Best service
Service, value to money
The most impressive thing out of this hotel is service. Staffs are well-educated, service minded, and fluent in English. Room is great, big, and clean. Nothing to complain for what you pay for.

Not bad at all!
- rooms are renovated and there's much space available - it's clean and the personnel is quite nice
- breakfast could be better
- This is not supposed to be a 4 star hotel. All in all it's a nice hotel, the only points of improvements are the breakfast which is a bit unsufficient, though not bad as such. In addition, the bathroom are not of the same age as the rooms which have been renovated. Bathrooms are ok and clean, but not so "nice".

Decent Hotel
Professional staff, English-speaking, clean spacious rooms
It's a value for money hotel
We stayed only one night and checked in late about 9pm and checked out early at 7am. We came away with no negative impressions of this hotel. We got upgraded to a deluxe room as there were no more standard rooms with twin beds as we had requested. The counter staff was friendly, courteous and even gave me a copy of an English travel magazine which I picked up in the hotel lobby. Did not use this hotel for long term stay so have no comments as to the location etc. But the rooms (at least the deluxe) is at least spacious and clean. Would comment that unlike other hotels which we stayed, the cable tv channels are limited. Finally, I would conclude that this hotel may be cheaper than Hong Ngoc 1 which we checked into subsequently but it's so much better in terms of cleanliness and atmosphere. Of course, it can't beat Maison D'Hanoi which we stayed in but then Maison was double the price. Overall, as I said earlier, nothing negative about this hotel.

Reasonable hotel
Excellent staff Fruit in rooms replenished daily Free access to internet
Location - it took at least 25 minutes to walk to the Hoan Kiem lake through the Old Quarter.
THe Viet Hotel is a reasonably priced centrally located hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are comfortable and service good. Breakfast included within the tarrif is basic but adequate. Free internet access and daily provision of fruit in the room are real pluses. The hotel is at the northern end of the Historic Quarter and fairly central although it is a fair walking distance to Hoam Kiem Lake which takes about 25 minutes.

Stayed 2nd time here
Friendly and helpful staff, WiFi in room, location near old quarter, in-house restaurant small but nice
bathroom with bathtube (there are some rooms with modern shower and glass door, ask for them)
I stayed already second time in this Hotel and enjoyed it again. The staff is very friendly and helpful and location of the Hotel is good (near Old Quarter). The rooms are very clean (even fruit basket in room), the floors are laminate and not carpet which looks nice. It is a good choice for less money. A 3* Hotel who deserves 4*!
