Way too expensive for what you get”
You know what you're getting with a Motel 6. I don't think I have to get into the expected cleanliness issues and such. My big complaint is that it's too expensive for what you get. There are nicer hotels that cost just as much money in more convenient locations in DC. The Good: - The staff is pleasant. The Bad: - The usual with Motel 6 - The wifi here is extremely slow. 1 Mbps up/down

This is a no frills, need somewhere reasonably priced to stay, older hotel. The room was clean and the shower was hot. The walls are thin and you will hear noise in rooms beside you and in the hallway but it fit my needs and I was too exhausted after walking around DC all day to care. Bonus: the Tacoma Metro Station is a quick 15 min walk away. Staff was nice. Would consider staying again.

My partner and I stayed for 1 night for a show at the Fillmore. We arrived for check in at 7pm. We had to figure out how to access the wifi, locate the elevator and find out the pool would be closed for maintenance on our way to locate our 4th floor room. I passed on an Airbnb equally priced that I’m sure would’ve been cleaner. The room smelled like smoke, the second bed had oil spots on the sheets, and the floors were incredibly dirty and the bathroom smelled like someone had recently (within the last hour) taken a poop and forgot to spray. We quickly ran to cvs for body wash and picked up bleach, multi surface cleaner, cleaning cloths and Dawn detergent soap and cleaned up before taking showers and heading to our concert. The next morning I called the front desk at 9:40 and asked if we could extend for an hour (I.e. 11am check out now becoming a 12pm check out) since we were so tired. The woman responded 11:30 am and quickly hungup. At 10:50 am housekeeping began knocking
