"The restaurant is amazing. Nice cottage. They seem to have problem with agoda so please make sure you email to confirm your room and your booking conditions before your trip. We booked sea-view cottage but the staff took us to the garden room at the back instead and it took like half and hour before they sorted out for us. When checked out, it took nearly half and hour again to check that if we have paid via agoda already."

"This hotel has a little spa, restaurant and pool area. The rooms were lovely with the view of the sunset when each apartment has a balcony that you can see it. The staff in the restaurant were amazing we had Bhushan in the morning he was so accommodating with getting anything we ordered. In the evening we had Ankar he was great too. The food in the restaurant was so nice and fresh. Everything was made to order. The breakfast is small but everything is there and you can order eggs too. The spa is so relaxing and the massages we had were great too. The rooms are very clean and modern the only problem was the water wasn’t always hot in the night. The reception staff were so accommodating when we were leaving, they were so helpful. But I would recommended this hotel. "

"After an extensive internet search, we spent 11 nights at this 'restaurant with (cottage) rooms' on the beautiful beach at Ashwem. The cottages are either side of a paved, level path that winds down between palm trees to the restaurant overlooking beach - sunsets to die for. Ours was a 'Grand' cottage which was spacious, comfortable and attractively decorated in simple rustic style with an adjacent spacious shower room where everything worked well. Both were maintained impeccably clean. The Elevar restaurant was as good, if not better, than the renowned La Plage which is about 100m walk along the sands. Leela also has a small vegetarian restaurant which we did not try. The staff, almost without exception, were charming, polite and smiling. What's not to like? Perhaps the 2 or 3 docile beach dogs that some guests insist on feeding and the nearby wedding venue with amplified music - but all is quiet after 1030 pm. Otherwise, it's delightful."
