the smell of sewage. The toilet door needs to always be closed to prevent the smell from invading the room. It was a nice stay at the Moon but I hope they could do something to the toilets in the room at the lower floors. Overall if your are looking for an affordable boutique hotel, this could be on your list.
