Convenient airport location”

Baymont Inn And Suites O'Hare Elk Grove Village Hotel takes longer to say than it actually takes to get there from the airport. This is a good choice if you have an early flight to catch or if you want to make a quick night stop after a long haul flight. Even though my reservation was lost, staff were quick to solve the issue and provide me with a room. Agoda was also nice and quick enough to apologize for the misunderstanding, from where I see it, it was probably a lack of communication inside the hotel. You get what you pay for, big room, a bit worn but perfectly useable. Airport shuttle is a plus and their wake-up calls work without a hitch.

Near O'hare; Perfect for quick stay”

It is a perfect hotel for a quick stay prior to a flight out of O'hare. It looks like it has been recently remodeled, and both room and the facility in general are nicely clean. It is a bare bones hotel, as would be expected, but some minor concerns (unexpected) were noticed. One, an electrical outlet by the bed was apparently not connected (surprise, phone wasn't charging all night!), second, turning on the cable TV service was not straightforward (I gave up and watched news on my phone), and third, the internet connection was pretty slow and/or spotty. Finally, the bed was soft (OK) and not level, causing us to roll to the center of the bed as we slept. The bottom line on the room--great for a quick and convenient stay, but not a place to relax for a lazy get away.

Front desk people were excellent ”

Good price. Nice to have the shuttle service to the airport and connect there with metro blue line in order to go around donwtown Chicago. The people speaking Spanish in front desk were the best. So friendly. I would recommend to add an extra pillow for the room

Quick stopover stay near the airport”

I reached Chicago airport at 8pm and stayed over the night here before meeting a Friend who flew in early the next day. Nice and cheap motel for such quick stopover stay

Was a pretty good stay”

I'm a college student who is studying abroad and stayed a day at the hotel. I booked through Agoda.com and got a price of 55 US dollars for a king room, which was pretty neat. The inside is clean, the staff is nice (even let me check in a bit early). The heating and cooling system is awesome, and they have a shuttle that will drive you to the airport. Very nice stay.

The motel is a old motel but is value for money. The location also great and near to the airport. Even they got free shuttle to the airport and the price for all item in the vending machine are competitive. Its a good experience

No Airport Shuttle”

I chose this hotel for the price and the airport shuttle. Imagine arriving at night on an international flight and discovering the hotel discontinued shuttle service 2 weeks ago. The cost of taxis to/from added $50.00 to the price of the hotel. Shame on Agoda for not alerting those of us who booked way in advance.

Overnight layover from Ohare”

My complimentary ride from the airport arrived within ten minutes of my calling. The hotel is basic, clean, quiet and comfortable. The only negative was that they had no wifi desire giving me login info. When I called the desk to ask if they might reset the router their only remedy was to give me an 800 number to call to ask for help. That was very disappointing.

It's ok for its price”

it's ok for its low price. a little bit far from the airport. but it has free shuttles to and from the airport everyday. so generally speaking, it's convenient. the breakfast is just ok. i live on the first floor. so i feel a little bit noisy during the night since many customers have the late flight. overall, it's ok.

Ideal”

We literally got in and slept until 3am to get the FREE shuttle to the airport. Check in was easy and rooms were clean. Worth the money and the 24hr free shuttle is a bonus. Would come back if I was here again

Manager Threatened Me 4 Double Parking”

Extremely dissatisfied. Traveling cross country in a uhaul truck I stopped at this Motel 6 late with a seven year old and a one year old. I accidently double parked in a half full parking lot. At about 6 in the morning I am getting our belongings back in the truck to prepare to check out and leave. A car pulls up next to me and asks if that is my vehicle. I tell them yes. This woman begins to shout out her window telling me I can't do that. I can't park like that. I walk away back towards the door. She pulls up along side me again, I tell her I am getting ready to leave and keep walking. She replies she is the manager, I can't do that and THREATENS TO CALL THE POLICE FOR A NONE MOVING VIOLATION, AT 6 am; DURING A PANDEMIC all because I wouldn't stop to discuss. She wasn't even on the clock yet. I am back down by 6:30 with my children and ask how to check out. She tries to restart the issue with me at the counter by telling me what I should do in the future. I told her I was leaving then and I am leaving now whatever issue she has is already being solved. I will never stay at a Motel 6 again.

Free shuttle to OHare”

When i arrived, the hotel was somehow booked out. The manager was very apologetic and make arrangement for me to move to Super 8 next day, and arrange free transportation to bring me there. Am grateful anyhow though i did not get to stay there. Shuttle is free to OHARE airport, just have to pre-arrange the day before. 15-20 min drive to the airport.

Convinient,clean comfortable stay afte a long trip”

Hotel Stay was very Good, we were satisfied. Only issue had nothing to do with hotel, but they could perhaps help. We were pointed the correct directions by the hotel shuttle driver to the Shuttle Pick Up point, & waited by the sign that says "Car Rental Pick Up". Only after waiting a while were we informed by a duty officer that the sign was incorrect & the pick up point was moved some 500m round the corner. There were no signs at the new location & only a confirmation from another duty officer were we able to ascertain that this was the correct place. NOT the hotel's fault, but perhaps they could alert future guest

Cozy and comfortable hotel!”

I got a room in this hotel through Agoda, which made it pretty cheap compared to their normal rates, and for this price, I say the stay here was completely worth it. The airport shuttle is very good, running every 30 minutes from the hotel to the airport, which has the CTR that allows you to go to downtown from there. The staff were friendly and nice, and the room was cozy. The area around the hotel was safe peaceful too. The only thing I have to say I dislike would be the breakfast. To be honest, the breakfast was... pretty bad. The bread and waffles were cold and had no taste. There were no fresh food and the juice machine was broken. Not to mention the fact that breakfast finishes very early.

Very simple amenities accommodation in Chicago”

Overall budget level accommodation offering very basic features. Situation in an industrial part of the Chicago O' hare airport and accessibility is via shuttle or own transport or public buses. Quite and peaceful location with very little food amenities around. The Inn is clean and comfortable, however a little run down in term of furniture and deco. Staff is good however understaff when there are many people checking in or out. Just nice of people who are on budget and do not mind the location inconvenience.
