Well, really not expensive. I could compare to the other hotels with similar price, definitely would pick small bamboo house over molded cheap brick room with no windows! Small bamboo hous has a window- actually a whole wall is a window so you do not feel it as so small. Also you have a small "terrace", big enough to put a yoga mat and have a nice time there when it's raining. Nice private bathroom (only the hot water I had only 3times over a week of my stay) Superb swimming pool, not too big but enough for short swim session. Shared space where you can cook or work. By scooter You are actually in Canggu and yet, the property is at the edge of rice fields so it's quiet. For such a price I definitely recommend.

One night stay in bamboo hut”
Great value for money. Simple and clean enough. Close to rice terrace and small but very authentic temple. Of course its not a 5 star resort, everything is simple but very clean. Helpful stuff and a small, clean pool to chill. Would definitely come again.

The place is really cute, between Canggu and open rice fields. Unfortunately, it wasn't that clean and there wasn't any soap or toilet paper but the lady had to prepare the room really fast. I loved the shower partially open to the fields but means that you could have some unexpected little guest during the night. But again, really cute and with noisy frogs all around during night time

nothing worst than wake up middle of the night with 3 big rats/mice at the roof of your room. they most know about this issue and they keep renting that room. not good.

It's good for an experience but only for few days if you're traveling with backpack. It's located by the rice field but there's not much option to keep the belongings as it's bamboo, you can't lock the door as there's none.

not as expected”
Prices do not match the facilities & quality provided. The swimming pool is not clean, there is no view of the rice fields like the offer. It is very good if the Moon Bamboo Villa gives royalties to local farmers for cooperation. There is no welcome drink like other villas. The service is friendly and responsive, it's just that the admin and guards lack communication (the first impression that makes a bad mood). Recommended for solo travelers / backpackers. But less suitable for business trips. Wifi, shower, fan, electricity problems occur. Several times ordered via Agoda, only this time felt very disappointed. Thank you

Amazing stay in Canggu”
We spent an amazing few days at moon bamboo. Super relaxing bamboo bungalow, great pool, staff and vibe. A little away from the hustle and bustle of Canggu which suited us perfectly, however consider renting a scooter as the main town is not in walking distance. Really lovely place to chill out, thank you moon bamboo!

Such a lovely location- great staff”
This location is so beautiful- you feel disconnected from the hustle and bustle of Canggu, overlooking the rice field. The staff were lovely and helpful. Absolutely loved staying in the stilted bamboo housing. You feel a lot more part of nature. The bathroom was great. Bedroom was lovely (just think the chipboard cupboards could be replaced with a wood that feels a little less damp and clean). I would stay here again! Thank you all- hope to see you again soon!

Peaceful little hut”
Great for relaxation - only critiques would be lack of privacy(noise wise) with bamboo thin walls and that the bathroom could’ve used an exhaust, it lead to bad steaming and a musty smell that came into the room.

Great stay in the middle of rice paddy”
Great location in the middle of the rice field, the bed was very comfortable and the mosquito net is very useful. Rooms are made of natural materials and are very cool. Breakfast is very basic, but it's according to price. Overall it was a great stay.

Too Noisy”
It was maybe good to stay when not so many guests stayed. Since every room has no door and we got room with the curtain that even uncovered the front room. We also hear every conversation of the other guests from our room. We came earlier than others then the staff showed us the rooms and let us pick one of those but after we back from shopping, the owner told us to move because after all her friends came to stay also and would occupy our room. Finally we stayed at room no. 7 with broken jet washer toilet. Breakfast is fine suits the price. Luckily the staffs are nice and very helpful.

Bamboo hut”
This is extremely basic accommodation in the country side away from the Centre of Canggu. You will be staying in a bamboo hut with no doors, windows or any safe to put your valuables. You will sleep in open air together with a million frogs, crickets and other bugs. You have never been more happier with a mosquito net! The pool is beautiful. There is no comfort here and the staff does not speak English. Some staff members are really lovely and helpful whilst others are: figure it out. This stay should be considered as an experience rather then as holiday accommodation. I would not recommend a stay longer than 1 night, but it was definitely worth the experience.

Nice Experience”
We had stay dor 2 nights. It was nice to had an experience stay at traditional bamboo house. When night, the fan is cool enough, you won't fell hot. The pool is nice too. The breakfast is self-serving, they serve traditional simply indonesian food, bread to toast and jam, coffee & tea. But, I thins this villa is lack of hospitality. I hadn't a basic amenities such as soap and shampoo for minimal. The washbasin is awfully dirty, may be the staff forgot to scrub it. The faucets is also cover with thick waterspots. In the second day, after I went outside, hope our room is clean already, but it wasn't. They even didn't take out the garbage basket. I am a little bit shock. Eco living is accepted, but hospitalily is a must. Guest will feel refresh when they came back to the room and see it's tidy and clean.

Very lovely pool and friendly staffe, but we live in room NO.10, it's shinny in the afternoon, very hot. And this room has a upstair, near the aisle , sounds noise sometime.Besides this special room, it's worth to experience bunglalow, one night is OK。Fianlly, the rice field atmosphere is really awesome!
