Great Place/ View, Good Staff”
The place/ view is superb. Away from the busy town, close to Kande Ella and Ambewela. Clean and beautiful place. Steven, the person who was in charge of the place when we visited provided a very good service and did a very good. cooking.

Very very isolated”
Accommodation is about 30 mins out of Nuwara Eliya, along a very rough, dirt road, with very large holes. Unfortunately we couldn't see the view due to clouds and mist, was freezing, inside and out. The host, Steven, did a good job of providing a meal at late notice. Not what English people are seeking.

Shouldn't be offered at all ”
This inn is situated in the hills far from the city centre (20 min drive), and the road leading to it from both directions is a very narrow one-lane steep dirt road, making it dangerous to get to the property by car. Unless you have a 4x4, any attempts to drive to the hotel can end up with the car being stuck in mud, on a rocky unpaved road. Google maps doesn't locate the hotel correctly, and the directions indicated lead through a farm road dangerous for driving. We ended up not staying in the hotel after a 10-minute inspection: there was no option to order food on the premises, and the area is remote with no supermarkets or small shops nearby. The wifi wasn't working in the room at all. The owner speaks limited English. The view from the property is beautiful, but this inn should not be offered to international travellers at all, in my view.

We had a marvelous stay in Nuwara Eliya at the Mount Lake Inn.The hotel smells fresh and clean.Very nice guesthouse with wonderful interiors. The room was very, very clean and modern.fantastic service and some excellent dining too..The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional.The environment was very peaceful and elegant. Thank you for making our visit to Nuwara Eliya so comfortable and enjoyable.Would definitely stay again when we came back.

Very clean place. Satff is very friendly and kind. The view is breathtaking. Road to the hotel is not the best but overall its totally worth it. Dont trust the Google map, call the hotel to get directions. Cool and calm surrounding.
